2 things I think are important: 1) Keep your tradeable materials that you gather in the far left warehouse so they don't get used up unless you explicitly need them. Stuff that is character bound should always be used first in your upgrading. 2) there are points where you get 20 stacks of chests with materials or gems and while it may be tempting to open all 20, open them individually as you need them. I opened all twenty when I needed small blue and red crystals, now I have thousands bound to my character, and I have out leveled those crystals. Opening them as needed would have allowed me to pass the chests to my alts. Or just pick the next level of crystals.
i messed up with this did 506 iteam lvl assassin then i stop like to play it so i create paladin and have no stones to upgrade do u think it will be better to start from beginning or just keep going?
@@GamerGify If you power passed your Paladin to 50, and you grabbed all the island quests the first time through, you won't get the bonus materials. But you can run chaos dungeons to no end and buy the weekly materials from the vendor and the ship. One of the ships sells materials for Pirate coins. Both have weekly limits though. I do not know if starting over adds value. I don't even know what happens if you delete your first character and then start another. The materials gained through story and island may be locked to your roster so they may not reset. I would just keep going. You will get the materials over time. CD and GR are the best sources to get drops and use the weekly purchase limits on the vendor and the ship, also check daily tasks for the ones that reward with materials you need. To put this in perspective, I did not run islands at all in RU and I lvled to t3 pretty steadily....but I also had the catchup mechanic working in my favor there. I think you just keep going with the paladin.
When buying accessories, do not buy items with the same name. Accessories with the same name cannot be equipped at the same time. Clothing such as hats and tops does not matter. Please be mindful of that. Otherwise, you could lose a lot of money later.
Additional tip: hold ALT to compare an earing / earpiece to the second one equipped. Another ALT tip: instead of reading 20 books of engraving separately, stack them up and ALT + click it to read them all at once (same thing for cooking the donut in Luterra castle)
@@ratstar4102 because % potions can be used in end game. Better to save them. Static potions can't be used in end game. So if it says heal 40% for example, keep it. If it says heal 600 life for example, then use it.
@@ratstar4102 To clarify: there is two types of potions. One heals over time. One heals in one burst. The latter effectively costs gold, which is a timegated ressource and should thus not be wasted. You will (likely) not need the instant potions while leveling / doing dailies and whatnot anyways. What's important is that you can *not* use the heal over time potions in, say, raids. So that's what you usually want to save the gold potions for. The heal over time one you can just buy as many as you need with silver.

I like how he emphasizes things for casual players like he knows some are not so free with regards to their time like me. With the things he said I'm comfortable that even if I don't invest too much time in this game daily. I would still get to enjoy it.
Good video sir, but I would like to point out there is a daily quest for u to do to get feathers if you are out of them later on. Complete 1 of the yellow quest in artemis continent on the map called border it will unlock the daily quest. It will provide feather if you do the dailies you can do it if you are really out of them then just set an alt there to pick n do that quest but feathers are alot normally you would not need to do it if you don't waste it. But just incase you exhaust it that is 1 of the way, just putting it out there not necessarily have to spend cash to get em tho.
What is the significance of setting an alt there? Does that mean everytime you log in to the alt youll be where you want to be to complete that quest and keep repeating it?
@@AdrianDWolfe It is just to save time. You do not have to travel to that point with your character (traveling without the teleport set on that place is time consuming) if you place an alt character at that place and can simply log on him and complete the quest daily.
Thank you for the videos. So glad that this game can cater to casuals as much as hardcore gamers. Hard to have time for anything with a full time job and a family. Hopefully I can convince my wife and 13 yr old son to check this out so at least we can spend family time playing this game together.
What I wish I would’ve done differently on the RU server, was doing my guide quests as I level up as opposed to skipping them for later. If you’re someone who doesn’t like to back track to other to other continents I would recommend doing them as you see them. Some are very quick while I would maybe leave out the estate guide quests for later on, as to me that seemed to be one of the longer ones. The guide quests will be purple/pink quests. (I’m colorblind so I’m not quite sure 😂)
There is alot of info in the estate quest, but it only takes 10mins if you skip through it all, and it's a good idea to get started asap, as it's time based. also bonus tip for you, there is coloblind filters in the Accessibility menu :)
Concerning the leveling, I played on RU recently doing some experiments on the best way to lvl. I leveled a berserker and a striker all the way to 50. The berseker I just did mains, on striker, I did everything including the seccondary quests and the results were: Berserker: 12:26 hours Striker: 14:45 hours So, the difference between both leveling methods was about 2 hours and 20 minutes. For the people that will just burn the first day leveling nonstop, that is a very minor difference and you will see yourself on lvl 50 either way on day 1. For the people that actually split the gaming time in a few hours a day, that will be different. Things to mention concerning those 2 lvling experiences: 1- I had already leveled a paladin before running those tests, so quests like the pet quest, island quest and gathering quest didn´t enter the equation, since you only need to do those once on the account. 2- I skipped the tutorial on both cases, that eased up quite some time, I would guess 30 mins or so minimum. 3- I had no competition for quests like "kill x mobs" or "collect x resources", you know, any quest that would put you on a halt in case you have a horde of players competing with you and forcing you to sit still and wait for respawns. So those benchmarks may be slightly higher on day 1 and considering how the launch of NW was, I would guess that we will face queues for entering the servers, it´s amazon after all, so don´t be frustrated if things take a bit longer than what I got on RU.
I actually enjoy doing all the side missions and not just do the main story line. I’m in no hurry to the end content or rushing through it. It’s like eating at great restaurant; you don’t just eat the food quickly, you stop during bites and thoroughly tastes what you’re eating and define the complexities in your meal. So, that’s how I play my mmo’s. Every one keeps saying, “just do the main quests, you’ll level faster”. Nope. Not me. For me, it takes away from the authenticity of the game and gameplay created by the devs that they want you to experience.
I honestly couldn't care how fast I get to max level, that isn't the game for me, I like story quests and exploring. Just hope this game doesn't get elitests who belittle other players. If there's elites who offer guidance then that's different to me.
hearing so many +'s for casual players is music to my ears. i work full time, have a newborn, and have other weekly hobbies. being able to dump either a lot of hours in one day of the week or an hour here and there throughout the week and still be relevant is SO NICE to know 🙏
Thought i'd contribute with a correction and some advice, you need to buy the green tools to gather the materials for the guide quests that give the blue tools, so don't skip the green tools as you'll just get confused as to why you cant gather, plus you shouldn't use the blue tool for the early lvling of professions, it's a complete waste of max durability. Greens are cheap and easily disposable, blues less so.
@Konstantinos Kyprianou I'd say when you can reliably make them, then upgrades are more sustainable. So when you can craft blues start using blues etc, the only exception is relic tools as they are extremely hard to get, so unless its a purple node don't use relic tools on it, use purples. You'll notice that some professions have minigames, better tool and tool stats help with those, so leveling to "max lvl" (as far as I know there is no max lvl, you just stop getting big unlocks after lvl 30, the rest after are small passive upgrades) with greens is a lot harder than it has to be just to save some silver/gold. At the end of the day it's just about efficiency and getting bigger payouts of rare materials from nodes, better tools means better chance at getting good materials. If you want to break it down into levels, i'd say a tool upgrade every 10 lvls, so greens until lvl 10 etc. You could also just go to lvl 15 with greens, but then we're back to the efficiency dilemma.

As someone who doesn't like the Stronghold type stuff, F*** them for making it basically mandatory. Housing is cool for those who like to do it (I don't... I just think it is cool for the creative types to be able to)... however as usual it is just another mechanic to make crafting more complicated and to make another timesink. It is a mechanic to make you set a timer to log in, or suffer months of catching up if you don't got the time. Do anyone find the time they spend at the Stronghold to be fun? To me, it has just been "return to base to start the next timesink".

dont do the tower on your main first, do it on your alt first, then do it on your main because it gives much more upgrade mats the 2nd time, since its intended for alts to catch up, but you can boost your main with it instead
Could you explain in a way that a noob understands? We just recently unlocked the tower, should we not do it at all until we have other characters up to that point?

Don't fall into tricks/trickery of people telling you "pro guilds will need you to invest money for world firsts" and so on. If you have common sense there will be no boss in this game that's "too hard" or anything. "If its red and gloomy you may go ouchie-boomy! If its green and tingles weird, you may get healed" Read mechanics beforehand and don't stand in enemy aoe. Done. You're now a professional raider ^^ Or... run around screaming in pain and agony. Sometimes this works too. Stay crunchy.

I really dont understand why people like this game so much. I have played it for 10 hours now and have run through every quest/dungeon very easily. Every quest is the same and there is no challenge. This game feels like a walksimulator to me. I might not have played the endgame. But I dont wanna grind something stupid before playing the actual game lol.

I play as a sharpshooter, so far, I am slowly leveling up, taking my time and enjoying the gameplay. With that said, I absolutely hate how the game provides so little information on how to properly play it. The game is perhaps too complicated, offering a staggering amount of options and techniques that, for the most part, I have no idea how to properly utilize them. Playing and leveling in this game can feel very overwhelming at times. I have resorted to primarily ignoring ALL of the features available to a player. I did the bare-bones with my stronghold (that was part of the quest line), I have not upgraded my sailing ship whatsoever, I have all but ignored my trade skills, etc. I have only been doing quests and side-quests, that's it! Lost Ark does a terrible job explaining the nuances and intricacies of its systems. Maybe I am just getting old and lack the patience to understand, I don't know, apart from the actual gameplay and the cool visuals the game has, the rest of the game kind of bores me. I'll keep plugging along for who knows how long, or until I get tired of the game and call it quits.

No, they realized that if you can swap main you have more chances to buy stuff from cash shop from them. Really is that simple. I mean you can call it what you want, its "How can we get players to buy things if they already have one character they like". Its like that with most asian MMO. Not a bad thing if got self control, but that is what it is. The whole idea of doing daily quests and stuff is exactly a way to make you want to play the game like a job. I have no desire, and do most players in NA want to do them.
unsub.... making guides with unverified information wich u can check in 5 min is just so miserable 5:00 - no % pots in guild shop 6:20 - eqiup items only with Agi, Spec or Crit, cus those stats r much more efficient on low lvl, so if u'll change ur necklace with 40 spec 30 agi for another 40 end & 30 prof but with 30 str/dex/int ur dps will become lower 12:22 - u cant use feathers in abyss dungeons when u figh bosses if u die u have to wait for win or wipe 12:38 - theres absolutely no sense in using feathers in chaos dungeons, 12:40 - "and again - abyss dungeons", mb u r talking about abyss raids?
I think you need to buy the fishing rod and the pickaxe at the very least to unlock the life skills. All the other guide quests do provide you with a tool.
2:32 to go along with this I would also like to point out that you can repair these items for SIGNIFICANTLY less than it takes to buy them again! Please keep an eye on your durability :)
Great Vid, thanks. One thing I would add, when you get to Bern and complete the initial instanced quest and speak with the queen, do the Chaos dungeon for a set of 302 gear(or at least most pieces). It will make doing the remaining Bern quests a little easier and get you started in doing the Epona weekly. Then when you finish Shushire, replace/recycle any gear that is better quality (durability/additional stats) than what you have equipped. Hopefully it will get ppl into the habit of checking quality early as with T2 and T3 gear, you will be looking at Tripods also provided with the gear.
Quick Question on Skill Point Potions: When you unlock one does it skill points for all characters, or all characters? So do I have to get the potions on every character, or one.

Hi, just joined this channel, and very excited for this game!...quick question about strongholds. I'm assuming this is also the place where you store all of your "stuff"?....if so, are there capacity limits?.....I'm currently playing New World, and the capacity limits in the storage sheds are driving me nuts!!
No you can store in any place around the map but it is all connected to one storage space. Also there is slots that you unlock and can fit everything in there. Storage in this game is def not a problem I havent heard anyone run into problems and there is no weight for things.
I'm not going to pre-order, just play it for free when it drops and try it, but i'm assuming the lag with no OCE servers will kill it for me, but we'll see...
god, it really bothers me when people rush to 50. just have fun with the game, you will only get that initial leveling experience once. make it count....
One correction though you have to buy the mining and fishing gear for these 2 questlines. The other ones they hand you a free uncommon tool then if you complete the quests you also get a free rare. But mining and fishing you get no free uncommon one to start the quest, so you have to buy them and just get the rare reward after you finish the quests.
Have they shortened the time it takes to level up? It took me an a friend a very long escrutiating week of terrible levelling about an year ago in Russia
should we break down all the equipment dupes we get while leveling, or simply sell them? should you hang on to the scrap? is it for anything other than vendors?
Something I wish i knew when starting was to receive the rewards in the adventure book...by hitting "N" you'll bring up ur adventure book and in the top left it'll say "receive all". I didn't understand how friends were blasting 10+ Legacy levels ahead of me (im on RU), and by receiving the rewards up there u dont only get the rewards for the zone, but every 10% u also get a massive amount of legacy XP
Ok, so the games been out for a day. And I made a stupid mistake. I seen those feathers in my inventory and didn't know what it was and used 10 of them for nothing...... It wasn't until I finally died when I seen what they were. ALWAYS READ THE DISC BEFORE USING SOMETHING.
Only use flat hp potions when leveling (600, 980, 1560, etc) because at late game, you can have over 60k hp and your 2k hp potion wont do jack shit to help when its a mere 5% of your hp. Also, hp pots are probably expensive to make.
4:32 im NA - ilv900 player, are there any guilds actually active here? I tried 5 different guilds among the ones that don't ask you for a character over 1300 ilv and all i found were guild full of alts and max 3 players online, no one uses the guild chat...The game itself, at least at the moment I'm in, might as well be an offline rpg and it wouldn't make much of a difference...
I'm having a BLAST with Lost ark so far. It's easily the best combat I've experienced in an MMO. I was mainly playing ESO before starting this game and the combat alone is a HUUUUGE upgrade
With regard to the side quest vs no side quest argument....there isn't one...do the side quests....9 times out of 10 they take right into the area of the main quest and have you kill the same enemies you have to for the main quest...its legit free lol I cant count how many times I took a side quest and then a min later realized that I completed it without even trying....do the GD side quests....also alot of the side quests are roster bound...meaning once they are done on one character they are done on all characters...also also alot of the time the side quests lead to more side quests that have much better rewards including SKILL POINT POTIONS!!!! Do them....do the GD side quests

What this guy is missing in his videos about this game is this:>> You can't do shit in this game without activating a quest first. So if you need to kill a random miniboss you need a quest for it.. or if you want to do a dungeon of some sort.. you got it.. you need to activate a damn quest for it.. and so on.. Anything that you do in this game is quest related one way or another... not to mention the economy sistem that have dozens of dozens of curencies related to specific items or on how to activated a specific (you got it) QUEST. 1. Stop telling people to skip the side quests. Even if you're just trying to get to end game the side quests are a good source of exp (and other resources like hidden dungeon scrolls), they don't take very long to complete and most of them tell you to go where you're already going anyway. 2. Do the hidden dungeons! The first one in Loghill gave me a legendary ring and the next one I did (idr where) gave me a ring and earrings. So if you want some good early stat boosts do the hidden dungeons. They also don't take very long as they're just a boss fight and then you leave.
Wait what? "nedds a little longer to kill the mobs like the Gunlancer"? Dude, I play Gunlancer Main and am most of the Time first or second in dmg/kills... Biggest downside of this class is only movement - an maybe scattered single mobs
That was false info, they are not finite. You have dailies you can unlock to get them. If you really want to die a lot, you can do those dailies on like 10 alts to stack a ton of feathers.
Not a knock against the video, but a personal gripe, lol. Man, I dislike the terms 'casual' and 'hardcore'. I play games as I have the time and I come and go as I please, but that does not mean I am oblivious to min-maxing or caring about how well I am doing. I can play a game 'casually' and also strive for the best gear and equipment. I do not care how fast I get something done so long as it gets done and the end result is the same, but that does not mean I do not care about winning, lol.
I've accidently skipped the prolong guidea after using my speed-pass on one of my alts and I later found out that I missed on osme cool skins i really wanted to get. How can I "unskip" the prolong guide and continue where I left off?
Regarding the Tip about the crafting Tools: i Just reached that point today, but the guide quest required me to equip a Tool, before rewarding me with a blue-tool as reward? Where do i get the free Tools to DO the Guidequest?

hit 50, spent a day doing islands (got 10 island souls in the day), spent most of my honing materials from the quests on some trash blue gear instead of the set gear from the Abyssal Dungeons. /cry
I've already lost 10+ guardian raid loots including first kills on alts because its the only thing in game you have to loot. Piss poor system and borderline infuriating how wasteful it is.

Do characters share NPC affinity like they share account level? Or you need to level NPC affinities separately on each character?

I like how he emphasizes things for casual players like he knows some are not so free with regards to their time like me. With the things he said I'm comfortable that even if I don't invest too much time in this game daily. I would still get to enjoy it.
There are optimal routes to play that I've been looking up, it helps to not get distracted when you know what to avoid.
Good video sir, but I would like to point out there is a daily quest for u to do to get feathers if you are out of them later on. Complete 1 of the yellow quest in artemis continent on the map called border it will unlock the daily quest. It will provide feather if you do the dailies you can do it if you are really out of them then just set an alt there to pick n do that quest but feathers are alot normally you would not need to do it if you don't waste it. But just incase you exhaust it that is 1 of the way, just putting it out there not necessarily have to spend cash to get em tho.

What is the significance of setting an alt there? Does that mean everytime you log in to the alt youll be where you want to be to complete that quest and keep repeating it?
@@AdrianDWolfe It is just to save time. You do not have to travel to that point with your character (traveling without the teleport set on that place is time consuming) if you place an alt character at that place and can simply log on him and complete the quest daily.

What I wish I would’ve done differently on the RU server, was doing my guide quests as I level up as opposed to skipping them for later. If you’re someone who doesn’t like to back track to other to other continents I would recommend doing them as you see them. Some are very quick while I would maybe leave out the estate guide quests for later on, as to me that seemed to be one of the longer ones. The guide quests will be purple/pink quests. (I’m colorblind so I’m not quite sure 😂)
There is alot of info in the estate quest, but it only takes 10mins if you skip through it all, and it's a good idea to get started asap, as it's time based.
also bonus tip for you, there is coloblind filters in the Accessibility menu :)
Concerning the leveling, I played on RU recently doing some experiments on the best way to lvl. I leveled a berserker and a striker all the way to 50. The berseker I just did mains, on striker, I did everything including the seccondary quests and the results were:
Berserker: 12:26 hours
Striker: 14:45 hours
So, the difference between both leveling methods was about 2 hours and 20 minutes. For the people that will just burn the first day leveling nonstop, that is a very minor difference and you will see yourself on lvl 50 either way on day 1. For the people that actually split the gaming time in a few hours a day, that will be different.
Things to mention concerning those 2 lvling experiences:
1- I had already leveled a paladin before running those tests, so quests like the pet quest, island quest and gathering quest didn´t enter the equation, since you only need to do those once on the account.
2- I skipped the tutorial on both cases, that eased up quite some time, I would guess 30 mins or so minimum.
3- I had no competition for quests like "kill x mobs" or "collect x resources", you know, any quest that would put you on a halt in case you have a horde of players competing with you and forcing you to sit still and wait for respawns.
So those benchmarks may be slightly higher on day 1 and considering how the launch of NW was, I would guess that we will face queues for entering the servers, it´s amazon after all, so don´t be frustrated if things take a bit longer than what I got on RU.

I actually enjoy doing all the side missions and not just do the main story line. I’m in no hurry to the end content or rushing through it. It’s like eating at great restaurant; you don’t just eat the food quickly, you stop during bites and thoroughly tastes what you’re eating and define the complexities in your meal. So, that’s how I play my mmo’s. Every one keeps saying, “just do the main quests, you’ll level faster”. Nope. Not me. For me, it takes away from the authenticity of the game and gameplay created by the devs that they want you to experience.
Yummy. I've just finished the "elegy of the silence" quest line, it was so delicious I even shed a tear.
I honestly couldn't care how fast I get to max level, that isn't the game for me, I like story quests and exploring. Just hope this game doesn't get elitests who belittle other players. If there's elites who offer guidance then that's different to me.
hearing so many +'s for casual players is music to my ears. i work full time, have a newborn, and have other weekly hobbies. being able to dump either a lot of hours in one day of the week or an hour here and there throughout the week and still be relevant is SO NICE to know 🙏

Thought i'd contribute with a correction and some advice, you need to buy the green tools to gather the materials for the guide quests that give the blue tools, so don't skip the green tools as you'll just get confused as to why you cant gather, plus you shouldn't use the blue tool for the early lvling of professions, it's a complete waste of max durability. Greens are cheap and easily disposable, blues less so.
@Konstantinos Kyprianou I'd say when you can reliably make them, then upgrades are more sustainable. So when you can craft blues start using blues etc, the only exception is relic tools as they are extremely hard to get, so unless its a purple node don't use relic tools on it, use purples. You'll notice that some professions have minigames, better tool and tool stats help with those, so leveling to "max lvl" (as far as I know there is no max lvl, you just stop getting big unlocks after lvl 30, the rest after are small passive upgrades) with greens is a lot harder than it has to be just to save some silver/gold. At the end of the day it's just about efficiency and getting bigger payouts of rare materials from nodes, better tools means better chance at getting good materials. If you want to break it down into levels, i'd say a tool upgrade every 10 lvls, so greens until lvl 10 etc. You could also just go to lvl 15 with greens, but then we're back to the efficiency dilemma.
You actually will get the novice level tool when you do the quest for that particular trade. Don't bother buying them for 1500 silver.

As someone who doesn't like the Stronghold type stuff, F*** them for making it basically mandatory. Housing is cool for those who like to do it (I don't... I just think it is cool for the creative types to be able to)... however as usual it is just another mechanic to make crafting more complicated and to make another timesink.
It is a mechanic to make you set a timer to log in, or suffer months of catching up if you don't got the time.
Do anyone find the time they spend at the Stronghold to be fun? To me, it has just been "return to base to start the next timesink".

dont do the tower on your main first, do it on your alt first, then do it on your main because it gives much more upgrade mats the 2nd time, since its intended for alts to catch up, but you can boost your main with it instead

I really dont understand why people like this game so much. I have played it for 10 hours now and have run through every quest/dungeon very easily. Every quest is the same and there is no challenge. This game feels like a walksimulator to me. I might not have played the endgame. But I dont wanna grind something stupid before playing the actual game lol.

I play as a sharpshooter, so far, I am slowly leveling up, taking my time and enjoying the gameplay. With that said, I absolutely hate how the game provides so little information on how to properly play it. The game is perhaps too complicated, offering a staggering amount of options and techniques that, for the most part, I have no idea how to properly utilize them. Playing and leveling in this game can feel very overwhelming at times. I have resorted to primarily ignoring ALL of the features available to a player. I did the bare-bones with my stronghold (that was part of the quest line), I have not upgraded my sailing ship whatsoever, I have all but ignored my trade skills, etc. I have only been doing quests and side-quests, that's it! Lost Ark does a terrible job explaining the nuances and intricacies of its systems. Maybe I am just getting old and lack the patience to understand, I don't know, apart from the actual gameplay and the cool visuals the game has, the rest of the game kind of bores me. I'll keep plugging along for who knows how long, or until I get tired of the game and call it quits.

No, they realized that if you can swap main you have more chances to buy stuff from cash shop from them. Really is that simple. I mean you can call it what you want, its "How can we get players to buy things if they already have one character they like". Its like that with most asian MMO. Not a bad thing if got self control, but that is what it is.
The whole idea of doing daily quests and stuff is exactly a way to make you want to play the game like a job. I have no desire, and do most players in NA want to do them.

I think you need to buy the fishing rod and the pickaxe at the very least to unlock the life skills. All the other guide quests do provide you with a tool.

One thing I would add, when you get to Bern and complete the initial instanced quest and speak with the queen, do the Chaos dungeon for a set of 302 gear(or at least most pieces). It will make doing the remaining Bern quests a little easier and get you started in doing the Epona weekly. Then when you finish Shushire, replace/recycle any gear that is better quality (durability/additional stats) than what you have equipped. Hopefully it will get ppl into the habit of checking quality early as with T2 and T3 gear, you will be looking at Tripods also provided with the gear.

Hi, just joined this channel, and very excited for this game!...quick question about strongholds. I'm assuming this is also the place where you store all of your "stuff"?....if so, are there capacity limits?.....I'm currently playing New World, and the capacity limits in the storage sheds are driving me nuts!!
No you can store in any place around the map but it is all connected to one storage space. Also there is slots that you unlock and can fit everything in there. Storage in this game is def not a problem I havent heard anyone run into problems and there is no weight for things.
I'm not going to pre-order, just play it for free when it drops and try it, but i'm assuming the lag with no OCE servers will kill it for me, but we'll see...
god, it really bothers me when people rush to 50. just have fun with the game, you will only get that initial leveling experience once. make it count....
One correction though you have to buy the mining and fishing gear for these 2 questlines. The other ones they hand you a free uncommon tool then if you complete the quests you also get a free rare. But mining and fishing you get no free uncommon one to start the quest, so you have to buy them and just get the rare reward after you finish the quests.
After they censored the Korean version of the game for the US release, the first huge mistake to avoid is buying the game to begin with.
Have they shortened the time it takes to level up? It took me an a friend a very long escrutiating week of terrible levelling about an year ago in Russia
should we break down all the equipment dupes we get while leveling, or simply sell them? should you hang on to the scrap? is it for anything other than vendors?

Something I wish i knew when starting was to receive the rewards in the adventure book...by hitting "N" you'll bring up ur adventure book and in the top left it'll say "receive all". I didn't understand how friends were blasting 10+ Legacy levels ahead of me (im on RU), and by receiving the rewards up there u dont only get the rewards for the zone, but every 10% u also get a massive amount of legacy XP

Ok, so the games been out for a day. And I made a stupid mistake. I seen those feathers in my inventory and didn't know what it was and used 10 of them for nothing...... It wasn't until I finally died when I seen what they were. ALWAYS READ THE DISC BEFORE USING SOMETHING.

Only use flat hp potions when leveling (600, 980, 1560, etc) because at late game, you can have over 60k hp and your 2k hp potion wont do jack shit to help when its a mere 5% of your hp. Also, hp pots are probably expensive to make.
4:32 im NA - ilv900 player, are there any guilds actually active here? I tried 5 different guilds among the ones that don't ask you for a character over 1300 ilv and all i found were guild full of alts and max 3 players online, no one uses the guild chat...The game itself, at least at the moment I'm in, might as well be an offline rpg and it wouldn't make much of a difference...
I'm having a BLAST with Lost ark so far. It's easily the best combat I've experienced in an MMO. I was mainly playing ESO before starting this game and the combat alone is a HUUUUGE upgrade

With regard to the side quest vs no side quest argument....there isn't one...do the side quests....9 times out of 10 they take right into the area of the main quest and have you kill the same enemies you have to for the main quest...its legit free lol I cant count how many times I took a side quest and then a min later realized that I completed it without even trying....do the GD side quests....also alot of the side quests are roster bound...meaning once they are done on one character they are done on all characters...also also alot of the time the side quests lead to more side quests that have much better rewards including SKILL POINT POTIONS!!!! Do them....do the GD side quests

What this guy is missing in his videos about this game is this:>> You can't do shit in this game without activating a quest first. So if you need to kill a random miniboss you need a quest for it.. or if you want to do a dungeon of some sort.. you got it.. you need to activate a damn quest for it.. and so on.. Anything that you do in this game is quest related one way or another... not to mention the economy sistem that have dozens of dozens of curencies related to specific items or on how to activated a specific (you got it) QUEST. So.. if you want my advice.. DON'T play this game.. even if is free.. that is actualy PAY to WIN.
1. Stop telling people to skip the side quests. Even if you're just trying to get to end game the side quests are a good source of exp (and other resources like hidden dungeon scrolls), they don't take very long to complete and most of them tell you to go where you're already going anyway.
2. Do the hidden dungeons! The first one in Loghill gave me a legendary ring and the next one I did (idr where) gave me a ring and earrings. So if you want some good early stat boosts do the hidden dungeons. They also don't take very long as they're just a boss fight and then you leave.
Wait what? "nedds a little longer to kill the mobs like the Gunlancer"? Dude, I play Gunlancer Main and am most of the Time first or second in dmg/kills... Biggest downside of this class is only movement - an maybe scattered single mobs

That was false info, they are not finite. You have dailies you can unlock to get them. If you really want to die a lot, you can do those dailies on like 10 alts to stack a ton of feathers.

Man, I dislike the terms 'casual' and 'hardcore'.
I play games as I have the time and I come and go as I please, but that does not mean I am oblivious to min-maxing or caring about how well I am doing. I can play a game 'casually' and also strive for the best gear and equipment. I do not care how fast I get something done so long as it gets done and the end result is the same, but that does not mean I do not care about winning, lol.

I've accidently skipped the prolong guidea after using my speed-pass on one of my alts and I later found out that I missed on osme cool skins i really wanted to get. How can I "unskip" the prolong guide and continue where I left off?
Regarding the Tip about the crafting Tools: i Just reached that point today, but the guide quest required me to equip a Tool, before rewarding me with a blue-tool as reward?

hit 50, spent a day doing islands (got 10 island souls in the day), spent most of my honing materials from the quests on some trash blue gear instead of the set gear from the Abyssal Dungeons. /cry
I've already lost 10+ guardian raid loots including first kills on alts because its the only thing in game you have to loot. Piss poor system and borderline infuriating how wasteful it is.
