I have a '24 Accord EX-L and am consistently seeing 50-55 mpg in mixed driving with drive mode always set to "Normal". I don't floor it to get to speed and normally drive 5 over the speed limit. I love this car... road trips are very comfortable and relaxing.

EXL is what I would buy!
I own hybrid touring. These mpg is based on slow speed (lower than 78) without ac. Actual city is right is about 42-51mpg. But highway is about 22-41mpg. If you drive slow like monk in highway you get 41-45mpg. But if you drive fast enoguh like 80mph even more, than mpg gets cray z low like 22-29mpg.

I LOVE my 2023 Accord hybrid sport! I've noticed if you use cruise control you get better mileage. We live in the country and my back and forth to town is about 20 miles and I get around 50 mpg. I was really surprised to find I get close to that even on the highway, and I'm sort of a speed demon, going 75-80 most of the time. It takes just a tank to make the 500 mile round trip to see my grandkids, so I'm able to visit more often. I love it and have a feeling I know what my next car will be too!❤❤❤

Thank you for the review. Great numbers for a car with 19's! In winter I get 46 average in a 22 EX-L and summer around 51. What everyone has to remember is climate temp, terrain and whether you stay in the blue eco area on the "tach" are huge influences to the overall MPG. If I was in a flat area I could easily get another 5mpg out of the car.

Highway is much better than they rated it in my experience. I always stay 70 or under highway.
Just put it un cruise control if you arent stopping constantly and it eill do better than rated most the time
Those are some impressive MPG numbers. I have the same car and I only average between 32-35 mpg, what a difference! Wonder if its just how I drive or what
I drive these with the cruise on 90% of the time and accelerate and decelerate using the cruise +/- except when entering and exiting the interstate. That is probably the difference. I do that so my foot is not overly accelerating reducing the mpg. This Accord though, has the BEST Hybrid system I have driven so far. Next is Hyundai Hybrids...I didn't care for Toyota's system
Would driving in Econ mode help to raise the MPG more?
Most likely, but I want to provide MPG with what most people do in their cars. Get in and go...type thing. Other channels provide "Best Possible MPG" , not Real World
Yes. Driving in ECON mode gives you slightly better MPG. I drive my 2024 onky in ECON mode a d I hypermile. I get 55 to 60 MPG standard. As long as I am driving in the city and on a freeway with maximum posted speed of 60 mph.

What was the approx battery fill when you started ?
It always maintains it between 75% to 25% the best that I could see from the week of driving it. Never went to completely full or completely empty. I drive in Normal mode also, so whatever you would jump in and go with.

@@tdot8146sport mode brings it much higher by charging it, but sacrifices mpg in the process. But then you can use ev mode to gain some mpg back
I have a '21 Accord Touring 2.0T that I absolutely love. As impressive as these fuel economy numbers are on the new Accord Hybrid, I still prefer the power mine offers over the miles per gallon of the newer model. I'm disappointed that Honda didn't offer the 2.0T engine option with the new body style. Nice car, just not for me.
Yes, power or efficiency...it's all about what is important to you. I would choose 50 more hp for 10mpg less
I have a 2024 Accord Touring Hybrid. I love it. It’s such a beautiful car from every angle. So elegant and sexy. I’m averaging between 42 and 46 mpg. I have no complaints about the power and acceleration, and I’ve owned some really fast cars. I love the instantaneous torque delivering 247 ft lbs from 0 rpm to 4500 rpm, no lag in power. I love the power combined with the mpg’s. I’m impressed. I owned the previous generation Accord with the 2.0T; I loved the power for sure. What I didn’t like was mediocre mpg’s. Though, the power was great, that engine had more turbo lag than I liked. I found this annoying at times, especially when flooring it from a standstill; it would struggle trying to put the power down, with lots of wheel spin and axle tramp. I was pleasantly surprised when I test drove this car; she took right off fasttt- great torque, no lag. I was also surprised about the transmission. It feels like a traditional automatic. I was shocked. The new Accord had me sold as soon as I pulled off the dealers lot for the test drive.
Hybrid is literally 1 second slower in 1/4 mile & 0 - 60 vs 2.0T. Which is almost no differance😂 🤡. I’ll take my 50 mpg over turbo lag any day
Interstate driving 80 mph will show the bottom end of hwy miles 😂
I've learned staying at around 65mph on highway does best. Use to drive a few hundred miles twice a week on hills n that kept me around 45-52mpg
