    BE AWARE - Chiropractic adjustments most serious risk is damage to arteries in the NECK, such as the vertebral or carotid arteries, which can lead to a STROKE. This is rare but serious, with studies estimating an occurrence of 1 in 20,000 to 1 in 1 million adjustments.

    I suffer from neck tension and dizziness the past month. I also was diagnosed with a bit of cervical spondylosis. I can say i feel more relaxed after a physiotherapy, but it can come the next day again suddenly and i feel that I'm passing out! Raised tension, heartbeats, tingling, trembling, shaking, etc come all in once to last for some minutes. Then the body slightly calms down but it really sucks. Really looks like a heart attack or stroke is on the way, it feels freaking bad 👎 😫 Could be a combination of a cervical disorder and a panic attack, but it's the worst thing ever happened to me.

    • @Alignwc
      @Alignwc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You could be right on. You can have a cervical spine disorder and panic attacks. And usually cervical spine disorder can cause panic attacks. Physiotherapy will be helpful, but getting to the cause of the problem. A corrective chiropractor will help you with that. Let me know where you are and I will help you find one.

      @@Alignwc i appreciate your answer. Unfortunately, i don't live there, I'm too far from there (Albania, SW Europe). My physiotherapist has studied and worked for many years in Canada (that's what he says). An old man over 60, but seems a professional. Anyway, I'm waiting to do a MRI after a couple of weeks to see what's really going on to my cervical spine or head (hopefully nothing serious)

    Dear Dr. Gregg, I am currently going to chiropractic adjustment sessions. I have had 3. Ive been suffering from dizzy spells - unstable feeling on my feet. Id like to ask how long does it usually take to heal with these adjustments? My chiropractor couldnt tell me exactly. But he says it definitely stems from my neck. after the first adjustment I experienced a big relief, but then ive become very tired next day, every time I go (3times now) I need to rest totally. and generally I am very very tired now. I was told this is because the body needs to adjust to the adjustment. Can I also speed up the recovery? currently I cannot sit up for longer than 5-10 minutes in the right position. Very tiring. Also, when shall I start to strengthen those weak neck muscles? I really appreciate your tips, as Ive been struggling for years. Thank you so much!!!!!

    • @Alignwc
      @Alignwc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It sounds like you are right on track. If you spinal cord has been compressed or stretched for years by your spine, this initial release from the adjustments is making major change and your body needs to recover. If you have been like that for years, these first few days are just the beginning. It sounds like you Doctor is doing great. Can you tell me how you are seeing! This is going to take some time. Your health is a journey. You will get there.
