Bad experience...the wig literally fell apart in just a matter of a couple of months. How do you think they hold up overall in comparison to other brands? Also, I'm not a fan of heat friendly. My Jon Renau heat friendly...just in a couple of washings....clumped up and I ended up throwing the wig away. How do you think her heat friendly compares to Jon Renau's fibers?

So glad you recommended not trimming! I was planning on doing this to my new Real Deal! Whew! I love everything about this cap! I don't know why wiv makers still make them with those metal bra straps. That metal is so uncomfortable. I would think it's cheaper too, in terms of materials! I think she’s going to be my new favorite wig. Except of course, some with the new fun fashion colored numbers. 🤣🤣🤣

I ❤️ this color on you. A little darker than your normal which makes it look so natural. The exact same color as your eyebrows. I’ve been having problems feeling comfortable in my wigs this week. I feel like everything looks like a wig. Any suggestions?
I go through that too....I just feel nothing works! I will try styling them differently...putting a clip in, headband, or just try something different with them ...that usually does it. ;)
Well that is very sweet! I wish I did have that perfect wig wearing head...haha! The back of my head is very flat, so I do have to secure them on with either a wig grip, or some It Stays adhesive or they'll slip up and off. :( Thank you for your very kind words, and thank you for watching today!
Great review as usual! Regarding the lighter front, I may be wrong but I'm thinking... super light front equals no dark knots which equals that look of hair growing right out of your head that we all love! Thanks for all you do Jill :)
Hi Cynthia! Yes, that is why they do it....I don't care for it and feel the effect can still be natural weaving in some other darker shades that are in the piece. Jon Renau does the opposite, and I wish he would weave some of the lighter shades into his hairline. We are never satisified! haha!
@@JillLynnBeautyTherapy Lol No we are not! But, you can always apply some darker root touch up powder to random hairs across that hairline. I've seen you do it with "shadowing" and thought that looked really good! < Show idea! > LOL Either way, I think you wear them all beautifully!
I've watched your reviews for some time now, and I finally got brave enough to start the wig journey. I started with two Toni Brattin wigs. I quickly realized the blonde shades looked best .I did not like the gold tones. I think I'm ready for a Jon Reneau lace front now. I can't decide on the color yet because I always forget the colors . My complexion is very similar to yours, so it has definitely been beneficial watching all your tips about the wigs and the skin. I only wish they looked as good on me!

She's expensive, but she checks all the boxes, taking care of every issue that has made me uncomfortable in wigs. I ordered today and can't wait to play!!!
Definitely sort of an edgier version Straight Up With a Twist, Jill. I have nice perspective of this color in your lighting here. Like it! SS Cappuccino is my fav RW color so I do think I'd like this one just fine. I am on the other side of the fence on the HF fibers , for the most part. I think they look sort of like dirty hair and they tend to look stiffer around the bottom on straight styles, they don't "flow" like regular synthetics. They may work better on wavy styles, but I don't have any of those, only two SUWAT pieces in 12/22SS. I don't completely avoid them, but I actually prefer regular synthetics, though I do not wear light blondes which are pretty much always a tad more shiny than is natural. TressAllure and Henry Margu's Mane Attraction lines have very natural looking synthetics. Real Deal is a cute style on Taz and on Marlene and now, on you!
Has anyone seen a review of "In Charge" by RW? I think Jill would wear her beautifully, but probably too much pizazz for me. Taz posted a review this am.
I think it will be a great transition into Fall too! I think I am actually more of a neutral since I don't seem to feel or look my best on either end of the spectrum. ;) (super warm or super cool)

This new wig looks great on you. The color is very pretty. I got my first wig in late February. I had a lady at Church ask me why I was wearing a wig - just last week. I lost my confidence and have not had a wig on for days. This lady has her own beauty salon so I'm thinking I might have looked awful in my wig. Sad for me.
Hi Denise. I find that some salon stylists are very good at detecting wigs since they are in the business of “hair”. The same thing happened to me, but I had let my wig get a bit too ratty at the back so she detected it. Don’t give up on wigs. The key thing for me was to find the right color and right density (not too pouffy) and then even my friends couldn’t tell the difference!! Take care!😊
I have been a JR girl since I started wearing wigs... especially the California blonde collection but I recently got a Raquel Welch wig and oh my gosh! The fit, style and as you mentioned the scalp line design she has is on point! You can wear your hair up and away from your face and it looks so natural!!

Both Hairuwear (Raquel Welch) and Jon Renau have wig aerosol spray. They don't hold as firm as spray for human hair, but they work well.
Jill I used low temp hot glue on the inside of my toni bratin wig and it truly helps the wig to stay in place.

super pretty..i like to use dry shampoo spray to help with the shine in a synthetic wig.
You can buy aerosol spray bottles. I love them. Dawn and mr clean (I believe) now sell their product in the aerosol spray bottles.

This new wig looks great on you. The color is very pretty. I got my first wig in late February. I had a lady at Church ask me why I was wearing a wig - just last week. I lost my confidence and have not had a wig on for days. This lady has her own beauty salon so I'm thinking I might have looked awful in my wig. Sad for me.
Hi Denise. I find that some salon stylists are very good at detecting wigs since they are in the business of “hair”. The same thing happened to me, but I had let my wig get a bit too ratty at the back so she detected it. Don’t give up on wigs. The key thing for me was to find the right color and right density (not too pouffy) and then even my friends couldn’t tell the difference!! Take care!😊

I have been a JR girl since I started wearing wigs... especially the California blonde collection but I recently got a Raquel Welch wig and oh my gosh! The fit, style and as you mentioned the scalp line design she has is on point! You can wear your hair up and away from your face and it looks so natural!!
