I have a 2017 Chevy V6 single cab and I have been wanting to put a muffler on it but I thought that because my truck is V6 it would be useless but after seeing this video I think I am convinced and I have decided to order one of those. ... I love the sound brother. I've got a 2018 aswell, beefed up a bit. I've gone on the website you recommended and noticed some fine print that said "this kit will only work on a 1 piece driveshaft" Does 2018 4.3 come stock with a 1 piece? Also, how is this thing on the highway at high RPM? Does it still have the deep v8 sound? Have you disabled the AFM for full time v6 cause I'm curious to know what happens when the engine turns into V4 mode? Last question how does it sound in cab? Is it obnoxious when your driving down the highway or does the cab mute it fairly well? Sorry for all my question, I would really appreciate it if you could answer them as good as possible, I can't find many reviews online, and want as much info as possible before dishing out this kind of change! Thank you in advance
I had a muffler shop install it for about $100. They had to cut it but everything fit perfectly. Still sounds good on the hwy but definitely sounds like a v6 at higher rpms. Mine is an ls model and doesn't have the option to switch to v4.
It’s Chevy I just got a 18 Silverado v6 like yours 2wd and have had issues with the stability track it ended up being a ground wire and other than that my front end needed replaced also and now dealing with the truck being sluggish and hot trans temps but other than that been fine but Chevy has definitely lacked in quality
I've since traded that truck in and had a gmc canyon with the 3.6, great truck, traded that in for a full size crew cab silverado with the h.o. 2.7 turbo and have about 10k miles on that one. Best truck I've owned so far. I have it for 2 more years on the lease so we'll see how it holds up.
DesertDRZ i took the exhaust off right after the cats but im not sure which cats i actually have left lol, most of them are gone so the truck is really loud, you cant tell its a v6 until you floor it

Love it, it tows well, I've put dirt bikes in the bed and towed a side by side. No problem. I would highly recommend the pedal commander though.

@@musclecarsdaily3020 Again I think I explained it, I had a local shop do it for me and as a single cab they cut the pipe to fit me it was $150.

It does look nice.. but still a v6.. nothing wrong with that.. just funny how everyone is trying to make em sound like a v8.. it just doesn't happen
I really like the truck as a whole but the drive by part was like driving Mrs. Daisy so i couldnt hear what i was kind of hoping for. JUST SAYING

That muffler sounds like Sh!t and those tire/rims are too small!
