I remember Charlie No Face. My dad actually used him as a boogeyman when I was little. He’d say things like “if you don’t clean your room, Charlie No Face will get you. The only way you can make him go away is if you give him beer and cigarettes. But you’re just a kid, you can’t buy beer and cigarettes so you’re out of luck.” I didn’t know he was real until I was 18 and asked my dad where he came up with Charlie no face, only for him to say he was real. Everyone I knew has parents who used him as a boogeyman, which makes me feel even more bad for the guy.

Another inconsistency with the "Family Gathering" photo is that there's way too much extra space to the left and above the family so as to obviously make room for the ghostly figure. If the father was just taking a photo of the four family members why wouldn't it be centered? It's like it was intentionally taken to be altered.
That was my first thought too. The original creator wasn't even *attempting* to make it seem real, just the jackasses who took grabbed it later and wanted to get some views by making up horseshit.

15:54 the big tell for me about this one, is if the father wanted to photo the women and kids, they would be centered in the image; but instead they are offset to the side to make room for the 'unseen figure' to fit.
Believe it or not, but my father actually met no face Charlie. My dad grew up in Pittsburgh and heard of the legend. Him a couple of his buddies went to see if he was real. My dad heard of the road he usually walked at night and actually found him with his buddies and they gave him a beer. They actually sat around and talked for a while and Charlie actually thanked my dad and his friends for the beer. My dad said he was super nice and that they had a great conversation.
My dad met Charlie no face back when he was a wee lad, my dad had beer but Charlie busted out a fat weed joint, charlie said "why drink and drive, when you could smoke and fly" they got high all night and Charlie later grabbed his ass and my dad awkwardly left without saying a word and never saw Charlie again....

The first mystery image of the girl with the astronaut can solved if you darken the image, revealing that the figure behind the girl is her mother in a blue dress.
Sounds like bullshit just like the video. Perhaps there are just things you don't understand? Why wouldn't he show that then? It takes two seconds to realize that's not a woman's frame and to see there is opacity in the supposed moon that's behind her apparently... not to mention the details below the neck
It hasn't been debunked, so you're free to believe there is some mystery to this case. Lots of people make those claims, yet it's only a theory. Why would there be lace from the hat behind the head when those old fashioned hats always had the lace in the front? They were only worn on holidays and special occasions like in church on Easter or at a funeral, not some small family outing in a field. I know that much because I'm old enough to remember. It still doesn't add up.
@@alwilson3204it’s the mom walking away. The darker part that looks like a visor is actually the back of the mothers head and her gray hair. When you develop a photo, it brightens up, sometimes too much, if you darken the photo a bit, you can see she is wearing a blue dress. Debunked 🤷♂️

"Charlie No Face" sounded like he was one amazing person. People taking him for a ride & dropping him off far away from home was just cruel. That just broke my heart. Bless his beautiful soul ✨🤍
I will point out that a picture doesn't itself have to be fake for the story attached to it to be fake. I can take a picture of someone who knowingly agreed to be in a photo and angle it a certain way so their presence seems off and say "this person wasn't there when I took the photo, spOoOoOoooOoOoky". That's a lie, but it can make the photo more interesting. People do it all the time on Instagram for clicks, "I accidentally took this photo of me posing in a perfect photogenic way" and usually people call them out for bullshitting.
That's how people think in modern times today. Back in those days, I feel people would have been more thrilled if the story was paranormal, and hence would want to hear that version only
I think people are spooked by the first picture because even if it was faked by the lab, it was such a weird thing to put in the background. Almost like it's hard for any person to come up with something so bizarre.
one of the boys in the "Family Gathering" photo (who is about 60 now) came out with some more photos of him and his brother in the same room. He said that his mother had a habit of misplacing photos, which is likely how it left the family's possession. He said that the original version of it was in color and he remembers seeing it at a young age. He's invested in the mystery as well because he'd like to see that photo again unaltered.
@@peterframtid5168 Look for the incident involving Andreas Probst for instance. The per ps were Jesus Ayala and Jzamir Keys, their demographics are exactly what any normal person would expect.
I appreciate that you actually explain how these photos were fake or why they exist instead of leaning into the "it could be real" aspect, that a lot of other compilation channels do.
I agree with the most recent theory about Solway Firth Spaceman: it's the wife (that's clearly someone from behind)... Jim wasn't focused on what was _behind_ his daughter, but was focused on her, and older cameras' viewfinders weren't in perfect alignment with the actual lens.
I went back and forth to look at the picture of his wife and look at the picture of the spaceman. And she's not wearing long sleeves so what her skin get contrasted too. And look how broad that person's shoulders are there huge that's not the same person. 50 years and they couldn't figure out what I figured out in 50 seconds.
Couldn't it be the old woman, as mentioned that there were two old women who were at the corner of the grassland?? Like how the heck noone sees this coming, it must be old woman standing on back and it's her hair seen above the girl's face...
That would be neat to have and go to gettysburg. I didnt and did believe then I went there and had pics that showed just odd things that was not there in specific areas. Ive had something tug on me. Which I thought was my father but he wasnt near me. Just odd.
@@Deadly_Potato888I remember hearing when I was younger that it was just a regular family photo and as soon as it was taken a body suddenly fell through hanging from the ceiling just as the shot was being taken. Creeped me out.
Fun fact: if you use google street view for 112 ocean ave in amityville, the house is blurred out, and you can't continue down the road, even though it obviously does continue. You can turn around and continue on ocean ave, or turn onto ireland pl
Oh yeah I remember hearing about that. I heard the explanation being that the current owners (or at least the ones at that time) were sick of people constantly invading their privacy and asked Google to remove their home from being viewed on Maps. Don’t know if that’s true, but I can’t fully blame them if it is.
The famous windows on the Amityville house were changed to regular square windows (you can see them in the more recent images). The quarter moon windows obviously looked liked glowing eyes at night which was emphasized in the movies about the house. They couldn't open and were poorly insulated, which caused cold spots and the room had poor air circulation. Basically, people felt chills going near the windows and if they spent long periods in the room, they felt light-headed from the poor air circulation.
The distinctive windows also helped nosy tourists and trespassers more easily identify the house when the more recent occupants just wanted to be left alone so that might have something to do with it as well.
0:02 - Why does this image keep popping up in “unsolved photo” videos, when it has literally been solved. That is her mother in the background with her back to the camera, you see the same mother in another photo.
There’s already a comparison on Google that confirms that the “spaceman” is the mother, just like darken the image you can see the figure is in a blue dress and has blonde hair. My question is wouldn’t the mother have came forward and confirm that it was her in the photo?
I mean spend 5 minutes examining the photo and anyone of average intelligence could tell you that that's someone, her mother, facing away from the camera
Thank you for introducing me to the story of Raymond Robinson, which I had never heard of before. More than the creepy ghost story it became, it really is an inspiring story of a man dealt a really bad hand, but who was able to make the most of his life regardless.
Raymond was known as THE GREEN MAN!!! he was a really cool dude too .. my dad and his friends used to go search for him in the Pittsburgh area and drink with him back in the day💯
I’ve seen vets in pretty hideous conditions due to burns and/or lot of surgery. You’d be surprised how many strangers are outright cruel to them because they don’t look normal.
The one picture of "The Green Man" is a real one of Raymond Robinson, born near Pittsburgh (where I live). He went out for long walks at night because of an extreme electrical accident that severely disfigured his face when he was 8 in fear of alarming the public. When people went looking for him, he often hid but posed for photographs and short conversations for cigarettes and beer. He was struck by a car more than once but continued his walks and died in 1985 at a retirement center. Such a mad lad who enjoyed his life by walking peacefully at night despite the deck of cards he was dealt.
That last photo (Family Gathering) has actually been around since the 1970's. I used to own a book called something like "1st Armada Book of True Ghost Stories" which included this photo. I'm not saying it's not a hoax but it's not a recent photoshop.
i saw it in an unsolved mysteries book in the 80s and it still scares me just the imagery if this blank face and tore up hands like a corpse just hanging and this is an image ive had relatives speak of in rl not picture like finding a body in a tree in a spooky night and that it is old and even the ppl who took the picture dont seem too sure of if its fake or not makes me wonder just as it did back then and probably always will and until someone shows some valid this is a hoax proof then im convinced that house had a ghost
Thank you for including the backstory and childhood of Raymond Robinson. Too often, people just share the photo and give little to no background on it.
Re: the haunted Cooper family photo: the thing about it that makes it look fake to me is the composition. Why would the father be taking a photo with the four of them off-centered like that?
@HarryKaneFromFortnite??? Decor doesn't always need colours to look nice? The candles and the candle rack in the photo are pretty and ornate so that's probably why they were included
It could have also been an accident. I used to take pictures with old cameras when I was a kid and the result was terrible very often. I'm not saying that it's not a hoax, but the sloppy focus is explainable I think.
The ‘Solway Firth Spaceman’ has been debunked for many years. As the narrator said, it’s Jim’s wife, with her back to the camera. She’s wearing a headscarf (often not mentioned) and dress, her hands on her hips, her arms slightly bend at the elbow. His wife is shown in one of the other photos taken at the time, but often not shown in past news stories and more recent TH-cam videos like this of the ‘incident’, so credit to this channel for doing so. There was no spaceman, nothing supernatural, just a coincidence which he capitalised on for years, receiving a fair amount of money from journalists I should imagine, and notoriety, knowing the truth the whole time. I bet he was amused how many people fell for his story.
Pretty sure there was a tv show I watched a few years back that recreated the photo if it was the wife and their version looks almost identical to the original.
That is a blatant lie. The photo captured one of the eluding PDFes stalking the Earth for children. The spaceman suit is an invisibility cloak. As you can see on the picture the family had a cute girl and that predator tried to nab her.
@Varangian_af_Scaniae if you're being serious, I can debunk that just by saying, how or why on earth would the dad not mention that someone tried to abduct or do something to his daughter??? (I assume you're being silly, but shit gets weirder all the time with the stuff people believe)
The story of Raymond Robinson was really heartbreaking tbh. Hearing that people saw a disabled man and made fucking ghost stories about him sickens me. @@shawnmaria9064 I had a girlfriend that did that to a guy once. He was kind of mentally disabled, not sure exactly what was wrong with him but he had very little understanding of social cues. She pretended to be his girlfriend to make him do all sorts of embarrassing stuff and basically just bullied him with her other friends. One night she went on a "date" with him in some park pretty far away. She asked him to take off his pants for her which he was obviously happy to do, then her friends came out and grabbed the pants and they all jumped in a car and drove away leaving him to walk home alone in his underwear. The really weird thing was that he never turned on her after she would do these things. Like the very next day she would just talk to him and apologize for what her friends did, and he just continued falling for the same kind of stuff over and over like he had no idea she was in on it. The whole idea of "there was noone there when I took the photo" makes no sense. Why would a ghost/spirit, a psychic / spiritual entity, be undetectable by a living person, but still react chemically with some silver nitrate in a box?
The theory is chemicals can detect things human eyes cannot. And it leads to being able to photograph it. Like the photo of the black hole. A naked eye cannot see one, but with the right science and camera, we can now look at one.
@tsubakiofmelancholy6297 yeh but black holes have a lot of math that proves their existence and that pic was made using math . ghosts don't at least as far as im aware

I’m so glad to be a subscriber of this channel, to have these cases presented then debunked is so admirable. You don’t continue to sensationalise these things, and you value the truth. Very satisfied.
An immediate red flag about the falling body picture is that if it was taken with the expectation of there being nothing there, why is the family so far to the right? It's framed to perfectly have the family and the falling body in frame.
That falling body photo traumatised child me. Looking at it now, that photo looks like it was taken to add something on the side. Who leaves all that space on the side in a family photo? You centre and fill the frame
When I was younger I had a cd player that would display 2 red dots on the front whenever there was no CD in it. Well I guess I forgot that it did this because when the pig scene happened in the amityville horror I looked over towards my dresser and saw those two red dots. I immediately started screaming which made my best friend freak the hell out. We were both convinced that the weird pig creature was in my room. I swear watching scary movies was so much more fun as a teenager.
Agree. It's still terrifying and disturbing somehow. Even though it doesn't make sense even from a ghost lore point of view: it was a new church on a new site, and there have been no other ghost stories there before or since.
5:04 i just see someone (probably his wife) standing with her back to the camera tbh. Sure, at first it looks like a spacesuit, but if you look a bit better, you see the elbows are pointed towards the camera, so it's probably his wife's back and the dark part looks like it probably is her hair imo
My Dad called Raymond a friend, like others did in his area. He walked up and down the highway in SW Pa, and ppl would give him cigarettes & pop. He was older than my Dad & his siblings, & there wwere differing origin stories, but my Dad made it clear that he was nothing to be afraid of. I think my Dad was more in awe of him, than fear
My thoughts on this video's images: - Solway Firth Spaceman: That's kinda creepy. - Green Man: That story is so sad, but also quite enlightening, as, no matter the hand you're dealt, you can still do great things and be remembered. - Amityville Ghost Boy: While it's not funny about those murders, I do kinda wish there was actual creepy things that happened, as it would be quite interesting, much like the Stanley Hotel. - Falling Body: That dude just fell back into reality from the Backrooms!

The first mystery image of the girl with the astronaut can solved if you darken the image, revealing that the figure behind the girl is her mother in a blue dress.
Sounds like bullshit just like the video. Perhaps there are just things you don't understand? Why wouldn't he show that then? It takes two seconds to realize that's not a woman's frame and to see there is opacity in the supposed moon that's behind her apparently... not to mention the details below the neck
whoever found that solution should get a Nobel prize and a scholarship to Harvard.
never in a million years would i figure out that darkening the image was proof that it's the mother

Yh
The astronaut picture gave me the strangest chills when I was younger. It just feels so out of place, like it shouldn’t exist, even if it is a hoax.

YES oh my god. People will really believe anything.
Lol
That's how people think in modern times today. Back in those days, I feel people would have been more thrilled if the story was paranormal, and hence would want to hear that version only
I think people are spooked by the first picture because even if it was faked by the lab, it was such a weird thing to put in the background. Almost like it's hard for any person to come up with something so bizarre.

one of the boys in the "Family Gathering" photo (who is about 60 now) came out with some more photos of him and his brother in the same room. But who were the people at the Australian missile launch?
I went back and forth to look at the picture of his wife and look at the picture of the spaceman. And she's not wearing long sleeves so what her skin get contrasted too. Fun fact: if you use google street view for 112 ocean ave in amityville, the house is blurred out, and you can't continue down the road, even though it obviously does continue. You can turn around and continue on ocean ave, or turn onto ireland pl
Also, they changed the address of the house from 112 to 108 Ocean Ave
That happens in lots of locations. Google street view is full of glitches.
Oh yeah I remember hearing about that. I heard the explanation being that the current owners (or at least the ones at that time) were sick of people constantly invading their privacy and asked Google to remove their home from being viewed on Maps. Don’t know if that’s true, but I can’t fully blame them if it is.
@Polyeurythane I mean you probably shouldn't move into an incredibly famous house and expect privacy

He said that in the video too.

The whole idea of "there was noone there when I took the photo" makes no sense. Why would a ghost/spirit, a psychic / spiritual entity, be undetectable by a living person, but still react chemically with some silver nitrate in a box?
The theory is chemicals can detect things human eyes cannot. And it leads to being able to photograph it. Like the photo of the black hole. A naked eye cannot see one, but with the right science and camera, we can now look at one.

I swear, that 'alien' always reminded me of 'Starman' from the 'Earthbound' video games.
Omg same! I'm so glad to finally see someone else mention that haha 😁
Same
Earthbound mentioned wtf is a bad game👾🚀🔊🔥💥🔥💥👾🚀🔊🔥💥👾🔥💥👾🔥💥🔥🔥💥🔥💥🔥🔥🔥

That Charlie no face person... It's just so sad that happened... And that some people have done cruel thing to him, he's a burn Victim, and I feel so bad for him... Poor guy just wanted to live his life
The picture of the hanging body is older than 2009; it appeared in the “urban legends: ghosts” video created by jkcinema and hosted by ebaumsworld years before (02-06 ish)
You are 100 percent correct about the Amityville ghost boy. It clearly shows someone wearing glasses.
Raymond was a fvckin real one for taking all the abuse just to avoid scaring people. Respect to the poor man
I love how well balanced the content on this channel is presented. I get a thrill from the super natural but deeply respect perspectives that adopt a more pragmatic approach to sharing these stories and materials!
That ad-sneak was cheeky af
Love these kinds of videos and also your narration is easy listening so I appreciate that lol. Side note Shrouded Hand has a short video about the first story about the space man, where he just talks about that photo of you're interested
the guy hanging from the ceiling terrified me as a child!! still terrifies me a little tbh hahah
In regards to Raymond Robinson, much like in fiction, the true monsters are the ones who torment others. Like Frankenstein or Beauty and the Beast.
17:28 HOLY SHIT ITS SHELDON AND THE BROTHER OR WHATEVER! I AM LITERALLY TRANSCENDING.
Love this channel ❤ happy Easter everyone!
I’m so glad to be a subscriber of this channel, to have these cases presented then debunked is so admirable. You don’t continue to sensationalise these things, and you value the truth. Very satisfied.

Squidward: "And then the walls WILL OOZE GREEN SLIME?!...Oh wait, they always do that"
I love how you actually tell the stories behind them and not be like ooo look creepy
aw what's the matter, your little weak sensibilities can't handle actual mysteries? you need everything spoonfed to you no matter how bs it is? lol
@@daleva187goligo lmfaoo you got a problem
An immediate red flag about the falling body picture is that if it was taken with the expectation of there being nothing there, why is the family so far to the right? It's framed to perfectly have the family and the falling body in frame.
15:00 I almost burst out laughing, the explanation is so simple oh my god.
I feel so bad for Raymond man, hope hes having fun in heaven
Subscribed. I watched a couple of videos and your dissecting of these photos is a lot more interesting than the stories people make up about them.
Thanks for the laugh.
@@Largo-y No worries, I’m glad that someone other than myself thought it was funny.
the picture that scared me most as a kid was "The Spectre of Newby Church" it was in a book about ghosts I had and it scared the poop out of me
Agree. It's still terrifying and disturbing somehow. Even though it doesn't make sense even from a ghost lore point of view: it was a new church on a new site, and there have been no other ghost stories there before or since.
Yes!
5:04 i just see someone (probably his wife) standing with her back to the camera tbh. Sure, at first it looks like a spacesuit, but if you look a bit better, you see the elbows are pointed towards the camera, so it's probably his wife's back and the dark part looks like it probably is her hair imo
Cooper Falling Body-photo is MUCH older than 2009. It was at featured in the legendary "urban legends" video from like 2003.
1:32 That’s just an old woman standing while her back facing towards the camera.
It's head is turned around face is towards its back
I had a 110 camera when I was young, it would always malfunction and I would get double exposed photographs. Some of them were pretty cool.
People were beyond cruel to Raymond. RIP Ray

My thoughts on this video's images:
- Solway Firth Spaceman: That's kinda creepy.
