💯Thanks! Have searched for this, before I comment on it myself. When a family member is afraid/anxious and says it repeatedly, only to be met with laughter and ignorance, it makes me sad. That is damaging to their/her development in the long term. If the mother provoked/staged it just to share a video of it, it makes me angry. Greetings from Germany 🌻 I used Google translate
Yeah she doesn't deserve those kids, who laughs at their kids while they're terrified? The sister laughed at her must have learned it from the mother, who coincidentally was laughing the whole time.
I heard on the first video, their dad had a scary mask on and was in one of the windows, in the laundry room and scared them. The mom was in on the scary prank, obviously
What i really like about Chilling Scares is that you really take things for what they are or seem to be. No clickbaits, legit alternative explanations and not trying to force believes into people. Subbed and liked!
The Deerpark one was a prank as part of a school project. That's my old school and although I had long graduated by the time they did this, my younger brother was there at the time (I can see him doing the mannequin challenge at around 7:36)
This is honestly so nostalgic. I saw most of these yeeeeears back when I was a kid/teen super obsessed with paranormal stuff. Seeing them again after so long and having them debunked is genuinely fun.
About "ghost in hotel" video. It was basically Turner uploading video as Jimmynut22,Turner voicing security manager and Turner playing character of John. So Turner talked to himself, recorded himself and uploaded him self as 3 different people.
They've played a lot of known faked/debunked videos, or ones with a logical explanation, and passed them off as real. It's why I stopped watching their "creepy footage" countdowns.
Also, one thing to point out is at 5:58, there is a weird black object thingy behind the locker that's near the door, which suggests that it was seemingly used to make the wet floor sign to flip.
With the first video, the laughing could be nervous laughter, it's a lot of people's reaction to stress is laughter. Not saying that the video is supernatural, just that it would be a pretty understandable response to a situation like that
Na it’s a little girl this only happens to older people because they are aware of what happening. a little girl or boys reaction would be cry because they don’t know what they seen.
Are you talking about the mom? She doesn't even try to comfort the girls or get up to see what they're seeing though, it seems pretty unnatural unless she already knew something
@@mikea5817 shit I thought he was talking about the girls but the mom seemed to know what was going on because why would you start recording out of nowhere
@mikea5817 Maybe, but not all moms are the same. If there was something paranormal going on, the confusion and fear might have overcome her comforting instinct. Not really sure what's going on, not really sure if you should be comforting or protecting. But, the video is most likely fake due to the other evidence
I could never make my kids or nieces/nephews feel fear to the point of screaming like that. Stupid prank by stupid adults. Imagine what other things they could be doing to those kids for laughs or worse. Adults who do things like that to children aren’t good parents #sorrynotsorry

It makes the younger among us feel old when gen alpha kids are not only using the internet in earnest but also talking about having nostalgia for things from 5 years ago. It's a never ending cycle. As I see it, you're only as old as you wanna be. It's all in how you present yourself. Just never reference anything ever and you'll be stealth.
There was another “paranormal” video making rounds around that time. It showed a young woman standing in front of a mirror, being filmed by another person who wasn’t captured in the frame. The woman’s laughing for a while then suddenly her face in the mirror turns into those pale, white ghost lookalikes. The woman turns her head around but the ghost face in the mirror remains static, followed by a scream. If I find that video, I’ll link it here
I'm not saying it's real and maybe I don't have enough knowledge regarding these things, but maybe it was actually zoomed? Since they said that people complained about noise, maybe they zoomed to have a more clear image of what was going on. Plus, they also show different angles.
I’d love to see this as a whole series, as there’s tons of old paranormal footage online that can be given clearer explanations. Maybe the next video can even have that famous “kitchen poltergeist” video
Ghost 1: “What did you say?!” Ghost 2: “I said cod piece face!” Ghost 1: “What did you say?!” Ghost 2: “I said cod piece face!” Ghost 1: “What did you say?!” Ghost 2: “I said cod piece face!” “Quick, pick me up before this woman farts again!”

I adore how you catch these fakes. I want you to do more click baits like these fakes you discover. I know, I watch paranormal/ghost videos. 90% are fake, and the other 10% are just hard to explain, and it is up to you to decide, as always. Keep the hunt, please, mate. I love this kind of video: discovering fake videos.

He missed the huge point in the first clip. The "Angel" is actually the name of the person who uploaded the video lol. So most likely they are their dad or someone
The first one is probably real, in that the girls reaction is real, but whatever scared them is a prank, as you detailed. It still freaks me out, kids being put in any harms way, even if it is fake harm, makes me feel uncomfortable. They don't deserve that ):
This is giving me John Wolfe vibes. Love it ❤ love debunkings of these obvious fake videos that make legitimate strange (not necessarily ghostly) videos seem fake.
Man I love this channel, really original subjects and always interesting spooky videos. This one gave me nostalgia and I’m totally here for it, as someone who’s been interested in paranormal vids on TH-cam since the golden Nukes Top 5 days
I always thought the first video with the two little girls was their reaction to whatever is on the white wall as you enter the kitchen. May have been a real or fake spider. You can see it about even to their eye view but it's not clear enough to tell for sure.
Videos might be re-shared but remember it's a community of TH-camrs committing to eachother in one to keep it going. I support them all I suggest watch them all to keep them paid to keep your guys entertained. Great channel good community of TH-camrs.
I remember that I saw another video of parents "pranking" their kids this way, and I commented the same thing. I was honestly surprised of how many people defended the parents and insulted those that said the videos are in poor taste. Things like "you lack humor, it was funny", or "maybe the kid knew so they all had a laugh", "kids need to be hardened too". Like bruh my blood ran cold when I heard that scream, how do you laugh as a parent, and as an audience think that "it's funny"?😒
Haha yeah, kids love to get scared! It's a normal way of entertaining kids,by scaring the shit out of them and laughing at them while they are hysterically crying!Haha so funny...
I'm glad I was one of the people who saw that these videos were fake from the beginning when I first saw them lol. I'm very skeptical about "ghost stuff"
I really like how you systematically went through each video, showed your research into the background behind it, and clearly gave your theory about how it could have been hoaxed with your evidence. I enjoy reading about and collecting folklore. I'm as interested in the spectrality aspect (why people believe in the supernatural and what they believe is supernatural) as whether or not something is supernatural. It's cool to find out, for example, that something was uploaded as an apparent prank or is connected to a filmmaker of low-budget horror.
@@matrixphijr some things happened to me aswell, and even some unreal one, but it was few years ago, since then nothing more Has happened, but yeah some things are real though unexplainable
Back 10-15ish years ago, I was really big into 'ghost sightings/haunted house stories', so I remember the Illinois hotel ghost video when it was uploaded and randomly stumbling on it. I didn't go into it thinking it was authentic and later Figured out it was pretty much a promotional marketing stunt video for the guy's movie work. I also still recall one specific ghost sighting video I saw on (early) TH-cam that I still find cool because it stuck with me all these years. It's the one of the crying girl in a Mexico cemetery, and when they call out to her, she turns around almost robot-like with glaringly bright white tapetum lucidum. If you know, you know.
Really appreciate this channel. After watching quite a few of Nuke's Top 5, and having them all be duds, along with the cookie cutter dialogue over content he is begging people to send over, it is refreshing to have more people looking into these videos to show why they are not scary, or offering up perfectly plausible explanations.
I always say "i enjoy these videos the same way i enjoy horror movies!" and the crap i got for that was insane. my fav thing was "you clearly have never had something unexplainable happen" And it blows my mind, that a real person who pays taxes and might drive a car cant fathom for a second, they either lack the education on a subject or completely missed something that makes a situation seem indescribable, it has to be a ghost or demon. The leaps in logic are astounding. Its one reason i love the saying "A miracle is only one when observed by someone lacking the knowledge to understand it".
So glad to see a compilation of ghost videos on TH-cam that doesn’t instantly believe theyre all 100% real or that the only other explanation is it’s an “elaborate hoax” because obviously nothing else like piano string and video editing software that anyone could use could be the explanation.
And that's why I love Chilling Scares' channel, all thrse other paranormal channels are boring. They only showcase paranormal videos but 99% are all fake. And before anybody would ask, why would anybody fake videos like that? Well a number of reasons . . . Clout, software editing flex, attention, money, prank . . . Like there's so many reasons why people would go out of their way to fake vids, it happens all the time. Another reason I love Chilling Scares' videos is when he uploads real footage of humans being creepy or doing very strange things, or cover topics like Craigslist postings and showcase very bizarre things, very sus red flags that real humans have said or typed. Dissecting the human brain, we are terrifying and we are real. Ghost videos or UFO videos, more times than not just feel like attention seeking.

For real so frigging mean.
I heard on the first video, their dad had a scary mask on and was in one of the windows, in the laundry room and scared them. The mom was in on the scary prank, obviously
Yup getting a sick joke demonic high off terrifying her daughter intentionally
The style of these videos is absolutely phenomenal. Its like classic TH-cam! And the content itself never gets old. Keep up the good work man!
What i really like about Chilling Scares is that you really take things for what they are or seem to be. No clickbaits, legit alternative explanations and not trying to force believes into people. Subbed and liked!
Check out scary interesting sometime! It’s not spooky content but it super cool and honest. For more spooks check out bizarrebub
You need to make more videos like this! I remember most of these videos and there are so many more that you could do a whole series like this.
That guttural scream from the first video always give me chills. I would burn the house down.
it doesn't matter if they are real or not but watching them at night or day can still give you goosebumps
So true
nahh these are nothing watch some arab ghost hunters
@@fiskars9800 Those have also been debunked. But yeah they defintely know how to make it spooky though ill give them that much
@@NotTheGrimmReaperparanormal is real i experience it before
It does matter but they're still fun lol
The Deerpark one was a prank as part of a school project. That's my old school and although I had long graduated by the time they did this, my younger brother was there at the time (I can see him doing the mannequin challenge at around 7:36)
This is honestly so nostalgic. I saw most of these yeeeeears back when I was a kid/teen super obsessed with paranormal stuff. Seeing them again after so long and having them debunked is genuinely fun.
right !!!!!
About "ghost in hotel" video. It was basically Turner uploading video as Jimmynut22,Turner voicing security manager and Turner playing character of John. So Turner talked to himself, recorded himself and uploaded him self as 3 different people.
I swear, the one in 0:14 was on Travel Channel! In one of the Ghost related shows
They've played a lot of known faked/debunked videos, or ones with a logical explanation, and passed them off as real. It's why I stopped watching their "creepy footage" countdowns.
"Paranormal Caught On Camera". I liked it at first, but then I saw a few that were obviously fake, and I said, "Yeah, I'm out"
Yup
lol “the travel channel” is “all paranormal shows” lol
Also, one thing to point out is at 5:58, there is a weird black object thingy behind the locker that's near the door, which suggests that it was seemingly used to make the wet floor sign to flip.
i am so happy you called these videos out. i have been telling people for years that there are ways people can make chairs move etc
@@Darkiw I was talking about the mom
@@mikea5817 shit I thought he was talking about the girls but the mom seemed to know what was going on because why would you start recording out of nowhere
@mikea5817 Maybe, but not all moms are the same. If there was something paranormal going on, the confusion and fear might have overcome her comforting instinct. Not really sure what's going on, not really sure if you should be comforting or protecting. But, the video is most likely fake due to the other evidence
The most common tool for ghost pranks is a fishing line
2:06 I remeber watching this video uears ago and the way she screamed had always haunted me. Even after knowing it was fake lol.
Little girls have the most ear- splitting screams😅
how do you know its fake
I could never make my kids or nieces/nephews feel fear to the point of screaming like that. Stupid prank by stupid adults. Imagine what other things they could be doing to those kids for laughs or worse.
Adults who do things like that to children aren’t good parents #sorrynotsorry
well her screams are real, that's a real reaction she had to the "prank" so it's understandable that it's hard to listen to
@@thedreadedsyntholbaby763 "Staged" would be more accurated. Clearly the poor girls were scared shitless by their idiotic parents for some internet clout.
I love it when Chilling exposes fake videos. A lot of the stuff that used to creep me the f out as a kid he practically debunked. He's one of the realest TH-camrs out here. He only posts really chilling videos(no pun intended)
I ADORE the fact that you debunk stuff
Is there not a channel that does that? You could debunk literally every paranormal video. Easy content for life
@@peterfyal4998 No, there are more but for a channel that posts so much “weird shit” content and could be lumped into the whole bizzarebub type channels, he goes against that grain and actually stands for the truth. That’s worthy of being commended.
@@2devilbat this is the only one I can watch, it's barely " oh this is definitely real".
Its mostly just "look at this odd thing, what do you think?. Which is fine.
Literally can't stand 2 seconds of the other channels I've come across
I like this. Too many channels do the "this is super spoopy stuff, obviously disturbing, but YOU be the judge! Leave your comment, like and subscribe! Ok, here's another video where someone smells a fart, obviously a ghost farted? You be the fart judge! Comment on why ghosts can/can't toot!"
God it makes me feel so old to hear people say "growing up" and "youtube" in the same sentence lol. I was 21 or 22 before seeing my first youtube video
Haha. Yup. It’s wild! I still remember when TH-cam had 10 minute limit videos, 360p quality, and NO ONE was uploading “content”, just random stuff.
The only thing that should be allowed to age you is time itself, so spend that time feeling as young as you want to be.
If I find that video, I’ll link it here
My man did his research 😂 I love it! I absolutely love watching ghost compilation videos but I take them as entertainment to get a good scare lol
Literally the only horror channel that actually calls out fake videos instead of those who just pedal them
The first vid is easy to explain; looking into the darkness can scare you because of thinking of scary monsters.
Also for the hotel one, why would a security camera be focused on an individual room?
I'm not saying it's real and maybe I don't have enough knowledge regarding these things, but maybe it was actually zoomed? Since they said that people complained about noise, maybe they zoomed to have a more clear image of what was going on. Plus, they also show different angles.
I’d love to see this as a whole series, as there’s tons of old paranormal footage online that can be given clearer explanations. Maybe the next video can even have that famous “kitchen poltergeist” video

I've been watching this channel for a long time and trust me this is one of the most underrated channel on YT in the genre of Horror/Mystery/Supernatural.
00:40 it was staged. Why you shoot your kids not on the center?? It was deliberately wanted you to focus on the next room behind it.
That the first thing I noticed. Why wouldn't you have the camera centered on the kids?
Literally one of the best "horror channels" there is on TH-cam always straight to the point and no BS! (bring back the creepy stories, i loved them)
This was super interesting, it’s sad how many people fake stuff like this for attention. Please make a part 2, 3 and 4.
5:37 - when someone is fighting for their life in The Backrooms in a parallel reality
Chilling Scares is the best horror channel on TH-cam. It is incredible. He doesn't call everything fake immediately, but he doesn't buy into the videos either. Objective.
And he only brings us the best videos. I hardly ever see a dud, and if I do he usually mentions it.
Every other channel has been falling off, but you've been blazing the trail. Keep it up homie
The ease in which people can be fooled makes them even more terrifying
I adore how you catch these fakes. I want you to do more click baits like these fakes you discover. I know, I watch paranormal/ghost videos. 90% are fake, and the other 10% are just hard to explain, and it is up to you to decide, as always. Keep the hunt, please, mate. I love this kind of video: discovering fake videos.
Ghosts are like fake boobs. I know they're not real but I still like watching videos of them.
The first one is easy to debunk.
The mom placed something creepy in the hallway. Then, she set up a camera where she knew her daughters would see it.
I loved this format.. Another great video by Chilling!
man i want to see more and more of these random encounters in abandoned buildings, woods, etc, and i bet that the rest of the community would love to see them more often
You should've posted this video long ago before i got traumatized as a kid.
He missed the huge point in the first clip. The "Angel" is actually the name of the person who uploaded the video lol. So most likely they are their dad or someone
More likely a step parent or family friend or something. Most kids call their dad "dad"
The first one is probably real, in that the girls reaction is real, but whatever scared them is a prank, as you detailed. It still freaks me out, kids being put in any harms way, even if it is fake harm, makes me feel uncomfortable. They don't deserve that ):
I agree idk why people think its funny.
The mom wouldn't even confess she overdid the prank when they were scared for their lives. Horrible parent
This is giving me John Wolfe vibes. Love it ❤ love debunkings of these obvious fake videos that make legitimate strange (not necessarily ghostly) videos seem fake.
Yess. Another Great Compilations. Thanks so much Chilling Scares 🎃❤🎃❤🎃❤🎃
You can see it about even to their eye view but it's not clear enough to tell for sure.
you need more debunking videos like this, this was a 10/10 video
It’s always a better day when Chilling uploads
omg, i love this kind of content!! so glad to see one of my favorite channels doing it and i hope we see more in the future
why do I hear some strange and uplifting music in the background? 😂😂😂😂
Videos might be re-shared but remember it's a community of TH-camrs committing to eachother in one to keep it going. I support them all I suggest watch them all to keep them paid to keep your guys entertained. Great channel good community of TH-camrs.
If you think scaring children and making them cry is funny, you shouldn't ever be a parent -_- heinous behavior.
Especially when they scream and cry like that too. It’s such an awful thing to do, especially to your own children.
Maybe it wasnt a parent but some babysitter?
Yo do more of these debunks, this was great stuff.

Haha yeah, kids love to get scared! It's a normal way of entertaining kids,by scaring the shit out of them and laughing at them while they are hysterically crying!Haha so funny...
Yeah bro childhood trauma is so fun am I right??
This channel makes me realize that people are scarier than paranormal
13:55 looks like a guy walking through the back of the room sipping coffee. So much for being an empty office building lol
It's all for entertainment purposes only

You got me curious, now I wanna know the girl in Mexico lol
Its one reason i love the saying "A miracle is only one when observed by someone lacking the knowledge to understand it".
i think this video puts you on lemmino level of video essays
So glad to see a compilation of ghost videos on TH-cam that doesn’t instantly believe theyre all 100% real or that the only other explanation is it’s an “elaborate hoax” because obviously nothing else like piano string and video editing software that anyone could use could be the explanation.
i love you chilling scares
*_Thank you._* Every "ghost" video needs this level of research and scrutiny.
*That, and common sense.* Which is extremely low supply.
Not sure why he didn’t point out that the uploader of the first video is named “Angel”
Love you're vids man
