In this day and age, there's just no excuse not to use the camera built into your phone to take a picture of a contract whenever possible. We can even scan copies of documents on programs like Adobe Acrobat and have them available to attach to email. Ultimately, we can use our phones for more than random pictures and videos.

There’s this thing called due diligence! If he claims he didn’t think she could afford the place, then it was his responsibility to do his due diligence before signing a lease and taking her money!
