What I love about that black and white kitchen flooring is that your kids are going to have such strong memories of it. Black and white tile will always remind them of the comfort of mama's kitchen even when they're 84
I still remember the checkered floors at my grandparents from when I was a child ❤
I would take this realistic home for a family of 6 over the very unrealistic homes we see these days on TH-cam. The house is gorgeous Delilah!! ❤
This home is gorgeous!
Same!
Look I love this house… but I’d hardly call it realistic. The fact that they could buy a house like this, let alone renovate it so much, is way beyond what many of us can afford.
@emmagreenland-broadsmith6841 I believe much of its affordability is down to Zak's not-inconsiderable building and handyman skills; also Delilah's ability to sew curtains and Roman blinds. Well done to this young couple! Their home is lovely and unique.
Also the cost of housing in each country is so variable! Having this much space in the UK would set you back a fair bit more than the US. I would absolutely kill to have play spaces like this for my child but that basement playroom is nearly the size of my whole ground floor!
wow the basement is sooo much bigger than i imagined.
The house went on and on and on!!!
From now on all of my home decor selections will be made with the thought in mind “would Delilah put this in her home?” Absolutely gorgeous. Looks timeless and cozy, yet perfectly collected. I love it
Yeeeeesssss
I've been married almost 22 years and I think you have renovated very quickly compared to many people I know. We lived in our first home about 19 years and we still didn't have it all done exactly the way we wanted when we left. In our new home, we've done quite a bit but there is still so much to do! Time and money just doesn't allow us to get to projects as quickly as we would like.
This! I've been married for 7 years, we only have one child, she's 14 months old. Our house is still not how we really would like it. Time and money doesn't allow for it. That's the reality for most people. And honestly, we probably won't ever have it the way we want it.
Wow, you guys have done an incredible amount of work in such a short time! You're blessed to have a husband so willing and able to help your design ideas come to fruition and the funds to do so.
It looks so nice! I just had my first baby 10 months ago and I cannot wait until we have a place of our own and not just renting! Keep up the videos and faith based content, it’s so refreshing.
My wife was so excited to see that "there's a new Leoppsky video". Especially a house tour one, WOO-HOO!
Your comment got 41 likes my love, good job!
@@peachukit WOO-HOO!
I thought the 1600 sq ft included the basement, but wow you have way more space than I realised! It's an amazing home :) Our home is about 947sq ft and what I wouldn't give to have a basement for storage. It would be so handy! I still love our home ❤
Thank you for sharing 😊❤
I like how you made this like those famous people tours haha. Well done! I used to have a vintage 70s dress made extremely similarly to what you are wearing here. You have a great sized home. We are a family of 5 in a 734 sq foot home. 4 years in your home and it looks great!!! I love your kitchen counters so much and the farmhouse sink. Really cool to get this tour. Butcherblock is so fun! You have floors I've always loved too. I am glad your basement is pretty clean! Nice. I am glad you have future bedrooms planned for when your kids grow older! That's awesome. So much space! I can't even fathom all that space!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW! Congrats on the new carpet in the one area.
I know it's not what you want it to be just yet, but you have truly taken a house and made it a home. It's looking so good!!
You have done a wonderful job with the main living areas, which is the most important! I look forward to the bathroom renovation and then the basement temp!
Ahh I remember when you guys were house hunting! You’ve made a gorgeous home
I remember when you moved in. You’ve created a beautiful comfortable home for your family, and what a blessing to have that basement space! Btw the ceiling in your bedroom is a tray ceiling, at least that’s what we call it in the US😊
Flooring goes under appliances but not cabinets. So you guys could update the flooring easily in the kitchen. 😀
Your bedroom has a tray ceiling. It is lovely.
Wow no fence around the pool. So interesting how Australia is different from Canada😮
As an American that made me extremely nervous! It only takes one moment for a child who is a strong swimmer to slip under when unsupervised.
Yes, I sure do wish they did have a fence around the pool. And someone correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t think any of the kids know how to swim. So NO fence does really bother me!!
In Europe, I have never seen a fence around any pool, but pool covers. In Portugal, if you have a pool, local authorities come to your home to educate you about pool safety.
The channel isn't about you though. Start your own channel since you're clamoring for attention @foofookachoo1136
Beautiful!! As a Texan with no basement, I’m so jealous of that extra space!!
Such a cool house, and I love absolutely everything you have done. I am astonished by how much extra space there is in the basement. It's a house within a house!
You inspired me to buy a fixer upper a year after you bought this house. I was also naive thinking we will be done renos fast, it's been 3 years, we are still working on it but made huge progress and absolutely love our home. I loved this update, looks great 👍
Absolutely love your home! You all have done so much in 4 years, not to mention more babies!! Thank you for sharing!
Wow! Very nice house you guys have. It’s so pretty for the size of ur family. Something I see ourselves liking for the future and everything u need and space is there. I love it
Thank you for reminding that it's okay to take time. We are still renting, and can't wait to have a place to call ours
Lol loved the architectural digest entry lol.. I did the same with my formal dining room.. playroom next to the kitchen..
Huuuge basement wow!
I love what you’ve done to the house ❤
I remember your tiny little first house and when you bought this wonderful family home. You have done a fabulous job. And I have watched every video. BRAVO.
You guys have done so much work to your home. It's beautiful and you should be proud of yourselves!! Congrats!!
It is worm and cozy, and it will be amazing in summer 🍋🍓❤️❤️🥰. Love how it completely change for the better.
I started watching your channel around when you moved into this home. The progress you’ve made on it is so incredible and inspiring given your busy family life! 💛
I hope y’all don’t get rid of the wood burning fire place, it can be useful during the winter
You guys have done so much!! So much to be proud of
Ahh Delilah! I love this so much and I’m so obsessed with your content! You’re such an inspiration to me and so many other girls. You are so fun to watch and you are such a sweet mom to your kids. Ilysm and I hope you’re having an amazing day 💕
Wow I had no idea your house was this big! Although is beautiful, i'd been thinking with 4 kids that upper level may get a little crowded as they get older, having to share bedrooms. But knowing you have all that space on the lower level I'm sure that won't ever be a problem! its an amazing house!
Something I’ve always been curious about is if people in Canada only count the square footage of the main part of the house and not the basement. I’m just not sure how you can realistically fit that many rooms into 1600 ft.² if you aren’t including the basement. I’m pretty sure in the US the square footage of the basement is included if it’s finished.
I'm so excited to see the house full renovated
It's wild to look back, I started watching right when you moved so it's such a surprise how different it all looks
Your house is amazing! The basement is massive!
Ok I live in Florida and this not a 1,600sqft house lol. Beautiful home but this is more like 3,200sqft because of the basement
Woah the basement is so much more expansive than it looked from your first tour! Can't wait to see what you come up with next for those spaces
Your home is absolutely beautiful. All of the colors are well chosen and go together perfectly. You’ve made a space so homey and cozy but still stunning! Love your style! 🤩🤍
I wish people would stop to expect renovations to be something we do in one go with a big reveal at the end. First, there is no "end". Second, people who do that on social media are paid to do renovations. We, normal people have to pay to do renovation AND we have a job. So it's normal that it's a long process and maybe you paint one room at the beggining and before you do your deck for the first time, your repaint that first room and you redocorate something you did before, etc.
What A beautiful home you’ve both cultivated for your large family!!
Thank you for creating and sharing such a beautiful space. I love watching your videos for the calmness and beauty you share, but also for the reality you let us in on. Thank you for creating such beautiful and uplifting content.
I love you guys home. It just radiates warmth and love.
It's all lovely. You guys have done great. It's always good to review and remember the progress that has been made. Kudos to the great camera man. Oh, and loved the bloopers! You should include more of them more often. Question: Do you ever block the stairs for baby safety?
It’s like MTV cribs but for real people and I’m here for it 🙌 Your home is beautiful!
Its called a tray ceiling 😉. We have them in our home too. I love all the trim and wainscoting you've added. It looks beautiul!
I’d love to play hide and seek with my kids at your house ahaha the extra space downstairs is so cool. Makes the upstairs perfect for just cozy every day and down there to put extra stuff out of the way. It’s incredible all the change you’ve done! Great inspiration
That’s just the top floor right with the basement are you at 3,000sqft?
In Canada, we aren't allowed to count the basement as space when we sell, so 1600 upstairs and probably a similar amount downstairs since it is a bungalow.
@@jenwylie4093that’s not true for all of Canada, I live in BC and all house listings include the square footage for the entire house.
Yeh!! I was thinking the same thing with the basement there is no way that's 1600 sqft. I used to live in Toronto and our listing too did not included the basement within the sqft total.
@@morganbayley5292Here in Manitoba, the listing doesn't include the basement either. Interesting how it varies by province.
Wow Delilah your dress is beautiful
You have a beautiful home, and I love all the changes you and your husband have made.
I love a good house tour. We have been in ours almost 7 years and we are still working on it.
Love your home, and your channel, I just saw it for the first time
you all are so down to earth! thank you :)
We have been talking about moving sometime in the next few years and you’ve reminded me that a fixer upper can be a dream home too🩷
Oh, I love EVERYTHING about this house!! My favorite things are the spaciousness of it. It’s pretty well open all the way through out. My other fav thing are the windows. I love that there are numerous windows, and also luv, luv, luv the shape of them!! How would one cover these windows for privacy, though?? Could these windows be covered by curtains or blinds, as they are not the typical rectangular shape?? Not sure that could be done, but I would want some type of covering on them !!
Wow didnt know about the basement and red room😮
I remember when you revealed the kitchen floors and hated them. But have grown to love them over the years
What kind of paint in the Dunn Édouard collection did you use for the cabinets?! Not the name of the colour but the actual type of paint? I'm really interested in going towards a similar look!
I can't express how much I adore this kitchen. You inspired me to install a wooden countertop in my apartment.
You and Zack have created a beautiful home.🤎🤍 It’s warm, inviting and so very peaceful looking. I love watching how houses evolve into homes. The planning, decorating and renovating shows just how much work goes into making it your perfect home. The biggest transformations for me were the kitchen and your master bathroom. Of course we can’t forget all that paint that you did! You did a great job in making everything flow from one room to another. A suggestion for the light fixture in the entryway is to maybe go with a farmhouse style light fixture or chandelier. I feel it would just go well with the style you have chosen for your home.
I’m really looking forward to seeing your kids bathroom renovations all done! With that sneak peak, I can tell that it will be a stunning transformation!
I love this video. Thank you for sharing the paint colors. I’ve always admired your design choices and would love to paint those colors in a home someday. This was fabulous!
Your home is really special! And your hair has grown so long and beautiful ❤
That house is amazingly huge!!!!
Your home is so cozy and inviting! I liked that you left the bloopers haha
such a beautiful home you've done such an amazing job! can't wait to see future projects!
Such a pretty house, just a thought- why dont you move the laundrary room downstairs and tus have more space for shoes and other things?
The house is looking beautiful! I can’t believe it’s already been four years since you moved in. I have been following since before then.
Beautiful house! It feels so good to make your space beautiful when it wasn't before! And it's actually quite huge! 😮 I'm so envious of people with basements. Ours is one of those incredibly scary ones. 😂
Both you and Zack have worked hard to make this house your home. Each room that you have done reflect your style so well
How have you chosen the timing of working on each project?
Fellow Canadian here - would you mind linking the flooring? Looking for something just like that in our new home!
So excited to see what happens with the basement, so much potential
This feels like the perfect house layout! Love your home!
I know, right??!!
What a beautiful house, always thought it was smaller, thank you for sharing ❤❤❤
Absolutely love!!
Also, where is Annie’s dress from??
The house is beautiful and cozy! 😍
Loooooove your home and it is an inspiration to some of our upcoming renovations. Where is the mirror in your room from?
Does the basement count in the square footage of the house? Seems like a lot of room for 1600 ft.².
Wow 🤩 an amazing house. Plenty of space for a growing a family 🥰
Noo!! I thought we were going to get to see the bathroom. I can't wait. Lovely home
Crazy how far you've come. I remember the video before the move. 🙌🏼 bless you and your family ❤
Loooove! And all that space 😍😍 what a blessing!
You guys have done an incredible job in the years you’ve had, even without adding two babies with complicated pregnancies. I love how much Zach is your partner in home making, helping your visions come to life!
I wonder if you could add windows in the basement for your kids bedrooms to have better ventilation ❤
I love this episode!
You are looking so beautiful Delilah,
You are getting so pretty and your hair just stunning
That’s an epic water slide!
really big house!!!
What a lovely job you’ve done with this home! It’s inspiring!! So much charm, and so much space for your family to utilize. I’m glad you mentioned that the basement didn’t count in the listed square footage. We have a family of eight, and sometimes I’m discouraged when looking for a house with the square footage we need. Maybe I shouldn’t specify square footage in my searches, in case a house is listed the way yours is. 🤷♀️😊
Beautiful home ❤...love the architectural details as well.
You have made this a beautiful home!
The master bath is my favorite!❤
Beautiful home and great improvements!! Thanks for sharing!
Where did you get your dining table? It’s beautiful and hard to find a table that not super skinny
So excited to see your basement changes in the near future 😍
You all did an amazing job ! God helps you in your precious life endeavors. Blessings 🙏🏻
Oh my god your house is really big that down stairs is amazing it takes a long time to get things done I think it’s great… what state are you in. I’m in Oregon we don’t have those cool giant down stairs spaces. I wish we did 🙋🏻♀️
Wow this house is huge I love it
Gorgeous home!!! Your style is perfect!!❤
Oh Delilah ❤ I Am SO excited for this one!!!!! Thanks for making my day so much better ❤❤❤❤ you look beautiful ❤
Beautiful and cozy! Love your changes.
