I’m hoping that Ren gets a chance to wield the Staff of Creation at some point in the series. My reasoning is because he is based off the series creator, Month Oum, and was even voiced by him before his passing.
I think a scene similar to Ruby’s silver eyes at the end of Vol 6 could be used. Images of team JNPR and his other friends flashing through his mind, culminating in the image of a setting sun, with birds flying off to the horizon (Monty’s signature) Then, Ren opens his eyes and slams the staff into the ground like Moses parting the Red Sea.
The four relics in a nutshell: Choice: I’m a teacher with thicc watermelon crushing thighs Destruction: Lonely Soul Edge in need of a Soul Caliber Knowledge: If you wanna be with me baby there’s a price to pay I’m a genie in a bottle you gotta rub me the right way Staff: I got the magic stick I know I can hit once I can hit twice I’ll show you maaagic what? what? maaagic I got the magic stick
I think the being inside it if there is one is a reference to the "Blue Fairy" from Pinocchio. I never thought about the staff like that amplifying semblances/silver eyes but it's a cool possibility. The fact that crwby has been extremely excited and have been commenting on how big a deal volume 8 is has me to believe the staff is extremely powerful. I think it'll turn penny into a literal flesh and blood girl to come full circle now that she has maiden powers. It would tie the whole Pinocchio thing together nicely and given all the references I think that's where they are heading. I think it still has the ability to create any physical thing that the user desires within the physical realm. Pure resurrection will be teased but they'll learn that's not possible or something like that. If atlas knew it could bring back the dead they would obviously use it for said purpose.
I strongly agree that Penny will at least be presented with the option of being a "real girl". I think she might refuse since they are developing her character to seem more human already but her struggles with humanity vs being a robot I think will play a big part in volume 8. If she does accept, I think it will be to save Pietro considering her Aura is dependent on Pietro and repairing even minor damage has the potential to hurt him.
I'd jump off with what you said about "pure resurrection" by saying that it might have the capabilities to do so, but only one person at a time, and once the energy is directed somewhere else, that person stops being alive again
We got somewhat of a limit of Juane's aura at the end of volume 6, but it was only after the long battle against Cordo. Thinking about the Staff, I imagine it can supply life preserving or enhancing energy. Anything magical that has to do with creation would usually be able to create flora and by extension, strengthen fauna. So I do see the Staff being able to boosts someone's aura, and I do believe that it'll be limited by the user's own stamina because Ozma would have been unstoppable if it granted him infinite combat energy. Silver Resonance makes a lot of sense, but I wonder if the writers will go that route. But it would be interesting for a whole volume of Ruby in a coma.
The thing that I find crazy about Juane's aura reserves is that, so far, the only time that we've seen it properly break was when he got hit by a literal mountain-sized mech whilst boosting Nora's aura. In other words, he might have even been able to tank that hit if he didn't have to defend Nora as well.
I do think it is an intriguing idea. But the problem stems from us knowing too little of the limits of the staff. Infinite energy for any one task. Penny herself being a machine could use the staff to amplify her own power in conjuction with the maiden powers and death kamehameha everything. Or make a storm to rip apart everything in creation. Thinking back. Salem was refered to with the words. "A being of infinite life" I mean is limitless energy the limit of the creation or can it do any single task. That clarification is desperately needed before we can make proper assumptions. It is the fun of theories after all. It makes you wonder since Maria even called creation the enemy of destruction. Its exact opposite. So it is interesting if that possibility even exists for the staff of creation to be used for destruction when a relic of destruction already exists. So I suspect something within it would prevent the relic from being used for the purpose of destruction. But by that vein. The silver light is also as Maria said. Not to be seen as destroying Grimm but preserving life. So there could be merit to this.
All the possibilities for how the staff will be used next volume should be a good thing. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is the writers giving themselves room to work. With all the possible uses of the staff I'm personally hoping that team RWBY and friends will have to creatively use the staff tactically, one task at a time, to repel Salem's attack and save Atlas/Mantle. This could give various characters room to shine, not just Ruby. Not to mention they have to go get the staff in the first place.
Given that Atlas is right above Mantle, if the staff is removed, Atlas will fall on Mantle. It’s not high enough to be like a full meteor strike, but it’ll have a similar effect. If Atlas falls, I don’t think anyone in Atlas or Mantle will survive.
I wanna see the staff amp up Wiess's semblance so she can summon her Armagigas but make it large enough to fight 1v1 against that whale. lol OK for a more realistic thought though, what about using it in combination with another relic? What if, now bear with me, but what if Jinn is limited in the information she can provide by a power level block so to speak? In Dragon Ball Z, you collect the 7 dragon balls and summon the dragon. You get to make a wish blah blah blah. However, there was an episode that addressed the limitations of that. Shenron(?) can do anything within that world, but did not have the power to affect things on a universe/multiverse scale. For something like that, you need to summon the higher tier dragon. What if something similar applies to RWBY? What if Jinn saying Salem cannot be killed is because she honestly doesn't think its possible, but also doesn't realize that a different answer does exist, but is just behind even her understanding? So what if you used the staff to amplify Jinn's powers and then asked her that question again? I believe the 4 relics are more than just the simple embodiment of "human" qualities/ideals. They hold powers of the gods themselves. It seems only logical that they could be used in conjunction with each other.
The trick about Jinn is that she knows all knowledge in the world, and can therefore answer any question where the answer is in the past. The thing about knowledge is that all knowledge must be learned, so if no one or nothing has figured out how to do something, even by accident, then she doesn't know how to do it either, even theoretically. So while the staff may let her answer more questions than just three, I very highly doubt that it would make her more knowledgeable on the an unknown answer to a question, since the answer has yet to be figured out period.
I genuinely think the staff is flexible in use, its current application plus the fact that Ironwood said it "can only do one thing at a time" inherently suggests that it can do other "things", whether that is mimicking dust, amplifying powers or even creating stuff as implied by its name.
I had a similar theory. However instead of Ruby resonating with the Staff of Creation she could simply use it to create an energy filed that is the same kind of energy produced by her silver eyes. This would not be a cop out for three reasons. One Ironwood already confirmed that the staff can be used for a "single purpose" which means that it technically has not limits except the users imagination and the fact that it can't be used for anything else while its carrying out its current function. Reason number two is that they have the Winter Maiden so their is no reason that they cannot go get the Staff especially if they were to seek out the help of the Happy Huntresses. Finally reason number three is that utilizing the Staff to defeat Salem and her army of Grimm would still come at a cost to city of Atlas as it would no longer have the ability to fly something that served as a source of inspiration for the Kingdom and no doubt would effect the people greatly if it came crashing down.
If Wiess would get her hands on the staff, couldn’t she use it in combination with her semblance to create a giant army of aura constructs to fight against the giant grim army.
If Salem gets her power amplified then she could probably break the limitations of magic itself, like being able to bring someone from death back or something like that. Maybe that’s to much op but thing about it, if that happens the old man Oz will have no choice but use all of his tricks to even match that ("more than just a man aura", his supposed "breaking-game semblance" etc). Maybe i am to crazy, but if something like that happen, it will be crazy.
What if the staff amplifies all Power that the person using the staff has, from physical, to Aura, to Semblance, to Magic, to etc..., basically making said person Super-Human in nature, but also having a massive strain on them to balance out all that Power
My theory, the staff is use for landscaping or, controlling the weather. I'm first part is base from the Japanese mythology legend of kuiumi, within the legend there a spear call amenonuhoko (heavenly jeweled spear) that was use to raise the first islands of Japan. We can see this within RWBY of Atlas a floating over the landscape. Second part of the thoery comes from world of remnant series of vol. 4 DVD, episode of the great war. During the last battle in Vacuo the king of Vale taken the flied of battle and, had two items within hand. Which in theory could be the sword of destruction and, staff of creation. During the battle the desert of Vacuo had sandstorm help destroy Mistral and, Atlas armies. I believe this was staff of creation use to summon the sandstorm. The theory of the staff use as a power booster is great idea but, I hope story telling doesn't use the power as an freebie win for team RWBY. Sometimes a hero's journey need a lost in order to have a comeback against the villain. P.S. Phoenix-night, I was wondering if you had any theories what inside the vault may look like? My thoery, inside look like some type of magic garden, that reflects opposite cold northren wastland weather of solitus.
A thought that occurred to me while you were discussing the staff as a source of pure power is obviously you have the potential to destroy with that power, similar to your weapon battery analogy. As the god of darkness said "You may bask in the powers of creation but you do not own them", so the opposite must be true as well, and the staff of creation can be used for destruction in a few situations. It will be interesting to see what the sword of destruction holds, whether it is the polar opposite on that it can take power away, or whether it can only destroy or whether it is more complex than that. My bet is the latter, otherwise the sword would be pretty limited outside of wreaking havoc, which doesnt exactly unite humanity like the god of light said.
I can't wait till we have the abilities of all 4 relics revealed. So much speculation about them and the way that they are used. Since knowledge only deals with the past and choice only deals with the future, my guess is creation and destruction might be polar opposites but I would love to see interesting overlap
Wow. Once again you've made incredible video with a very, very interesting theory. I do like the idea of Ruby's silver eyes power being increased from the staff and how much it can grow and what potential impact or even harm it may bring to her as an effect. It would be a bit sad, but I can see the idea of having her character in a coma state as a way having her not being a major focus for a volume and having her role temporarily focused on other characters. I feel like lots of shows and anime tend to sometimes do this with their protagonists by giving them injuries or temporary deaths.
Interesting ideas put forth here. Salem getting anywhere near this thing makes me more terrified than anything. I've had a theory myself where the staff could also create up to a certain degree. For example you aren't allowed to create something more powerful then the staff itself. Or you're not allowed to create things that that don't exist. idk it's my 9 pm thoughts
Phoenix/Night what about if it has activation requirements, which is why it can’t be used all willy nilly, in the same way that jinn has use limits? What if it requires a sacrifice to turn on, or for a set conditions like “cannot be used to harm” that prevent it from being weaponized or used in that sorts
This is a long post, but one I felt I should make anyway. So I was rewatching the series a short while ago and two thoughts came to mind. Salem said something strange when Tyrian reported his failure to her in season 4. She said "the last eye has been blinded" before saying he disappointed her. I was thinking back to the Seer Grimm, but realized she had more than she should have. Cryptic af, and I'm not sure anyone has caught onto that. The second thing is strength. The series has given several definitions of this concept, but the ones that interest me the most are what Marcus Black defines as "strength" and if Salem knows how she could be defeated, but will emphasize that "strength" specifically "will not bring victory". On the topic of strength, Raven talks about it and says she has "spat in the face of Death because she's the only one strong enough to do what's necessary" before getting a lecture from Yang about strength. Raven is easily one of, if not the strongest, but she's letting all the weaker fighters fight Salem for her. Cinder defines it as power. She also says in I think season 2 (whenever Mercury fought Pyrrha) that "power isn't overcoming the enemy, it's taking away that which makes them powerful". Not much more needs to be said considering her actions have more than spoken for such. Ironwood originally saw it as military might, then changed it to unity as made evident with Amity. What about Marcus? He told Mercury he wouldn't get his Semblance back until he got stronger, and considering he was killed by his own son, it's safe to assume Mercury is stronger. For reasons unknown, Mercury still doesn't have his Semblance back. This tells me one of two things; either Marcus was holding back/ fighting with a handicap, or Mercury hasn't become what Marcus defines as "strong".
I want more Phoenix Festival Tournament matches. I also wanna know if any of your OC Team will be in the Tournament, even if just in the exhibition matches. As for the staff, if it’s removed, Atlas will act like a meteor(especially if they go high enough per Ironwood’s orders), destroying Mantle and probably a decent chunk of Solitace(definitely didn’t spell that right). Nearby coastal cities like Argus are also in for a very bad day. Of all the weapons Atlas has, its most dangerous weapon is the city of Atlas itself.
Hey there Pheonix! I was thinking about what they could use the staff for. It seems a major part of their struggle will be to keep mantle safe. What if once they acquire the staff, they give it to Ren to shield the emotions of all those in atlas, mantle and possibly team rwby, making the Grimm essentially blind to them. We started volume six with the train scene where he said he hadn’t done it with so many people, and they said something to the effect of, “well, you haven’t done it without jaune’s semblence”. It boosted him enough to mask the whole train. So, it stands to reason if his aura/semblance were boosted by an unlimited power source that he could go waaaay larger in scale with his semblance.
I think if team CRWBY/JNOR got the lamp back, a good question would be to find the remaining Silver Eyed warriors, if there are any left that is. Assuming Salem is part Grimm, Ruby alone cant defeat her with her silver eyes. I like to believe Summer tried, and thats how Salem got the cracks on her skin. Pretty much, if Summer cant defeat Salem with her silver eyes, I dont think Ruby can. Having multiple Silver Eyed warriors can aid in that. Just my theory though.
Hi Phoenix. Since you mentioned Ruby possibly or theoretically having a comatose after using the staff. My thoughts are maybe she will be led into a reference of "Sleeping Beauty", because of 'Briar Rose' in the tale. Give a thumbs up if you guys also think so. Thanks! :-)
I’d love to see Ruby wield the staff of creation and achieve that “silver resonance” you mentioned. It would be very interesting to see. P.s. I think that Ruby could possibly continue on Maria’s legacy and become the next Grimm Reaper.
I think the way the staff works is it outputs only enough power for the creature, power, or object to use a function indefinitely. So ruby could probably non stop use her eyes but she couldn’t just do an all out attack and still have energy to go.
Hey Phoenix/Night I think I got an idea of what happened in Summer's last mission based on what you've talked about in this video. What if Summer used her silver eyed powered to the max, literally overloaded them? Now when Ruby used her silver eyes for the first time, she was out for a couple of days, right? So what if the downside of using such powers to the max resulted in Summer killing herself in the process? I believe the term is "glass canon" where you put all your power into one shot/strike but afterwards leave yourself vulnerable or overloading yourself. I think Summer did beat Salem as a result when they first met eachother, but had literally had nothing left in the tank when Salem regenerated herself, just like she did after her fight with Ozma/Ozpin.
You know what would be interesting, is if Emerald or Mercury harnessed the staff of creation, which would tie in to Jafar ,in Aladdin, who also has the staff. And I think the Roman God Mercury had a staff too.
Because Mass is a form energy, I think the Staff generating nearly limitless power for Atlas could be similar to the Lamp being able to stop time, in that it's a power the Relic has, but was not how it was meant to be used. The staff could be usable to construct materials from seemingly nothing, mostly limited by what it can and cannot create. I think it can only construct physical objects, like the Vaults or maybe replacing a severed limb with a cloned one. I don't think it can create the immaterial, like a soul or consciousness to drive a living body it creates, making it unable to create true life. I also don't think it can create something like a storm. I think there might be a limit on the size of it's creations, with the Relic only being able to spend a certain amount of energy on a single creation at a time. Their creations have a limit to how much energy can be used to create them, so the more mass used, the smaller the creation. Someone could make a mountain of weak materials, but creating a smaller wall made of an strong alloy would take up more energy. It also may have a limit to how many creations can exist simultaneously, with some of them needing to be destroyed to give the staff more power to craft new creations.
You missed something. The lamp of knowledge can also hold time. Another thing to speculate is what effect can relics have on each other? If Jin can choose to help Ruby to give her time, what could the combination with the relic of choice do? Could she lie?
You might be onto something there! Ruby rocking Salem's forces and proving there is hope by annihilating the grim force could be a nice way to break the lingering dread of the characters the last few volumes
I don’t know why but I want Salem to kill the gods and take their power and I want wise (i don’t know how to spell there names) to get the winter maidens and yang spring maidens power and the magic oz pin gave her mom and I want penny to become a real person I want her to unlock her seblance (i don’t know how to spell it) and her semblance to create her a human body and maybe it recreates the maidens power so there would be two winter maidens
imma comment this again but... my theory for the silver eyes activating is because in every time it was used, there was something to do with life. when it was at beacon, haven, or fog salem, it was the desire to protect people's lives. at beacon, it was pyrrah's, at haven, it was weiss', and at fog salem it was summer's. edit: i just thought of this: what would happen if a maiden had silver eyes?
Since it was created by the god of light and he was all about balance I imagine there will be other stipulations to using it and not just can only work on one thing at a time
I had a thought: So many people theorize that the staff of creation could be used to bring back Clover or Phyrra, but has anyone thought about the possibility of bringing back Summer Rose...
Hi Phoenix!! I love your talks in the rwby series!!! I am also curious of what would happen if ruby were to come face to face with Salem and tried to use her silver eyes. I’m not sure it’ll be used to full extent cause technically Salem is a being of light that has corruptive/destructive thoughts thanks to dipping into the pool of darkness. So I think it may shake Salem but maybe not destroy her cause she’s a being of light and Ruby’s eyes are from the god of light. What you think?
I don't think Salem fears the silvers eyes at all, she didn't flich when ruby used them. There was hundred of silver eyes warriors in the past, why weren't they able to beat Salem?. I have a weird feeling about this, I don't think they will affect her. Everyone expects the silver eyes to effect Salem, if so the story will be over the second ruby confronts Salem.
5:34 you say it would be interesting, I'd say it would be darker if she would use that to create a Grim version of humanity like herself since she's fused with grim ooze in her blood
Idea, the staff overcharges Penny's magic and she destroys the Grimm army with the super charged magic however channeling that much power causes her to be destroyed. Then the power of the Winter Maiden goes to someone else and Penny is rebuilt again at the cost of her father's life.
I honestly love the series and characters so much that I think about a lot of 'what if's' and make connections all the time that I always have a number of them lol
Not sure it could imitate dust. Dust is moon shards from when the god of darkness left remnent. So they didn't directly create dust for the people of remnent, more of a byproduct. It's also why ozma was confused in his second incarnation -- society had found dust before he came back to life
Maybe that might be why ironwood doesn’t just take it and put it into an anti Grimm laser and point it at Salem, because in order to activate it it requires something( like a sacrifice perhaps) in exchange, so in order to keep it running, he connected it to something that is constantly needing it. Or maybe it’s because its power is infinite that it constantly needs to be used or else it could cause destruction
It would probably damage their soul at the very least. I wonder if Jaune's semblance went out of control if that could happen and he would start fearing his own power
Little theory semblances are magic. Everyone used to be able to use magic to varying degrees then the gods destroyed humanity, but they didn’t recreate the world and the rules as shown with ozpin and Salem’s kids they could use magic cause both parents could. There’s also the maidens who were gifted magic by ozpin. So we know magic still exists but humans no longer have the ability to use it like they once did. There’s no real information on how semblances manifest and they can be hard to understand. Ren awakens his aura and semblance when his and Nora’s village was destroyed by grim and Nora had to awaken her’s in order not to die. I believe that semblances is the magic of the world expressing itself in a different way. Semblances let people preform feats that ordinary people can’t just like magic.
Maybe it’s like a genie, except it’s a staff and it has infinite wishes. You just ask for something and it does it. No matter what it is. Ironwood probably asked it to raise Atlas.
Unfortunately revival of the dead is not creation. The god of light said that about reviving Ozma. I do think the Staff could possibly create a new body for Pyrrha's soul that is trapped inside Cinder though 😊
I like how you think, what if instead of trying to use the staff to go in the air or fight they just use the staff the sink the city and protect it with a shield like they did in the Atlantis animated movie?
I think it could be used to charge magic, silver eye's and technology. But aura and a persons psychical power. Is kind of far. (For those who don't get about the whole magic or silver eye thing.) Just having it, possibly charging a maidens or oscar's magic would be over powered. Also think about it, ozpin said his power's were weakening. So maybe the staff could be used to give him/oscar more magic. Allowing them to fight salem or against cinder. If oz were to have a rematch with cinder. Also if the staff combined with ruby's silver eyes. Who knows the amounts of grimm that could be petrified. Not to mention the possibility of it turning salem to stone. Sense she's techncially grimm. And if ruby was able to SOMEHOW handle the staff's power. (I am stating that due to salem's suicide attempt with a pool of darkness.) But in my eyes. Ruby being able to petrify salem with her silver eyes and the staff of creation. Is a cop out, and most likely won't. (I could see more of a possibility with ozpin/oscar getting the staff and super charge there magic. Due to the staff. Than ruby turning salem into stone with her silver eyes and the staff.)
So is Atlas supposed to also have connections to the city of Atlantis? A city of advancement and ego that is forever brought to its knees by an outside force they couldn’t withstand. I know it could be many things, but I’m just spitballin
In technical since, isn't Ruby Salem's great great great great great GREAT grand daughter? One of her kids with oz way back then had silver eyes and if it is a trait that has to be required from birth then Ruby is Salem's great×5 grand daughter!!! Just an observation, I would love to hear anyone's thoughts on this topic, it's very interesting
1)In Japanese myth the Amenonuhoko was the spear that created Japan. All the islands and the mainland of Japan. If the spear of creation is similar it can do more than just be a generator. It could probably create a way to return someone from the dead. 2) If the spear can only be purposed to 1 task at a time. Similar to how Djinn is limited to 3 questions every 100 years. Then question 🤔 becomes... 3)How long has the spear been at Atlas?
Now that Salem is here, why don’t they abandon atlas, fly it into the Thundra, and crash it there. Then, using the staff, create an inescapable prison for Salem? One task at a time.
you damn well better PRAY the relics are not collected until the end of the series. as that's when the gods will return. and if humanity is not the angels they wanted to see by that point...well, Salem will presumably be happy to finally be able to die.
now, if indeed the staff ended up powering Silver Eyes aimed at Salem, and backed up by the wellspring of transferrable aura that is Jaune...short of the writers being forgetful idiots(or the gods having been boastful assholes) I still don't see a result go much beyond a frozen statue. that presumably would not be moveable. it turning to dust would mean her death, which according to the gods cannot happen without the planet going with her. so....yeah. I am surprised at myself for not realizing the 'frozen statue' was an option until a few days ago. and what with the possibility of the staff being able to power Ruby's Main Weapon in the Defense of Humanity, added to Jaune also possibly being able to do the same...perhaps Salem should not be so eager to 'use' the girl. :) then again, it should be safe, so long as she can manage to 'divide' her from her Extended Team....which she probably could make happen. for a bit, at least. if she really wanted to. (in line with my theory that if Salem Willed it, the world would have been rid of non-grimm life some time ago.)
Ruby can only turn Salem human again. I do like your theories about Jaune's aura and Ruby's silver eyes but to kill Salem just like that? I think first, Salem needs to realize why she's wrong, the importance of death and life, their balance and why is better to move forward *then* she can die. After everything Ruby and Jaune are going through (for losing someone meaningful in their lifes) they know and can tell her why she's wrong. Obviously that can only happen in the middle of a fight, this is where I can apply your theories, they can weaken her with those new abilities and then talk to her (i know is cliche but if RT managed it well then it's great) they could defeat her physically but they need to defeat her emotionally, cause she could even kill herself to recover her strength and it'd be like all what they did was for nothing. But it'd be different if they go through the heart where she would question herself (Oscar have to be there indeed, he would be an influence on her emotionally) We know she's inmortal but the curse gets rumbled if she learns her lesson and this is the best way they can kill her
@@rftg1793 Thank you, you beat me to it. There is no strength in victory, it's in a smaller more honest soul. You can't defeat Salem by force, you need to talk no jutsu her
Only half way through but I disagree with this. The dark god wiped out humanity after taking magic back, and both him and light left after punishing salem. You're entire premise is based on the fact that the relic of creation was made with the first generation of humans in mind but that wouldn't make sense. They were all wiped out. Light had no reason to make the relics with them or magic in mind. Oz and Salem are the only original humans left and it's made very clear that the gods were fallible and leaving those two with magic and the ability to pass it on was an oversight. It would make much more sense for the relics to be compatible for the second generation of humans. Light brought oz back and specifically warned him about Salem before making the relics and reincarnating him back, so he was aware that the second gen existed. It also doesn't make sense for the relic to specifically have some kind of resonance with silver eyes. While I'm sure the relic can and might in the series boost abilities, giving the eyes that option would go against the balance light and dark had, if one of lights creations could just obliterate all of darks.
"Why spend all that time acquiring gravity dust when you could use a simple stick instead?"
I love it.
All hail the majik stick
I’m hoping that Ren gets a chance to wield the Staff of Creation at some point in the series. My reasoning is because he is based off the series creator, Month Oum, and was even voiced by him before his passing.
I want to see that. Imagine him breaking the 4th wall for a second and getting a glimpse of Monty
I want to see that happen as well. I would love to see a tribute to Monty through Ren
I think a scene similar to Ruby’s silver eyes at the end of Vol 6 could be used. Images of team JNPR and his other friends flashing through his mind, culminating in the image of a setting sun, with birds flying off to the horizon (Monty’s signature)
Then, Ren opens his eyes and slams the staff into the ground like Moses parting the Red Sea.
The four relics in a nutshell:
Choice: I’m a teacher with thicc watermelon crushing thighs
Destruction: Lonely Soul Edge in need of a Soul Caliber
Knowledge: If you wanna be with me baby there’s a price to pay I’m a genie in a bottle you gotta rub me the right way
Staff: I got the magic stick I know I can hit once I can hit twice I’ll show you maaagic what? what? maaagic I got the magic stick

Hi Phoenix! Hi everyone! Hope you’re all having a good day!❤️❤️
Thanks man, i hope you too ^-^.
(Its night here tho kkk)
I dislike emojis but arigato gozaimastu
Hi, I am, thank you! I hope you are as well!
I’m doing well everyone! Thanks for asking!
At this point Phoenix is just getting me even less patient for Volume 8 😂
And if she does become real we can get to see what her semblance is
I'd jump off with what you said about "pure resurrection" by saying that it might have the capabilities to do so, but only one person at a time, and once the energy is directed somewhere else, that person stops being alive again
@@willswenson3169 possibly it could resurrect people but there's a cost somehow. I don't mind resurrection if it's done right like in shows like FMAB.
Genius. I hope that theory is true and penny becomes a real girl
"A being of infinite life"
I mean is limitless energy the limit of the creation or can it do any single task.
"A simple stick" I love that description for an almighty relic. XD
Missed the opportunity to say that things would be way more....grim..
Dammit Barb
I paused in the middle of that sentence thinking about saying it but chose not to for some reason
Agreed, it definitely is a good thing to have open possibilities, there is room to let us speculate and build excitement. I can't wait for Volume 8
I don’t know why but I feel like Salem May use the staff to just Hiroshima Atlas/Mantle as a message.
Salem: you wanna blame someone blame my ex-husband!!!
Given that Atlas is right above Mantle, if the staff is removed, Atlas will fall on Mantle. It’s not high enough to be like a full meteor strike, but it’ll have a similar effect. If Atlas falls, I don’t think anyone in Atlas or Mantle will survive.
I wanna see the staff amp up Wiess's semblance so she can summon her Armagigas but make it large enough to fight 1v1 against that whale. lol
OK for a more realistic thought though, what about using it in combination with another relic?

OMG I've never been so early! (Besides your RWBY videos make my day ^^)
I'm really glad you enjoy them!
Interesting ideas, I really want to see if the staff has other abilities as it would give an idea of what destruction is capable of too
Phoenix/Night what about if it has activation requirements, which is why it can’t be used all willy nilly, in the same way that jinn has use limits? What if it requires a sacrifice to turn on, or for a set conditions like “cannot be used to harm” that prevent it from being weaponized or used in that sorts
@@Drawngalaxy That could also be interesting. Maybe that's the reason Ironwood looks the way he does. That or from a weapons test
Salem with the staff
Stewie: Game over man, Game over
I learn the names of semblances officially from here since I don’t study up on them
So what would happen if Salem got the staff? Salem a being of infinite life, she could create anything. In theory she could create her own universe.
Nice clip 👍👍! As a current TH-camr, I am on the lookout for new ideas! Nice Job!
All this Talk of how powerful the Staff is and he calls it "A sImPLe StICk"?!!
Sup Phoenix Great vid man keep it up 👍🏽
This is an interesting view of the possibility of the staff
Do you think it could follow rules similar to 'equivalent exchange' in FMA? Possibly requiring a sacrifice?
Your theory video gave me an idea for my fan fiction. 💡
Please no, ive had enough of team Rwby and there bs
I don’t know why but I want Salem to kill the gods and take their power and I want wise (i don’t know how to spell there names) to get the winter maidens and yang spring maidens power and the magic oz pin gave her mom and I want penny to become a real person I want her to unlock her seblance (i don’t know how to spell it) and her semblance to create her a human body and maybe it recreates the maidens power so there would be two winter maidens
Also I want junuea to try and bring back pearar (I don’t know how to spell there names ) with the staff but it will cost him his life
But he doesn’t do it because she convinces him that his life matters and is worth something
Yes to Salem killing the gods and taking their powers.
imma comment this again but...
my theory for the silver eyes activating is because in every time it was used, there was something to do with life. when it was at beacon, haven, or fog salem, it was the desire to protect people's lives. at beacon, it was pyrrah's, at haven, it was weiss', and at fog salem it was summer's.
edit: i just thought of this: what would happen if a maiden had silver eyes?
mm... I think you're mistaken. Ruby activated her silver eyes for Weiss? It wasn't because of Jaune?
@@rftg1793 ruby activated her silver eyes because weiss nearly died. jaune only stopped weiss from dying.
This theory furthers my idea that the gods aren't somewhere else but rather ARE the relics and broke up their essence into objects.
That is a actually a really good theory.
Since it was created by the god of light and he was all about balance I imagine there will be other stipulations to using it and not just can only work on one thing at a time
I want to see staff amped ruby and the volume coma would be cool
I had a thought:
So many people theorize that the staff of creation could be used to bring back Clover or Phyrra, but has anyone thought about the possibility of bringing back Summer Rose...
Darth Sidious: Can the relic create...”life”? *evil laugh*
If one wants to understamd the great myteries of Remnant, one has to understand the tragedy of darth Plagueis the wise.
Blue Whale I don’t think so either
5:34 you say it would be interesting, I'd say it would be darker if she would use that to create a Grim version of humanity like herself since she's fused with grim ooze in her blood
Idea, the staff overcharges Penny's magic and she destroys the Grimm army with the super charged magic however channeling that much power causes her to be destroyed. Then the power of the Winter Maiden goes to someone else and Penny is rebuilt again at the cost of her father's life.
don't know why but i just remembered that the Wyvern at Beacon still isn't dead
How do you think of all these theory’s
I honestly love the series and characters so much that I think about a lot of 'what if's' and make connections all the time that I always have a number of them lol
I think that when or if they get the crown I think ruby will see a vision of her and summer against Salem
Off topic but I wonder what Ironwood's semblance is
I wonder that as well. I made a video with some ideas but I hope we find out next Volume
I think the first humans did have aura, they just didn't discover or try to unlock theirs because they were equipped with magic.
Not sure it could imitate dust. Dust is moon shards from when the god of darkness left remnent. So they didn't directly create dust for the people of remnent, more of a byproduct. It's also why ozma was confused in his second incarnation -- society had found dust before he came back to life
Uh.... am I the only one who is more scared the of the consequences of such objects?
Maybe that might be why ironwood doesn’t just take it and put it into an anti Grimm laser and point it at Salem, because in order to activate it it requires something( like a sacrifice perhaps) in exchange, so in order to keep it running, he connected it to something that is constantly needing it. Or maybe it’s because its power is infinite that it constantly needs to be used or else it could cause destruction
I'm kinda curious if someone were to use it as an amplifier could they explode for having so much aura coursing through them?
I wonder if the power of the silver eyes can be used like aura
Me too, I'd like it. Some theories would match themselves
Your t-shirt is from yuru camp, i'm dying ♡♡♡♡♡
Maybe it’s like a genie, except it’s a staff and it has infinite wishes. You just ask for something and it does it. No matter what it is. Ironwood probably asked it to raise Atlas.
The staff could create a weapon containing the power of the Sliver eyes but the weapon itself can't transform as a drawback.
I am not sure if the Staff could amplify magic, since magic was given by the god of darkness.
Wouldn’t it also be able to create a stable wormhole
I bet that the relic of creation can bring back Pyrrha I just know it
I would love to see Pyrrha again.
ARKOS FOREVER!
@@liaramcconnell1815 u said it
Unfortunately revival of the dead is not creation. The god of light said that about reviving Ozma. I do think the Staff could possibly create a new body for Pyrrha's soul that is trapped inside Cinder though 😊
@@PhoenixNight Do you think Cinder may die in volume 8 and the fall maiden power will just follow it's natural course and bring Pyrrha back to us?😀
@@PhoenixNight well u never know what could happen
I love these theories!
I wonder, will thy go for the sunken city of Atlas (Atlantis) after they remove the relic?
I like how you think, what if instead of trying to use the staff to go in the air or fight they just use the staff the sink the city and protect it with a shield like they did in the Atlantis animated movie?
I think it could be used to charge magic, silver eye's and technology. But aura and a persons psychical power. Is kind of far.
(For those who don't get about the whole magic or silver eye thing.)
Just having it, possibly charging a maidens or oscar's magic would be over powered.
(I am stating that due to salem's suicide attempt with a pool of darkness.)
But in my eyes.
Maybe staff of creation can only do one task at one time like lifting a Atlas for a century but it still a one job
Been wanting to ask this for a while but did u get an a+ in English lit c see use ur analysis is too gd in ur videos
At this point this are looking very.....Grimm
RWBY volume 7 prediction please
now, if indeed the staff ended up powering Silver Eyes aimed at Salem, and backed up by the wellspring of transferrable aura that is Jaune...short of the writers being forgetful idiots(or the gods having been boastful assholes) I still don't see a result go much beyond a frozen statue. that presumably would not be moveable. it turning to dust would mean her death, which according to the gods cannot happen without the planet going with her. :)
then again, it should be safe, so long as she can manage to 'divide' her from her Extended Team....which she probably could make happen. for a bit, at least. if she really wanted to.
You can't defeat Salem by force, you need to talk no jutsu her
Connect to the staff
Your shirt is cool but I dunno what it's from.
Funny
For once I can't find anything to disagree with
