The worst part about the screenshot shirt is that it would be a thousand times better if they just made it so the gliph was bigger, removed the background, and kept the nevermore and Weiss in full color and size to the gliph. That would take so little effort! They already have a normal gliph shirt, just add Weiss and the nevermore!
My personal change to that idea would be to make Weiss monocolor as opposed to be in full color as the glyph and nevermore are somewhat simplistic, so it makes sense to carry that over in for Weiss. Other than that, yeah that it a good idea but it’s not “screenshot a visual from the episode” level of work so they didn’t do that.
I like the "just the glyph" idea from what I assume is the back of the sweatshirt. That's pretty cool, I could be willing to buy that if exchange rates and shipping wasn't an issue. But the front in all likelihood being the damn screenshot rectangle really ruins any draw it has for me. "A tiny rectangular screenshot" is the worse idea for a clothing merch ever.

The most egregious examples of their merch are those tshirts with the small rectangular screenshot on them. With the stuff that’s just ugly, there’s usually at least a LITTLE thought that goes into the design, even if it’s still bad and lazy. Even the mushroom tie-dye one; it’s not good, but at least they put in the bare minimum to create an original image. The screenshot shirts not only look HORRIBLE, and something not a single person would wanna wear, but you can genuinely make that same shirt in probably 5 minutes. At 40 DOLLARS??? Truly a certified capitalism moment I love your merch though, and I’m all here for the pettiness LMAO
Thing about capitalism is, us not buying it is also a part of it. That's how prices are supposed to be determined, by finding that ugly middle ground of barely tolerable pricing between how much they're charging and how much we're willing to pay. All this is to me is another example of how they have absolutely no idea how to properly run a business.
As far as merchandise goes. Vizzy Pop has RT beat by a mile. They got pins, enamel figures, hats, posters, keychains, extra. All with tons of styles and creative designs. You can get a ball cap hat with Blitzo or Fizzarollie’s faces on them. Instead of RT just offering a hooded sweater with a screen shot, or a ugly leather jacket for over 100 dollars!
Was literally talking about this with a friend recently but Rooster Teeth got a lot of nerve being so strict about fan merch when most of their official merch are ugly and/or overpriced 😭

The Team WBY in Mushrooms shirt would be great with a Giant Ruby peaking over the top and in any color BUT tie-dye. Why not dark purple and teal like Herb, or a smokey purple like the leaf trip? Your merch is as lovely as always. I immediately loved the Cat design, seeing it clearly as The Cheshire Cat from wonderland with an interesting mix of Pink and Brown eyes. I just noticed something, Weiss's silhouette on that tie shirt is off. Her dress is a lot shorter than what it should be. The hemline of her dress is stopping towards her upper thigh when it should be below her knees.
The screenshot shirt is literally so easy to fix! All they have to do is trace Weiss and her glyph's silhouettes, fill in with solid white, enlarge to take up more space on the shirt, then BAM! PROFIT! Also, is it just me, or is the screenshot kinda off center on the shirt?
