And part of it is the constant attacks on men/ the patriarchy/white men are all racist/ snarky attitudes towards those outside your group/ the American psychology that you are entitled to have everything you want; and the American culture that it is cool to be snarky; especially to those who you reject as not in a group your psychology exclude or get triggered by.
I know of a case where a woman brought her kid to a swimming pool; she laid down to sunbathe and the little girl jumped in and went to the bottom; an older man jumped in and brought the kid up; who was then crying and clinging to, and hugging the man; the mom heard the crying and started yelling at the man; other woman ( none who had been paying attention); joined in.
I witnessed it; and my views were dismissed until security camera footage showed it exactly as stated.
The mom; nor any of the women apologized to the man.
And I don't think anyone is surprised by that. Fifty years ago he would have been a community hero; and everyone would have been getting on the mom's case for not watching her kid; especially one that doesn't know how to swim.

A hot woman in her 20s to 30s is not going to be romantically interested in a much older man unless he is charming and good-looking and probably taller than average. It's sad that he had these mental issues. I wish he had gotten help, and possibly be disabused of his notion that young men had sex 3x daily, and that 30 million women had turned him down. Murder solves nothing. Neither does suicide. But if you look for the "perfect" women and "10s" alone, you will be lonely. I don't know about anyone else, but I have Creep-Dar. I've met a few men in my life that I was around for all of 60 seconds, and knew without doubt that they has the capacity for murder. I couldn't understand women who thought these people were fine. Well, one of them, anyway. For the other two, nobody but one weird guy I knew back then wanted anything to do with him. Even invited the guy to MY parties, at which point everyone there made it clear he was not invited. The same weird guy gave my phone number to yet another unstable weirdo. I remember a friend of mine who in his forties was angered by rejection by twenty-year-old musicians and artists. He wanted a traditional wife to bear his children and keep house for him, and developed a belief that young women were stupid and immoral for not leaping at this "prime opportunity" to marry him. He was bright and ran a record label, which he felt ought to make up for his lack of physical handsomeness, and also gave him a way to interact with exciting young women playing in bands.
When I suggested instead of music clubs, he look elsewhere for women closer to his own age, who might want the same things he did, he became extremely angry and insulted at the whole idea he would "settle for a dog". ONLY the most attractive, creative, and especially YOUNG women counted as possibilities even into his fifties, at which time he became angry at me as well and cut off contact. I have been half-expecting him to poison an entire bar of music fans at some point as revenge for his ill-considered expectations' failure.

@@shebakali6 "Women don't owe you anything" is a common anti-social, social Darwinist, incelerationist utterance used by neoliberal feminists in response to incels pointing out that women are less sexually generous than men.
Given everyone knows no one is entitled to sex, a person who says "Women don't owe you anything" is usually saying three things:
      1. I have no genuine intention to help shy or ugly men get laid
      2. Society has no genuine intention to help shy or ugly men get laid
      3. And this is just
Incels already know society does not want to help them, so the phrase feels like rubbing the problem in incels' faces. Someone proclaiming their unwillingness to help feels bad in general.
Moreover, this is essentially hypocritical because most feminists will insist that society provide for any want or need that women have. Some examples include free emotional labor from doctors/therapists, free housing, free food, free transportation, undeserved hiring and promotion, protection when walking around at 2 A.M., and so on.

@@brendagomez8656 I'd never trust a fish to say what they like I'd rather ask a fisherman as a fish has no incentive, no urgent need to be right, but a fisherman will starve if he is unsuccessful so you'll have to forgive if I take what you say with a grain of salt, though I'm sure it bares some form of merit.
The psychological literature points to women being rather obviously attracted to dark triad traits specifically, I believe narcissism ranks the highest followed by psychopathy and machiavelianism these traits would rank higher than the typical traits that men have.
Not the same: In short, charisma is a form of competence (social), which men would not need this from a woman necessarily like the other way around to be attracted.
As far as the other point, women are attracted to an amalgamation of things, its holistic.
A narcissistic man would be more attractive than a normal man by simply being self absorbed, he would be more successful at navigating her psychological fitness tests that most of the normal men would fail by caring too much. The same advantage would exist w/the psycho, his lack of emotion would be seen as a form of strength which (strength) is what causes chemical attraction from woman to man.
Nonchalance is also a very powerful arm of social charisma, which requires lower empathy to pull off, which is why these traits would ultimately be attractive, that being said, a psycho would be hard to read because they have little to no emotion to go off of which would come off as mysterious, which is attractive to women, both groups would likely put themselves on a pedestal as oppose to the woman, this means they'd either treat her like crap or they'd just treat her with indifference, this treatment would end up making the woman like the men more as many women tend to respond to poor treatment very well because they coincidentally associate it w/dominance because they assume their social value is less than the person treating them poorly, the constant flux in her emotion from high to low would raise attraction so they'd end up liking the man a great deal. Women also have documented hybristophilia tendencies which is very much inline with psychopathic tendencies.
all of this to say I agree that charisma is what women are attracted to but it's not the full story, charisma is what lures them but other traits keep them. I've gotten women out of their pants off of pure charisma before, but I've lost them later on as a result of lacking enough narcissistic traits to retain interest so to your point your not wrong it's just not the whole story is all I'm saying... the other wildcard is that women tend to like men who already have women, the single men tend to be invisible.

You know how women tend to like men who are older because they are more established financially and more mature? Well.. men in general tend to like younger women because they're more feminine and fertile and men like agreeable women, older women tend to be less agreeable and more jaded, and tend to have more moula than the younger women which means she is harder to please and the man would need more money than her in order to be admired by her.

I think it is ok to have compassion for George-but also realize that his entitlement made him dangerous and that your compassion would not be reciprocated from him. I wish there was a better way to catch on to people like this and give them mental health care before something like this happens. Thanks for covering this Dr. Grande.

I totally agree. I do think society puts an unreasonable amount of pressure on men to be perfect and find a perfect match, but most people look inward towards what is wrong with them instead of blaming others. I guess if this guy is a sociopath he cannot understand emotions and how important it is to communicate on an emotional level with people. I mean, did he have any close friends? That is usually a sign to watch out if a person has NO friends.

It’s shocking that Dr. Grande said he wasn’t attractive. George Sodini was objectively MUCH more attractive than Dr. Grande
Dr. Grande is very myopic. At around 7:28 he says that George contradicted himself. I see no contradiction. One can enjoy traveling but still acknowledge that traveling is no substitute for romance. Where is the contradiction there?

It's insanely creepy how he made a video of the different features of his house because he thought it would attract a woman. It's very robotic, calculating, and possibly even psychopathic.
There is a woman who went on a date with Ted Bundy and ended up abandoning the date when she saw the look in his eyes suddenly change to something demonic.
The term "woman's intuition" exists for a reason, and biology dictates that we can sense when someone is "off".
Many women fall prey when they deny their gut feeling about a guy.

Been through what he went through. I'm not like him in that way. I stopped caring, and trying. If anyone is stressing out about this, I advise finding other avenues. What this man did was not the answer. I drown myself in work and chillax on weekends. I go for long walks, bike rides, write, and draw. Travel. Anything constructive and beneficial to others is the best answer in dealing with personal problems.
