    Why remdesivir is not recommended in mild cases...? As it an antiviral drug...in lower virus load it can be effective right ?! Then the paitent may not enter the next moderate to severe states...

    Please do one for "COVID in pregnancy". Why Remdesivir is C/I in pregnancy & when should it be used in pregnancý?
    Why has AIIMS guidelines recommended 1-2 mg/kg Methylprednisolone in severe COVID.

    its day 21 my mother had Covid,
    she was not admitted to hospital. she had fever for 7/8 days one day I felt some swelling in her lungs stomach area. I measured her spo2 from the start on day 5 or 6 it was around 94,93 now her spo2 is around 96,97 always now she has fatigue and cough should I be worried? does she had pneumonia? is that pneumonia curable by it self?
    what should I do I am so confused I live in a remote place no medical facility pls guide.

      Post covid effect.. monitor her 02 temperature and breathing exercises.. if cough present give her mucolytics

    In HRTC there is consolidation in right & left lower lobe nd CT severity score is 12/15, how much time it will take to recover.

    Which drug your giving to reduce viral load in intial stages ..? why you want patient to wait in home to make him moderate and severe and then bring him to hospital with low oxygen levels and make him die with Experiments on his body ...

      Ivermectin is most effective when it is given early. It should be taken at the first sign of symptoms without waiting for the test result.
      According to flccc, the dosage is based on body weight, 0.2-04mg/kg. Use the upper end for regions with aggressive variants. Take one dose daily for 5 days or until recovered. Take it with or after meal.

    What about Clopidogrel 75 mg + Aspirin 75 mg OD starting on day1-2-3 of onset of symptoms ? Relatively safe without going into D_ dimer and INR lab monitoring

      @@prags9819 one study has confirmed that aspirin can inhibit virus replication by inhibiting prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) in macrophages and upregulation of type I interferon production.

      You should start with 10 litre and keep reducing if he maintains 93+ saturation
      Add methyl prednisolone , revoroxaban . 2-3hours (2-3 times ) in a day make the person sleep in prone position .
      If he is active can ask him do respiratory exercises like in spirometry . Gradually he will improve .

    It's my 12 days
    I am managing saturation around 91-92 without oxygen support with proning.
    I have been taking for 10 days dexamethasone 12 mg and low molecular weight heparin and antibiotics.
    I am 34 with no comorbidities.
    Should I stay in hospital or take discharge.
    Are there chances that my saturation will fall ?

      Consult your doc.
      12 days of dexa must have decreased your inflammation markers. Check CRP IL-6 etc.
      Do you physically feel any better now on the 12th day?

      Do some respiratory exercises , sleep in prone position or side way sleeping . Continue steroids and anticoagulant ...your blood investigations decides your stay , make sure your d dimer CRP platelets are normal .

      Favipiravir is anti viral drug....it has shown to reduce viral load only if given within the first 72hrs of disease...if started after that shows no benefit...
      Loading dose 3600mg followed by 1600mg i.e 800mg BD MORNING AND EVENING...and will reduce viral load only if continued for 14 days ...

      It seems they are far away from reality or under pressure from pharma companies. Half truth half lies.

    Do not reduce fever with antipyrectic drugs in any infection including Corona disease. Because fever is protective mechanism of body during any infection state by which patient's body mobilize the body's immunity system. More the fever more the good for patient's body.

      And blood thinner (anticoagulant)
      But fabiflu was never protocol

    Doctor MUST have a goal of preventing further progress of the mild covid of a patient coming within a couple of days into a moderate or severe form. This doctor, adopting the brutal strategy of americans , wouldn't help a patient of mild covid , he would leave him to mercy of God, doing nothing . After a week, if patient deteriorates and falls in the stage of moderate covid ( pulmonary damage started ) or severe covid, then only he will try to treat. God save those patients who consults this doctor.
