    Great information for us doctors of other specialities. Was looking for such a video by Indian doctor but couldn’t find until now . Thank you . Appreciate. Please cover more topics , advanced and basic both . videos covering basic topics can be made by juniors . Lots of us look up to AIIMS telemedicine channel for guidance.

    Ther is one more way to oxygenate our cells. Normobaric World offers therapies in oxygen cabins. The cabin is a medium-size room where oxygen concentration reaches approx. 40% (a double amount that in ambient air). Moreover, the pressure inside the cabin is 1.5 ATA, allowing complete tissue oxygenation. The increase in pressure allows for better oxygenation of all tissues, and more efficient oxygen intake and usage. To achieve tissue oxygenation effect the concentration of oxygen must be higher than in ambient air. This atmosphere you can experience in Normobaric World. The important beneficial effect of staying in the Normobaric cabin is the increased stem cell creation and circulation in the blood. These stem cells can transform into any other body cell. Therefore, there is a chance for the body to receive complete, natural, deep regeneration and recovery.

    No discussion on pulmonary oxygen toxicity on respiratory epithelium which can itself lead to ARDS by overwhelming damage by oxidizing by high FiO2. No discussion on de-nitrogenation of lung which leads to denitrogenation resorption atelectasis which further aggravates gas exchange. No discussion on fungal and other contamination of oxygen delivery systems.Covid patients are dying because of badly given Oxygen therapy. This lecture is very poor quality.

      @@SujitKumar-nw6pg please Google Oxygen toxicity and you will get articles on it in Wikipedia, pubmed and other places. After reading those you come back to me I will explain to you. I am medical specialist Doctor.

      @@rdsvrs9975Google says that giving too much oxygen, i.e giving oxygen when spo2 is more than 95, is oxygen toxicity.

    • @rdsvrs9975
      @rdsvrs9975 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@SujitKumar-nw6pg atmosphere contains 21 percent Oxygen and 78 percent Nitrogen which we inhale and our respiratory system is adapted to that. Oxygen is strong oxidant and tends to cause damage to respiratory cells which our body protects by generating antioxidants but as the concentration of oxygen increases these antioxidants become inadequate to protect. 100 percent Oxygen start causing damage in few hours leading to death in matters hours (if respiratory system is inflamed) and days in normal persons. O2 concentration above 45 percent also leads to damage but at slower rate. In simple words Oxygen promotes burning as you know from chemistry and if respiratory system is inflamed as in case of covid then giving too much Oxygen ie above 45 percent will lead to respiratory damage and respiratory failure which will be mistakenly attributed to covid as covid can also cause same. While treating covid most of Doctors are unaware of this and giving Oxygen rampantly at high concentration and high speed thus contributing to damage and also to Oxygen scarcity. There are several more mechanisms by which O2 can cause damage. Nitrogen protects us from Oxygen damage, when we give high Oxygen this leads to nitrogen washout ie Denitrogenation of lungs, nitrogen is responsible for keeping lungs inflated after exhalation which results in collapse breathing units ( alveoli). These all things leads ultimately to poor gas exchange and severe inflammation from which even after recovery patient will be left with lungs with decrease capacity. If you are medical student then you can reads this in medical journals other wise read Wikipedia Oxygen toxicity. articles along with links. I rated this lecture as poor because the lecturer failed to mentioned these things which are absolutely essential to know before prescribing Oxygen therapy safely.

      @@rdsvrs9975 sir, actually I have lost my father recently. Due to lack of beds and oxygen in hospitals he was given oxygen therapy at home through nasal prongs as he had severe covid19 . He was recovering but suddenly his spo2 started decreasing. We went to hospital where Hrct showed a large pneumothorax and CT severity score was 24 and he died in hospital. That's what I was asking whether it was oxygen toxicity or covid19?
