Glad you enjoyed it...thanks a lot
brighting inspired and talented visual production! Excellent perform!
Thank you so much!
Two days without rain? That’s great going. We typically get an hour or two a day without rain at the moment. The bees are scary this year, I’ve had a few fly directly at me and one that refused to get out of our car the other day, something strange about them! Must be the wettest year on record. Feel like I’m getting a good handle on the Peaks District after watching these. Nice entrance to that estate. We heard our cur first skylark of the year the other week. Padded seats, very cosy. No picnic reveal, that’ll be a mark off from Mike! Well done on the swallow spot. Mysteriously absent butterfly. Nice approach to Agden. Almost half way through your list now. Well deserved pint. That’s quite a significant hike, well done! 👍
Yeah 2 days without rain...been out today to do a video on Rotherham...lovely sunny sunday...hope for something similar next weekend.
Two for the price of one!! Yea, I'm coming! I think I must have jinxed the weather by mentioning too how nice it was to see the sun! Rain came back with a vengeance! Amazing to see all that moss!! What I wish was on this side of the pond was some of those amazing rock walls!! That sure was a great day out!!
Hi Bruce...another wet day...surely it can't carry on much longer...cheers mate.
Beautiful area, very serene, just the way I like it.
I agree!
Hello Steven 👋. The scenery is beautiful and perfect for a walk 👍. Thank you 🙏🏻 for sharing. Have a great day. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪 Kenn.
Thank you so much 👍
Another interesting place to explore, thanks for the amazing views.
Thank you too
Another great video and an area I'm not familiar with... It doesn't look like you saw another rambler - perfect! A bit of a hidden gem I'd say. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Nathan....yes a very quiet few hours....just how i like it.
Enjoyed this, looks stunning. Hopefully all this mud will dry out soon. Love the padded seat for your break. Was lovely to hear the birds singing. Cute lambs. That wind sounded rough at times. Another two done. Thank you for sharing. Best wishes Dave and Dawn♥
Thanks...the padded seat was fantastic....could have sat there for ages but it started chucking it down, so i moved on.
Another great video Steve
Hopefully the weather will improve soon and that mud will start to dry.
How lovely to hear the birds 🐦
Padded seat how lovely
Pint was definitely deserved
Hope you had a good weekend 😊
Thanks....hope you enjoyed your weekend too...the way time flies it will soon be time for another
This was an awesome walk...I must give you credit, you walk through it all...so windy out there and so many miles almost 11 is awesome! Beautiful back yard I will give you that! Lovely to walk with you....see you later then! BYE!
Thanks Donna...lovely of you to drop by for a look...appreciate that.

Thanks mate....sure is gorgeous around those parts
Some cracking old buildings and views as always.. As a wise man once said to me.."Chin up, we'll be moaning about the heat soon" 😁😁😁😁😁
Thanks Mike...sounds like that wise man know's his stuff.
@@atrampinthehills.841 😁😁😁😁
That was great Steve. That reservoir was full to overflowing with all this rain.
Lovely walk but shame it wasn’t a bit brighter for you. 👍
Thanks Phil..yeah if there is a hosepipe ban this year, i think there will be a riot.
outstanding . . . thumbs up 👍🎥💯
Thanks for the visit
Superb sharing 💞! Lots of love and respect from a solo mountain hiker friend from the Hindu Kush Mountains Lower Chitral District of Pakistan!
Thanks so much...really appreciate your comment.
Another great hike Steven. It seems like you had windy weather. Thanks for sharing. I need to get back out there. You must be well on your way to 1,000 miles this year.
Cheers Chris...nowhere near 500 miles yet, let alone 1000...but i will get there...yeah i am sure that wind follows me around.
Saw our first Swallow in Norfolk two weeks ago. No Cuckoo yet.
30 miles a week !! No wonder you’re getting through 75 Peaks so quickly. We’re enjoying them 👍
Thanks folks...always great to hear from you
Lovely walk m8, thanks for taking us on such a familier area 👍
No problem 👍
Nice to see the beautiful countryside that is effectively your back yard. I have yet to hear my first cuckoo this year...❤❤😊
Thanks David...i consider myself very lucky to have this a short drive from home.
Nice film that, another 2 down!!!!
Thanks Stuart.
Lovely hike, and good job! Glad no one shot you! 😁
Thanks...it was a good day to be out and about.
Beautiful out there! So green out there right now. It's just awesome to see😃
Good job with the ascent! That's a great day of climbing😁
Thanks 👍...yes very GREEN...i suppose we have something to thank all this rain for.
@@atrampinthehills.841 that's the spirit! Think of the positives😁😁
Nice one Steve. I really like that area. The church at High Bradfield is one of my favourites. I visted Agden Side last autumn and very nearly sat on a wasp's nest when eating my picnic! There was a shore lark that hung about High Bradfield for a few weeks not long back too. 👍
Hi Chris...nice to hear from you mate..i would never have guessed in a million years that there was a Shore lark hanging around in Bradfield....just goes to show you never know what you might see
Nice one Steve. Some there that are on my lust to do. That tower on Strines being one of them. Excellent vlog as usual 👌
Thanks 👍...it's a great walking area...don't eat your sandwiches in Boots folly...there is a few years worth of Sheep s**t in there.
Just read my comment back. I put LUST 😂😂 not list. We are used to sheep 💩 that's all we keep on the farm.
@@peakyplodders This is about a foot deep
Great walk that one mate , i clocked my first swallow last weekend. Top stuff as always
Cheers pal...appreciate that.
Great trip 😊
Thanks...kind of you
A good trek out there today Steve. That hill did look like a B*stard indeed. A good job there was a bench at the top, I think I'd suggest a defibrillator too! A well deserved pint at the end.
Thanks Andy...that bench at the top, came in vey handy i can tell you that.
That did look a tough one Steve, all those ups and downs, and made a lot harder from all the mud too. Beautiful walk though. Good to see Boots Folly again and I love Bradfield of course. Hope you enjoyed your muffin 👍
Thanks Patrick...hope you are on the mend.
@@atrampinthehills.841 Cheers Steve, still not feeling great unfortunately, but I'm out of hospital now and back home thankfully 👍
that bird most of been a female saying every think twice lol .that was a jazzy blue coat matey .not seen any swollows but have been playing with a new app that tells you what birds are singing near you . hope you was,nt taking the wee wee out of me trying to get up hills 🤣🤣🤣 great vlog again matey 👌👌
Glad you like the jazzy blue coat mate...not taking the wee wee mate, i was just waffling bollocks for the sake of it...cheers pal.
Love it. Looked a real toughy!
But peaceful remote and absolutely beautiful. 😍
Firsts list. What a great idea mate. You ought to find that out. I bet it’s an eye opener now.
Saw our first Swallow in your ol neck of the woods last week down near Halesworth.
Well done on those two. Definitely looked the toughest yet!!
That pint looked good!!!!
Thanks Dave...always good to see the years first Swallow...i looked back at the list, i had been doing it for 11 years...not much change in the Swallows arrival, always the 2nd week in April...the Cuckoo was a surprise...this one was the earliest i have ever heard one, usually last week in April , first week in May...another on my list was the Swift...1st or 2nd week in May...looking forward to those little screamers on a summers evening.
@@atrampinthehills.841 no Cuckoos or Terns here yet mate. That’s an early one. Love Swifts.
PS... Congrats on the swallow... I had my first Skylark the other day
Nice!!...
Brilliant...Where was the running water in your intro...kept hearing it through my headphones but didn't see any ?...The sky did look dark but still makes great moody filming...loved the way you kept looking nervously behind you at the hunting party🤣...not funny really, been in the same situation over kinder when they used to set off from the Grouse Inn...They asked me once to be a beater but I refused...Like your list of firsts...still waiting for the first day without rain this year...Beautiful views Steven and your insults at the B*****d hill made me laugh, well done for conquering Agden Rotter...Yes a well earned pint...don't usually bother myself😉...Loved this one and this one up to now has been my favourite...30 miles a week...WHAT...got a job to drive that far never mind walk it...Cheers Les.🙂👍
Hi Les...i think the running water was a small stream beside the road, and there was you thinking you were going mad !!...smashed my 30 mile limit this week as i managed 34...they all add up....cheers mate.
Hi Stephen,I can’t believe your clocking them tops up …it only seems 5minutes ago you did the very first one !I’ve been watching you since lockdown &I can vaguely remember you both on your hands &kness 😊but I think you made a meal of the bastard hill 😅I got up it before you lol …(joke !…but woooo weeee that pint looked good …well deserved 😊I saw my fist bluebell today &it looked beautiful……&I agree with you on the butterfly’s ….i think the strange weather &climate has changed everything!being an environmentalist…that hurts 🤔🫤anyway enough rambling on …..I think another thankyou is in order buddy …so thank you 😊cheers Ruth 😊
Thanks Ruth...yeah i am getting through them rather quick...there is always a new project around the corner..really appreciate your continued support
@@atrampinthehills.841 Stephen I’m not sure if you remember me lol but you were in my class …so it’s a pleasure to support an old school buddy 🙂
@@ruthharper-ep9lu Of course i remember you miss Jessop
