Installed my brace along with the pitch stop mount and trans mount. Made a massive difference in the feel of the car. Lucky for you that you have a FMIC, made the install easier.
@@ohlins_5110 well i also have installed the cobb stage one and running continentals 265 35 r 18 and when i launched it at 5200 rmps the tires of the car griped extremely and launched harder then ever
10:13 I have the GroupN mount on my STI and i think it's a really good sweet spot between having a confidence inspiring solid mount, but almost no increase in NVH
I have the Perrin Pitch stop but not the brace on my 2015 WRX Premium with now around 71K miles. Should I bother with the brace? I don't want to spend this sort of money right now. If I leave it alone I think that is OK so long as it isn't cracked up and all. Last I checked it wasn't cracked and I don't hear loud clunking when driving. If this fixes the annoying issue when in traffic if I left off the gas on and off sometimes I can get this back and forward subtle lurching back and forth.
As per the Subaru TSB they are replacing with the upgraded 2mm pitch stop bracket. I will be installing this brace so this hopefully does not happen again. The process requires removing the entire engine and transmission for welding the new $69 bracket totaling over $1500 for labor.
Is this just for the wrx or is this an issue with the sti model as well. I would think it would be the same since the wrx/sti share the same chassis. I just have never seen this before on any ones sti
I heard the 2016 and up improved the thickness of the OEM bracket? I installed the Pitch Stop on my 18'. Curious if anyone has had any problems with newer WRX's?
oh ok, love the channel. Keep up the good work. Looks like you're near JBLM. My brother works there and we come up from Norcal often. Maybe I can check out your work in person one day. Just got my WRX at the new year.

The 2018 has a thicker bracket it’s only 2015-2017 that has been prone to cracking under stress. The 2018 models got the new style bracket.
808 shooter interesting, any other differences between 15-17 and 18 models i should be aware of?
Jared Coolguy 18+ has 6 piston front brakes instead of 4 pots
I got a 2018 sti and i launched it once with 9.5 wide wheels and snapped my pitch stop mount in half soooooo not better
@@brianhunley5865 how did u do that??? U must have high torque #s

This is one of the first mods I did with my wrx, install was super easy. Perrin makes good stuff!

I just got the bushing and shift stop installed... I think the bushing is excellent. Getting a Whiteline rear sway next 22mm.
Been on your channel since 10k .. have always wondered. What do you do for living?
I'm torn between buying this or a oil cooler kit for my 2015 WRX.🤔 Really I need both.
This only applies to WRX models on after a certain date there is a TSB on it for cars that need the upgrade
Source?
Do you have to Install the New Clutch line given or Could I keep it stock?

I kinda like your video’s (i’m watching since the B is for Build colab), but please fix your focus!
Worst thing I done....sounded like car was falling apart...took it off and sent back
Awesome bro!!
How long did it take you to complete the install?
Do these fit Rh drive vehicles
What fmic piping is that??

The STI has a stiffer tranny mount which puts less stress on the pitch stop brace.
Good work man keep it up!
Where do you work at!?
Do you have a Perrin Master cylinder brace installed on your WRX also??
