I'm getting very tired of using thumb screws....thanks for pointing out another company that makes 'quality of life' products that will soon become replacements for my old thumb screw mounts!❤
I got the plane version (no cap lock) of that small selfie tripod grip thing. I ripped the big washer off to reveal the 1/4-20 screw underneath. Now it works perfectly with the Hero12 in the Media Mod and the cold show holds my Rode Wireless ME receiver. Great piece of kit.

So the real selling question is, does the caplock work with the media mod? you only showed the go pro with out it.

me, when you have to buy all their stuff and not i have to remove it for my inkee falcon gimbal and gravigrip which I use quite often. the old gopro snap in quick release stuff makes more sense to me.

Just love my PGY tech stuff. I have a different type to the cap lock, for my dlsr camera but works for the gopro maybe over kill.

Are you kidding me? I just bought 7 from Ulanzi and Telesin accessories for my DGI action last night on one of your other videos. What terrible timing LOL at least I don't see all the cool looking magnets on these.

GoPro secretly owns all these companies and are making a killing by selling all these quick connect accessories to their customers. DJI and Insta360 have all these quick connects built in.
I've tried over and over with many different GoPros, I wanna like em but they overheat and are so glitchy so I finally sold mine. That was the third one for me and I'm done.

At this point all these companies are producing the same thing over and over. Maybe slight variations. Someone needs to create something new. The card reader isnt bad, just wish it could be customized per user rather that wasting space.

_'Feels like quality'_ - is a subjective claim.
I'm sure the manufacturers can support personal opinions like that if they are indeed fact, by providing an insight of what was actually used in manufacturing - a tetrachloropolymer plastic body (or similar), aluminium locking mechanisms, Teflon socket mounts, silicon grip area... etc.
It's all too easy to make unsubstantiated statements in a cash for comment scenario, which is exactly what this is.

Proprietary mounts is not my thing, you have to buy into the whole ecosystem to make it worth it. Cool but not for me 👎
