  • I can't believe it has been over a year since I reviewed the Telesin GoPro Neck Mount. Today, I think we have a new king of POV by PGYTech. Watch my video for more info as to why I recommend the Caplock action cam neck mount.
    I filmed this video on both the Osmo Pocket 3 as well as the Osmo Action 4. Both worked flawlessly and will become my go to for content creation from now on!

    PGYTECH’s neck mount with the strap now becomes the chest mount lol.

    Last year I ordered the Telesin mount after watching your video and also shared the video on DJI forum, and I do really love it when you get used to how to mount it. But now I am considering this PGYTECH since it is just easier to mount, and also you get the strap included. What I struggle with the Telesin is the size, as for my plowing POV shots, it need to be outside my jacket that also covering my neck in the cold.
    Btw DJI released their version about a month after I had shared your video on the forum, coincidence or? 😃

    I almost ordered the Telesin before the TH-cam algorithm showed me this video instead. Now, I’m waiting for this Pgytech mount to come in the post instead. The included chest strap made the difference.

    i like how they updated the design but being 6'1 and 210 pounds I wish it was longer like the new telesin mounts. I guess i'm going to have to go with the telesin mount and find a strap like you showed in the old video. Thanks for this video man, currently buying a new go pro and preparing to travel and you are helping a lot with your reviews! cheers

    Good review! Could you make one shifted towards the usability during summer? Would you suggest them for light watersport activity? Are they floating? If not, what could you use in combination to them, in order to be sure that the action camera would float? Thank you!

    I want to ask if i dont use the strap for PGYTech, is it still as strong and stable as telesin?
    Also, has anybody tried the DJI action hanging neck mount?

    Have you tried modifying the POV mount in any way to be able to use the Osmo Pocket 3 with it? I guess it would need to sit a little lower on your chest to not hit your chin. This is something I would like to figure out.

    • @ToasterVentura
      @ToasterVentura  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I need the GoPro accessory amount then you can use the OP3 with it. There is a mounted mode on the OP3 intended for this use case.

    I'm buying this mount because of your review, I'm a mobile Auto tech and film my jobs for documentation, currently using a phone that constantly overheats, occupies a hand, and kills the battery lol. What camera would you recommend? I have a cheap akso or whatever it is that i actually use to mount under vehicles to help in finding difficult to find noises and such... I won't be doing that with a higher quality camera lol.

    • @ToasterVentura
      @ToasterVentura  17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Awesome man! Well if you just need a beater camera I'd say get a used GoPro 9 or something like that. The image stabilization is still good if you want to use the camera for other stuff if you change your mind. DJI Action 1 is also one of my favorite too and its super cheap now on used market. those camera will do the trick!

    • @ToasterVentura
      @ToasterVentura  16 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @madmike214 I think all action cam will overheat at some point. Tested GoPro 12 and it overheated, my action 4 would get warm after a while as well.

    I bought this PGYTECH CapLock neck mount and I must say it is an absolute rubbish! Put a camera on it and walk around in a quiet street. Or walk around in a store where no music is playing and quiet. Don't pace around at 1 mph like a 90 year old. Walk like you going somewhere. There's too much gap between the removable camera holder and the base hence it wiggles. Therefore at every step you make the microphone picks up the noise as the two plastic pieces bump together. Very annoying to say the least. If you ride a motorcycle or you're in the city or visit places where there's noise around you, chances are you won't hear it. I think PGYTECH did a bad job with this design!
