I live in Minnesota and I am seeing more and more people standing at intersections with signs asking for money, even in the suburbs. I live a very nice development in the city of Ramsey with a 2 1/2 acre wooded lot and my daughter found a tent in the woods on our property. The police told us it was a homeless tent. This isn't just Florida, it's happening everywhere.

Jose. Love your videos. But you need to know the difference between a homeless person and bum!!
A homeless person is someone that is going through some hard difficult time and lost his home.
A bum is a lazy person that chooses to be lazy and beg for money. Lots of them on the side of the road. Florida is more and more full of them.
My wife is from Ocala and I’ve been going there for the past 20yrs and yes it gone shit!

The homeless women in the red tank top at 2:14 used to beg for quite awhile at an intersection in Miami a few years ago. I recognized her immediately. Her signs never said anything about children back then. This was around the time of the pandemic. I live in a wealthy area in a miami suburb and I assure you that many people here would get very involved seeing a homeless woman on the side of the road mentioning children in need, which is probably why she never said that here because people would have questions and start offering professional help/resources. So either she’s lying or she decided to go and have three children as an already homeless women in a time span of a few years. I always help homeless people, but I never trusted this women. I think it’s a drug/ or pimp situation going on. Very sad to see she hasn’t gotten out of that situation.

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS its actually quite haunting to see her on a video. She didn’t have shoes back when she begged here, and she lost a very noticeable amount of weight before she left. She was actually on the heavier side when I first saw her. She always was wearing the workout clothes. I think it could potentially be a pimp situation. There was another women here that actually was pregnant as she would show her stomach with the shirt tied up. She had two pregnancies. I used to give her money and then one day I saw her taking the money to a man at a gas station. He counted it and it was hundreds of dollars (like over $500). I think people caught on to her gig as well and she left town.

In my former hometown in Ohio it’s a measly 43° and cloudy. There are homeless people all over the United States. As I’m watching this video I’m thinking to myself “who gives a crap?” Enjoy the day. Go to the beach, visit a restaurant or go for a jog in a nice park. How could someone be so miserable when there’s so much sunshine and warmth? Move to Chicago and freeze for 8 months since Florida is so “horrible”.

I don't believe what you are saying about Gainesville Florida. Not sure why you are making it sound like Gainesville Florida is like California. Maybe people are living in the woods. But not on the sidewalks at all. No homeless person i have ever seen living on a tent shooting up on a sidewalk in Alachua County. Shooting up and feces on city sidewalks is absolutely not tolerated. The people in Gainesville are liberal people, but they are not corrupt and they do not tolerate people using drugs and living on a sidewalk. They would be arrested for drugs. Or whatever you call using the bathroom on the sidewalk. No tent is allowed to be setup near a sidewalk or park area. As well, people in Gainesville Florida are very highly intelligent and resourceful people. They help each other, and they do not tolerate sex offenders. I am commenting this at 6:39 on this post video, so i have not watched the rest to see if what you are saying is visually documented. I have not been to Gainesville in a year. There used to be homeless people near the Courthouse because there is a homeless shelter and services there, but there was never any open drug use ever that i saw since 1988.

Homelessness and poverty have numerous causes and they all require a nuanced approach. Many of the homeless have mental health issues that need to be addressed by both society and the individual who has to want the help and cannot be forced.
Poverty in general has to be done with a nuanced approach and that includes the people living in poverty to take ownership of their problems so they can begin to fix them. Government assistance on its own will not help if people do not take ownership over tghe problems even if they did not cause them.

0:59 From a self preservation tactical position don't tell someone you're armed. If you need to create distance and draw your weapon than do it but don't tell a potential bad guy that you are armed. At least that's what I think. *YMMV*

I'm amazed they started to appear in US, is long way, i heard they get in like Mexicans because they look alike too .....I saw them in other US video they appear more and more, finally they choose other destination far from Europe, i hope they take all family members with them...there in desert somewhere

5/29/23...Nice video. I moved from Atlanta, GA to Lake Co, Central FL when I retired 10 yrs ago.
My rescue 🐕 has loved her big fenced yard in a nice HOA run 53 home 55+ community near The Villages....
Times have changed in the 10 yrs we've been here so HOPE we can continue to live here before too many border crossers "invade" + make this area less safe.
I guess drugs are everywhere but I DON'T like the new FL pot dispenseries b/c they are a "draw" for crime/criminals/bad ppl with bad intentions + NO work ethics.
