There are people out there that have mansions and millions of dollars and are incredibly miserable! And I know what he is talking about; this world has changed tremendously. We never would have believed how our children and grandchildren could mess things up so much! But no, I envy this man. If my health wasn't so bad I'd probably be right out there too. But I need doctors nearby and they don't make housecalls like they used to!!
That’s what they wanted and now it’s killing them. As for me, all I want is a place in the mountains where there’s a stream or lake near by to go trout fishing and I would be a happy camper.
I know what you mean. I would be all over the place if I didn’t need doctors all the time but I have doctors I have to go to. I am elderly now, and not in the greatest of health so I have to pretty much stick around
I'm not far behind you. Children and grand children messed things up .... everything was just a-okay when our generation was calling the shots? My ass! They just took what we got rolling and moved it along.
Nice fella. I'm glad I watched this interview. 😊 integrity is a great virtue
My man! This is how a sage looks like. I love this man, he's legit.
He's not homeless people. He's a real life hobo. God bless. What a life.
What a fascinating guy. Even though he says he wants to be alone, it seems like he makes friends easily.
Yes, I do like people I love everyone it’s just that you can trust no one anymore. Thank you.
Now he knows how to be happy. I live in a cabin and live simple myself.
Nothing wrong with that at all. I would love go go homestead but I’m to old to start now. I have been prepping since 09/11/01. I have alotnof goods stored. Be a mofo to move for me. I would love to do it. Still committed to wife and 2 kids tho

@PaulMcelveenjr. Woot! 😲 Very nice, sir! Your interview was enjoyable and really refreshing. It's nice to see that normal, honest people are still around our nation! Your adventurous stories were great, like reading a book. Take care of yourself, and keep looking out for other people whenever you feel led. It made me smile! ☺️

I Really Love how his eyes lit up telling his story. He has enjoyed his life and that's what counts! Very nice man💞💞💞
Living a simple life made him happier ❤ 😮
It's so true 😊
This man is so beautiful and modest. He shares a lot of wisdom for anyone who wants to listen ❤
He is a good man and loves a simple life! He loves his little dog! I’ve heard that a dog is man’s best friend !Yes he has such kind and gentle eyes!He speaks well!May God’s blessings keep him safe always in this life and the here after!🙏🏻
That dog is far happier and treated better by a homeless man than it would be by an affluent family.
The best video iv seen in a long time what a happy down to earth man we all have a lot to learn from him God bless that man

What a great guy! I'm so glad he enjoys his life, but it's a shame that he has to battle such horrible conditions to live this way.
He doesn’t see it as horrible.
@@sandrajohnson7702 True, but I live in Florida. The weather conditions are what I'm mainly referring to. I can't imagine how anyone would enjoy living outside here, year round. And then of course, the bugs and the unstable people he has to deal with. Good on him if he can avoid and stay safe from them.
He doesn't see it that way at all! He wouldn't have it any other way. Those piercing blue all-knowing eyes.... striking.
Now that is a very sensible man. He has learned some important life lesson during his 69 years.
He's a real American, the way it used to be in 50's and 60's 😊😊😊

Having worked as a long distance truck driver I have many stories and could write a book but this man has many more stories than I do. The name hobo is short for homeward bound given to men traveling home after returning from war. Interesting interview.👍
Guess I should of read all they comments before posting my trivia question.
Nice fella. We need more like him.
I am 80 and live good on SSA pay. I worked all my life in the oilfield. I am a Vet and have the VA health care. I have a car and rent an apartment. I eat good all on SS but I live in a small town.
Come to Florida and find out if its enough rents start at 2590 for a 1/1
VA Healthcare is awesome in my area...love it.

This ole dude might just have “life” figured out. He’s out there in nature with no stresses of normal city life and just living a stress free lifestyle very simple but very few problems. Gotta give him props for that!😎

I love this man. The realest soul ever. Much respect ✌️❤️
I don't normally comment on anything but that was worth it. Would love to find him and have a proper chat. He is what we need these days honest kind and real.
This man is awesome and an inspiration to the humble in Christ.
Remember the bible says how one gets into Christ Ga 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. or Romans 6:3-6 Water baptism is the one baptism commanded Acts 10:47-48
This man may be homeless but has respect and dignity and morels which is alot dont drink or do drugs not like today the homeless are drug addicts. And violent there thiefs.i have no respect or compassion 4 them. But this man dont ask 4 nothing he dont blame anybody. Sir i hope u see the comments. Because i salute you and god bless you and protect you
Thank you, Paul Viggle I do see the comments and thank you very much
He said he is now homeless, got his tent & comforts in the woods.
Not all of us drink or do drugs. Some of us work too.
@@amycarolineott6575
Not all of us but most do
You have world leaders and millionaires in mansions who do drugs and are addicted to alcohol also.....Stop putting addiction on just the homeless because it's a battle all walks of life face due to coping issues our leaders and TPTB inflict on the masses.
Totally chill guy and those crystal blue eyes are gorgeous! Stay healthy and safe sir!🙏🌈😊
There's nothing wrong with this guy, he has a better lifestyle than us all, no worries.. God bless him.😃

He really reminds me of my Dad that spent most his life working on large engines and ice fishing near the Canadian/New England border. I think what we see is a good man who's truly comfortable in his own skin
I did some prospecting in Colfax California for a couple of years that was some wonderful times also

We all could learn a lot from this gentleman. I've learned quite a bit in just this interview. God bless you buddy.
The things those beautiful eyes must have witnessed ❤
What a wonderful man. I had to watch this as perhaps he could have been one of my long lost Florida Uncles. But alas, since he doesn't drink, he's most certainly not. He does remind me of my favorite Granpa who has passed. Started riding the railroads as a child in his early teens and finally settled down in Miami Florida, working as a tile setter and fathering 9 children. Living a humble life in poverty but rich in character and a great ability to love, tell a great story, or sing a good song with his guitar. Old songs telling a story of their own. God I loved him and miss him. I'll see him in heaven no doubt. He too believed in do no harm.
Thank you for this interview and the blunt and to the point way of telling your story. An interesting life you've lived. I don't blame you for seperating yourself from the world we now live in. Yes it is true, too many are only out for themselves. See you in heaven brother, you are loved.

I'm 57 years old. I live in Olympia Washington. I was homeless up here for 6 years and he's right. There's a lot of people doing drugs. Very few aren't but if you have a level head and a kind heart I got through it. If you have a chance to tell the young man that you just interviewed. Thank you. It was a great story
I am in Olympia too.
Im in ohio i had a uncle move out there and he was homeless on the streets of the capital for years. Not on drugs or a drunk but was very dif than othere. But he was so smart! He had like 5 dif degrees im collage could of had a good job but did not. He was happy on the streets. Was not until the last close to a year of his life before he got a apartment. One day we got no more phone calls from him called the ppl who he rented from they found him dead when he was trying to get in the shower. Sorry so long but there is good ppl who chose to live on the street and free.
I read the reviews and you are very welcome Frederick
One day..a whole lot of us are gonna be homeless...and if and when it comes..we will survive with God's help

Well he's a true patriot who loves to live off the land and does not want to be controlled by our government. All respect to him for a living the life that he chose. God bless him and may he be left alone to live his life peacefully the way he wants to. And as he said about the other man he needs help not control but our government wants absolute control and I praise him for not giving up his right for what he wants. May he be blessed in all his endeavors and may God protect him through his journey amen
