I like that you are honest about why you don't wear your natural texture. So many creators claim that the natural style broke their hair off, but in reality, it's the way they handle their hair that broke it off. A lot of times people are impatient and rough when they style and that's how its damaged. The minute they outsource their hair care; the hair gets healthier and that would be the case whether its straight or curly.

@@natrulv2783 exactly!! Hair can grow whether you wear your hair natural straight or relaxed. Its the way you care for your hair that matters

I get what you’re saying 💯% totally but I don’t think you should phrase it as though you are not wearing your hair natural because it is blown out. Girl, You absolutely are still wearing it natural. That’s your hair simply blown or pressed out with some heat, that’s all. It’s all you babe, you’re still natural!

Your 100% right, this is the hair that God blessed me with growing out my scalp 😂. I’d rephrase it as not longer a “heatless” natural. Thanks for watching! 💕🫶🏾

January 2024 i decided i was no longer styling my hair with extensions, wigs, braiding hair, etc. I blow dry my hair after every wash and use additional heat styling tools when I want. My only issue that I will work on next year is getting regular professional trims, which I neglected this year. I’ve been doing myself and not sure if I’m doing a great job lol. But my hair has been doing great and I’ve never been this much in love with my hair.

😂😂, thats great to hear! Yes the protective styles only protect so much. Im glad you are falling in love with your hair! I feel the same way, thanks for watching ☺️

I’m down also because I’m natural and I don’t like doing anything to my hair 🎉❤no super tight hairstyle’s I can’t do it. That’s why I do my own hair.

I've literally been a bald headed baddie / short haired natural for over a decade because at a point I realized that I was not tryna be bothered with the whole process, like you said. Now though, I kinda want some hair, and I feel like what that'll look like for me is also straightbacks or just wild and free. I don't think most other groups of women have to think so intently about what their hair is doing or looks like, and I want that kind of ease.

@@kamillebest5152 I can relate! funny thing is i just got some straightbacks today so i wont have to be bothered for a month and i can still tend to my scalp.

Yesss 👏🏾👏🏾 Manipulation every night for that certain look broke off so much hair. IM OVER IT. Its either staying in a protective style, under a scarf, or stretched in a low bun. No more stress in 2025.

I absolutely agree with all of this, I’ve been on this journey for a year now and my hair has never been better! I can now wash and style my hair in under 2 hours, no more “wash days”.

I feel you sis on every point you hit on. Starting January ill be a heat trained natural, I feel my hair grows and thrive better in a stretched out state. Thanks for sharing, new subbie, lets connect.🎉Be Blessed!♥

Just a suggestion dont cancel the all-day wash day for every month. Balance is key . it's sort of like an assessment each time to know if something is working for you.

I’m sooooo lazy, it’s ridiculous! My hair annoys me because I hate wigs and I can’t find a style that can help me keep my hair happy and healthy smh. I don’t want to do it, but I refuse to pay these stylers the prices they ask for. It’s ridiculous
