Not replacing this plastic component could leave you stranded

  • The plastic heater hose T's are notorious for cracking. This can leave you stranded on the side of the road or could cause damage to the engine if you continue to drive without noticing. I cant find the Ih8mud post that I got the idea from but it is out there somewhere.

    Did this without new hoses... They were fine, not brittle... Been 2 yrs, no leak 👍

    Its Vital To change this, I know a guy who replaced 3 Toyota Noah engines only to know the T were the ones starving the engine of coolant

    I need help please. I have a problem with the entry of speeds as they adore speeds ie the car is in the speed of 60 and is in gear 4 Is this problem has nothing to do with the change of oil and filter in time?

    Made in China....no thanks - I'm sure it works fine for now, but those worm clamps will eventually chew away at the hoses, plus with those extra ribs inside...I'm not completely sold on the brass fitting idea. Oem fittings/hoses for me. Anyhoo, thanks for taking the time and making the effort on this video. We need more LX470 content.
