The red aura could also represent Radahn's return, at that very moment. His rune was always shown to blaze in red fire, like the fires used to halt the spread of Rot. Miquella even states his return, shortly after his aura is produced.

Hm, what do you guys think what would happen if Miquella didn't join Radahn in the fight? Seeing his second phase cutscene again and again makes me think he would use more gravity magic and would have full access to Mogh's blood flame, which Miquella extinguishes when you see the blood flame around Radahn being replaced by holy.
Yeah pretty much, I think that since it's Mohg's body, Radahn was going to use to Formless Mother's powers in order to beat us up. Miquella doesn't want that because he wants none of the Outer Gods' machinations, so he charms Radahn to not use these powers. Maybe Radahn would have developped wings? He thanks Malenia for attempting to kill Radahn on Miquella's orders and us, the Tarnished, for finishing the job so that Miquella can take Radahn's soul that flows into the Realm of Shadows as it's where all death is drawn to and put Radahn's soul into Mohg's body so that Miquella can more readily control Radahn since he didn't want to go along with Miquella's new order and Miquella's charm magic wasn't working on him.

Got this guy down today, took me maybe an hour of attempts all up. I was expecting much, much worse, but the fact I was able to get it done relatively easily really is testament to how Elden Ring gives you pretty much free choice as to how difficult you want the game to be. I'm not proud of myself for using the cheesiest tactics possible, but hey, it's all in the game... as they say in The Wire.
The lightning bottle with the rolling spark ash seems to work. Grearshields with magic grease also do pretty good defense wise. Bleed does work though it doesn't proc often unless using fast weapons.
rot worked well for me; if you can get time and/or survive a hit long enough to get a scarlet aeonia off it'll tick for a LONG time and take some of the pressure off edit for more info: i used a crucible knight build with the horned greatshield and devonia's hammer, block what you can, dodge what you can't and ideally wait for him to do the big gravity meteors attack in the air, if he doesn't immediately go into the gravity spin that's usually your best opening to try to scarlet aeonia
Rot and bleed Alot of people right now are using fingerprint sheilds and rot/bleed imbued spears in order to cheese him because its too difficult to fight him regularly. I managed to beat him with an entire blackflame build. So it’s possible to use other tactics. You just have to know what moves are punishable or not.

Im Glad i took my time with the DLC slowly doing the NPCs questlines. I learnt from Ansbach quest when you give him a secret scroll that Miquella used Mogh not only to gain entrance to the land of shadows (using Omen curse to lose his grace, similar to how the Dung Eater does it), but to also use Mogh's body as a vessel for his King Consort(Radahn).
This is why at 12:00, you can actually see Omen horns on Radahn's arms and why he is now capable of using Bloodflame attacks during the boss fight. (Just like the Omen Twins Morgott and Mogh)

Yeah pretty much, I think that since it's Mohg's body, Radahn was going to use to Formless Mother's powers in order to beat us up. Miquella doesn't want that because he wants none of the Outer Gods' machinations, so he charms Radahn to not use these powers.

I used a shield and Greatsword.
Hit him harder
The lightning bottle with the rolling spark ash seems to work. Grearshields with magic grease also do pretty good defense wise. Bleed does work though it doesn't proc often unless using fast weapons.
rot worked well for me; if you can get time and/or survive a hit long enough to get a scarlet aeonia off it'll tick for a LONG time and take some of the pressure off
edit for more info: i used a crucible knight build with the horned greatshield and devonia's hammer, block what you can, dodge what you can't and ideally wait for him to do the big gravity meteors attack in the air, if he doesn't immediately go into the gravity spin that's usually your best opening to try to scarlet aeonia
Rot and bleed
Alot of people right now are using fingerprint sheilds and rot/bleed imbued spears in order to cheese him because its too difficult to fight him regularly.
I managed to beat him with an entire blackflame build. So it’s possible to use other tactics. You just have to know what moves are punishable or not.

Are these really the only streamers you could find?
I have a part 1 to this reaction you can check it out on my channel or just click the link on the pinned comment 😃
Miquella is from Alabama, lol. It's so anticlimatic the ending. I though we would climb there and be able to speak with him after the fight and decide if we'd kill him or join him or something. I dunno, it feels like something's missing for such a great game and dlc
Nvm, just saw there's a memory from him which you can interact in the middle of the arena. Either way, I still wanna join him. Love for all bitches!
@@ivanrosati2055 His order is one of removing free will entirely and completely dominating the will of every living being in existence. Placing everyone under his charm and taking full control over them. He's possibly one of the worst endings in the entire game if you could choose him, with the only one being worse the Frenzied Flame where you permanently destroy life.
@@divineengine547 yeah, I know. There's not "good ending", all are kinda bad. So if with the free will tarnished and all sort of people are just gonna keep hating and making war, well, let's just lose it (also it's just a game)
I want the femboy ending :(
@@divineengine547 Hard to argue against him getting an ending when the dung eater has one. Bro's ending just covers everything in horns and poop.
Nice asmongold gameplay at the end
Why u playing as timthetatman bro or is that caseoh ? Cant see the face
