- A conversation that Patrick McReary has with Niko during a friend’s activity after picking him up.
After the conversation, Packie will still react to Niko’s actions, but he won’t talk about his or Niko's personal life, making this the last conversation between them before the former departs for Los Santos in 2008.

I never realized they stopped talking after hanging out too many times until recently
can’t have endless dialogue. i found it sad when i realised Niko and Roman ran out of conversations. their last conversation was amazing though.

@@nlrenzo9432There was a sincere conversation there. Niko told Roman that he wants to be as honest and kind as him. And Roman told Niko that he wants to be as brave and strong as Niko
Sad to think that this was the last convo they had before loosing touch when Packie left for LS
What is sadder is their background.
Explains a lot why they're f'ed up.
Also it is disrespectful how Rockstar aknowledged Niko to be "probably dead".

@@SeriousDragonify You do have the option to kill him when you see him in the random encounter, but that is not cannon in the gta lore.
They said "He went quiet", not dead. Different things

This has to be the most messed up conservation in the game, but the Katie ones are also sad asf, and she suspects her father (which was the only one he treated decently) abuse her brothers, and in one of the last conversations, she comes into realization and burst into tears. This game is on another level of darkness, seriously.
She just thinks he had done bad things to her brothers such as beating them and stuff like that but I don't think she has any idea of any of this since in another conversation she says she thinks her dad was a good person despite his drinking problem...
Facts that game always seemed creepy at night with fog and the sadness of the ingame city. Even though tbogt is completely opposite of that

I completed my first playthrough two days before., now think about how messed up that is playing a game for the first time a decade after it was released

Fun fact: in gta tbogt, in the final credits , we can see packie going to the francis aerport with a bag (i think his guns and money) a very cool detail

I would love that but I believe that Niko is now dead during the events of GTA 5. But I'd very much like to be wrong ab that one

i love how conversations between characters in any gta game reveal so much background and lore basically
Man this is exactly why I enjoyed hanging out with friends in this game.
It deals with such serious subject matter in a very grounded and realistic way that I don't think any other GTA game will ever balance it's subject matter this well ever again, or be as personal a story with good character development and such a well written narrative all throughout as GTA IV's imo.
Also I gotta say, I sorta wish the ending where Roman dies was cannon cause it just seems like there's so much weight in that event as opposed to Kate who he IS attached to sure, but her death definitely has a bigger effect on Packie cause she's family.
Hence why Roman's death would probably break Niko so much more than Kate's death.
This is also what I'd use as an excuse to rampage after the games narrative was thru. Lol

@@thelargesmoke4197 It's just an easter egg. I don't get why anyone would take this at face value as definitive proof that he's either alive or dead. But if you really wanna make sense of it, why would he even be looking at some random persons page that he doesn't know anyway?
If you wanna make sense of it, you could say that both Roman and Niko became infamous after the events of IV. Either ending could've made them BOTH infamous. Hell, if Roman died, his face would probably be plastered on the news, versus if he lived and just got to live a life in obscurity.
GTA V made Kate's death canon

Wasn't the actual last convo between Packie and Niko at the ending where Kate dies (assuming that ending is canon)? Packie mourns Kate and tells Niko he has to stay with his Ma (hence why he couldn't help Niko take vengeance upon Jimmy Pegorino, the one responsible).
That ending is cannon and yeah I think that’s their last convo
both endings are canon. Anything that would suggest the outcome of the ending is not mentioned in GTA V

Considering most players wouldn’t bother doing so many activities with Packie before completing the game, to where the game features no more dialogues between them sounded more logical to title this video the way it is.

I like to think since Niko has a lifeinvader page after gtaV packie got on lifeinvader and reconnectednwith niko
After everything they went through together, his only mentioned of Niko was, “Probably dead”, even though I’m pretty sure he knew Niko left the life of crime after the ending.

I always thought "Niko going quiet" means he either kept being a hired gun and eventually died or he changed and stopped being a criminal, which means disappearing from the criminal underworld but moving somewhere else to live a simple life and that's actually a decent explanation.
its left up to you to decide if he'd leave that life and change and survive and improve
or he's just too fucked up, doesn't care, doesn't improve and eventually dies, 99% of people in that life either die or go to prison
Or, he did what every old person from Liberty City does and went south to Vice City to retire

Canonically though Niko had a really good sense of morality and only resorted to committing crimes to help Roman & himself out of poverty and away from the mafia, that and find the truth behind the massacre of his childhood friends. He definitely would have stopped doing crimes as soon as he could go legit, in his mind though he was still loyal to his friends / betrayed squad and still caught up in it / PTSD, prolly the only reason he had no worries killing and breaking the law. You can see he's had somewhat of a good sense of morality though because almost every stranger mission is helping someone out in need.

I know it's sad, but the way packies VA delivers the "why did i tell you that" at 0:38 made me laugh
Damn... Never got to this conversation I think my last conversation with Packie was when Niko reveals to him he had a brother that died during the war and who was also a good friend of Roman and that they never talk about it because they both don't want to think about the fact that he died so young. But this, is even more disturbing to find out... Especially considering that Kate actually believed her and Packie's father to be a good person despite his drinking problems. Crazy how wrong she was considering what he had really done to Packie and Gerald. Man this game was so deep. I'd say often even deeper than both the two red dead redemptions. And to think gta 5 is so silly instead by comparison
I had completed GTA IV 100% and i didn't know this.
After gta 4, everyone started leaving LC and move to LS.😢
I don't know why but I think that the next conversation between Niko and Packie will be in a room at the FIB and about not good things

Legend has it niko spent time in Los santos as well sometime between the events of gta 4 and gta v as we can see his brown jacket in a bar by blaine country

Claude isn't old enough to be his dad. Gta 4 takes place in '06. GTA 3 takes place in like 2001, if packie's dad molested them and killed himself when they were young Claude would be dead then since packie is like 28ish and would have been 22 during the events of gta 3.
It's also mentioned that Packie's dad was actually from Ireland, Claude is not.
Packie's dad is also stated to have been alive in the 50s. Claude wouldn't have been born until the 60s cause he's in his early 20s or late teens in gta San andreas which takes place in 1992, meaning at earliest he was born in 1968 (this would make him around 35 for gta 3).
@@nickelakon5369 GTA IV doesn't take place in 2006, it takes place around 2007-08. Also I think Claude was born around 1970 - 73.
I don’t think Claude is the type of guy to molest people. Plus, Patrick said his dad always talked. Claude never talks lol.

I've heard that In a conversation with niko packie mentions moving to los santos after the Kate death ending but I can't find it anywhere can anyone tell me if this is real?
0:25 Why is there cut dialogue?
I conjoin there two separate clips. The game captured the second clip only after Niko had done talking, while it only captured the first clip by the half-cut word “sai-“.

I berly finished the campaign i'm doing different activities with the remaining Friends of Niko to get a achievement but i Would like to see this convo
