olajuwon was one of a kind player...no words can describe him...alex english...you don't see players like that anymore today...and that's unbelievable.the level of the game was higher in the 80's and 90's baby.

Crazy how good Olajuwon was in the post. Soon as he touched that ball. HE MOVED, don't care if Double team came or not.

that is the secret, as you say: "soon as he touched the ball, HE MOVED" Almost nobody did, or do, so. Many players were to be teached by Olajuwon in his home, but it is so dificult to them make the finest moves of Hakeem..

The Houston Rockets were destined for greatness before losing Lewis Lloyd & Mitch Wiggins to drugs. And trading Ralph Sampson not long after that. If they would've kept the team that went to The 1986 NBA Finals, they would've eventually won multiple championships.

Yeah. Cause, even if/when Sampson (and all those guards) went down, they would still have Drexler. This way, if they had to make moves, it wouldn't be so drastic, and you still have the ability of Drexler as a base.

    1) Dream Shake already patented by young Akeem
    2) offensive glass ferocious aggressiveness by young Akeem, his off rebs early in his career are ridiculous and Rodman, Russell, Wilt and Moses Malone and Charles Barkley spectacular. Among the best ever to attack the loose basketball 🏀
    3) defensive prowess and speed and anticipation and hand eye to ball coordination

Good sign when ur 23 ppg second year Center takes down a perennial 26-29 ppg scorer like English shot for shot... Olajuwon became Wilt Chamberlain offensively in postseasons. Should have probably dominated the ball more from 86-92... By 93 he had finally done so.

the 2023 nuggets weren't as elite as the 1994 and 1995 rockets because nikola jokic LITERALLY never has or will be equal to legend hakeem olajuwon
