    Excellent walkthrough. Many thanks. Just one thing: At 24.00 in your video, the little green circle in pattern number rotates slower or faster according to how many repeats. Mine doesn't rotate according to how many repeats. Mine just rotates. Is there a function for this somewhere. Thank you.

    Whats it like for making hop hp based music for sampling, chopping layering etc is it fast and intuitive?.

    • @benrichards4554
      @benrichards4554  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Coupled with an AUV3 like Koala? It’s a powerhouse. Flexi sampler on its own is very powerful and new clip launcher and other tricks means it’s quick to build up a full composition and then perform.
      Almost all music posted in my Tracks playlist are made in Drambo and I for the most part make hip hop music.

    I want to use different time signatures: 3/4 etc. and triplets. It was possible in the previous version of Drambo, but I can’t figure it out with 2.0.

    • @benrichards4554
      @benrichards4554  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s there under pattern settings - tap the Pattern in the Clip launcher. Still not ideal, as we don’t have all the per-clip settings we might hope for. But you can for instance make one pattern to be 4/4 and another to be 3/4 and then mix and match across tracks by launching different clips.

    • @benrichards4554
      @benrichards4554  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey qosound - I have actually never used program changes - I’d imagine it works that way - try using either the track midi output setting (tap on track module header) or just route the program change module into a midi output module. Ask for help on the beepstreet forum.

    Sorry I don’t have time to watch the whole video. Two questions can Tracks have different lengths of sequenced loops per track? For ex. Track one has 21 steps and track two has 16 steps. Also, does it sequence non quantized. Thx

    • @benrichards4554

    How do I route the audio from 1 track into another that has Koala on it, and record just that audio.

    • @benrichards4554
      @benrichards4554  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Do you mean sample the audio from Drambo track 1 into an instance of koala? Use the auv3 processor version of koala and place it on track 2 (or whatever). You can then tap the input socket of koala, and select the output of track 1 by tapping the main rack (which shows like a mixer). Tap the output socket of track 1. Alternatively, you can tap track 1s header and route the output to the track that has koala on it, instead of routing it to the master.

    • @benrichards4554

      Reasons cited for AUM - simple midi and audio routing, and ease of use and flexibility for quick jamming. Compatibility with inter app audio. I stopped using AUM but it’s a beautiful app that still serves a lot of folks.

    Hi Ben fantastic tutorial! Great stuff! Can you help like in your opinion if you do a set list of songs to perform on a live gig situation how and what it’s the best option or way to change song without losing too much time in between ? Or maybe create a various Set lists , it is possible? Hope you can help ! Cheers mate! 😉

    • @benrichards4554
      @benrichards4554  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Right now there’s no way to seamlessly transition from one project to another in the standalone app. If you were hosting in AUM for instance you could have two Drambos and fade one out while fading another in.
      Maybe there is some way you could still utilize AUM or another daw to fade in short transitional pieces while switching projects in standalone Drambo.
      I am not a live artist and don’t have much to offer here. I’d ask your question on the beepstreet forums and/or the Facebook group. I know a number of users do use Drambo in live setups.
