Top notch. Re-viewing this in 2024 and I found a couple of things I forgot about. Always great content and packed with helpful tips and advice. Thanks!
This was so thorough. I found your speed to be absolutely perfect. As a AUM + Loopy PRO user I can see how Drambo 2 is going to replace my whole workflow. This should be a fun weekend of fiddling around. I think that quick timeline view and auto-grow is GENIUS. I want all my apps to support that feature.
Dude I had to focus on other things for a good few months and now that I’m seeing this new update I’m mad thrilled!! The automation stuff is just woah… Finally I can draw my automation without it being a complete PITA. Thanks for the breakdown Ben - amazing work se always 🤙🏼
Perfect overview. Thank you. I think the real beauty of the "Clip Lock" feature is the ability to have sound variations per pattern (or song section). Like one might use program changes per section with traditional hardware.
I haven’t noticed any performance changes but they would have been incremental over a year of development :) I would think most cpu draw would still come from modules themselves. Other members of the beta are a little more technical minded and I don’t think any problems were seen. If you had lanes and lanes of automation I could see it maybe being an issue.
It does - presets are under the Instrument Racks + Processor Racks in the module browser - tap the three lines next to a module to see open the preset browser.
A slower pace and some small pauses between "sections" would be really useful. I hope that this is only a first run through features, and that more detailed episodes will follow.
Sorry pZ, this was my 2nd and best of several attempt at a relatively quick run through. I think my hour long one is a bit better paced. I hope it’s more useful to you.
A lot of the tutorials about signal and connecting modules, track settings, racks etc. are. This update was really about workflow, user interface, and sequencing improvements.

Drambo saved my life 🍻 Thank you Ben !

So happy to hear you once again Ben. I am excited for this; my favorite iOS app!
Thanks Jaysahn.
Finally an app that really makes the iPad a good music production environment 👏👏👏
An upgrade to an already outstanding app! It’s Christmas in May! Many thanks, sir!🙏
Excellent timing for this excellent update! Thanks for this video.
Thanks Ben, I enjoyed this although I have a lot to learn, I can see great new potential in Drambo V2. More videos like this would be excellent.
Thanks for the overview. I'm starting to work thru the new stuff and get a better handle on some things that were not quite clicking.
Good stuff, been keeping my eye out for this update. Time to get crackin' on a drambo made album 👍
Update is crazy . This is a great music app on the low .but waooo the update just was needed ...
Yaay:) Automation is there, finally!
Great update, great video. Thanks Ben 🙏
Wow. What an update. You rock!
Thank you for this man. Truly appreciated.
Lovely stuff Ben 🥳
Love the visual mod

It’s a really fun tool - just a bit different than automation and can be used for both song composition as well as live performance.
What are you using to move around in Drambo? Finger, Keyboard Track pad, etc.?
I normally use my fingers/the iPad’s normal touch interface. I try and use mostly a mouse for videos, only to show what I’m doing.
It looks cool Like Zenbeats is there a Windows version coming in the pipeline?
You could directly ask the dev at beepstreet forums but I would not count on it.
Have you gotten a sense for if this version will be a lot more cpu intensive? Curious how I'll fare on my base mode ipad.

Thanks for this overview! Does Drambo come with a library of sound presets, like drums, basses, leads, pads, etc. using its modular synth?
It does - presets are under the Instrument Racks + Processor Racks in the module browser - tap the three lines next to a module to see open the preset browser.
@@benrichards4554 Thanks! Looking forward to getting my first Apple iPad and getting Drambo along with it :)

@@benrichards4554 For a beginner , are your older videos still applicable ? Thanks for all your great work, BTW.

@@benrichards4554 Ok thanks , Ben..
For the life of me I can’t figure out how to undo. Say I delete a filter accidentally, how do I get it back?
No undo for the rack right now.
