@@Speedy_Gelatin it went alright. Nothing is set in stone as of yet but The gent who went over my one sheet liked my cartoon ideas. My cousin and I are currently finishing up the writing for the pilot episode. I'm learning a lot and I love to write, so this is awesome lol
That "aliens coming to live on earth after refusing to conquer it" show that she greenlit for cartoon network in 2013 because it stood out 👀 was that for Steven Universe I wonder...
@@monseurwanksalotte3477 is it? I mean having some of the first on screen LGBT rep, first on screen lesbian wedding in kids TV, having the first CN movie in years, changing the way CN delivered and told stories for a while. It’s objectively true. And not funnier than you liking your own comment tbh
I am 15, but one day i well pitch my crazy idea, i looked over everything and its most simular to adventure time and the last air bender At least i have time to make it perfect :) Also if i were to be the creator, what exactly would i have to do? Story bording? Animating? Writing? Please help :)
Probably story boarding designs and writing, but you'd have a bunch of people to collaborate with so you aren't gonna do it all by yourself. Good luck by the way! I'm thinking of doing the same thing as you some day.
justanother2sday my advice as someone thats worked in the tv industry always improve on it time changes as does the style . adventure time and last airbender is great but overtime the popularity of that genre will changes much like in the 80s its was the popularity of acton figures or superhero team ups (ninja turtles thundercats etc). or like the early 90s when looney toons style humour was huge and animaniacs, pinky and the brain, freakazoid, earthworm jim, the tick...all satirical . you may think its great now but trust me look back on it now see how you like it find out what works and if throughout the history of time will it hold up. look back at older cartoons as well look what worked then and what shows like adventure time where inspired by. study the history of animation and collect the classics i bet it will lead this idea of yours to a whole different level. and you know what even at a young age just have someone proof read it and email your ideas to a few studios ...you never know the worse is rejection the less worse outcome is critism and the best is they love it. i'm 32 and use to do youtube videos back when i was 25 that lead me to japan where i became an actor and did bit roles on tv shows there to even a pilot that will never air.....and still workin at it and hoping to have my own show that has my name as the creator now
Hey! This is so late and you're around 20 now but i just wanted to say that i'm just like you! I'm currently 15 and I am planning on pitching a show one day! It's PG-13 and based off of a little Gravity falls. I hope you got to pitch your show or are going to soon! Goodluck!!!! :)
You're absolutely right. I'm sick of these money-grabbing blow-ins thinking they know anything about passion or creativity. Every second word is 'kids'... that says a lot about these people.
It's 2021, but this is talk is still so timely and excellent!
Pitching to Netflix in March. Wish me luck y'all!
I hope you gained something from that experience. At worst the experience itself. Make a video about it either way.
how did it go

What a trash fire that turned out to be
Sounded more like the plot of Butt-Ugly Martians to me.
@@monseurwanksalotte3477 pretty ignorant to call one of the most successful and cultural defining shows a trash fire tbh

If you have the character driven type series (which are good), you're less likely to betray your characters.
Thanks ill keep that in mind.
Fantastic speech Heather i got a pot of gold

Animation for adults. That's my niche. Don't tell me adults wouldn't get it.
