I'm hoping that Kenya and Uganda will get together and restore the meter gauge railway between Nairobi and Kampala again. I've ridden from Nairobi to Nanyuki and Kisumu. Both great rain rides. Also great for freight transportation!
IDK... But thanks for sharing, btw I didn't see any trains in Kampala. All I saw were old tracks partially buried as if not functioned for a long while.
God forbid !! that there ever occurs a de railment. It doesn’t bear thinking about the casualties that could happen. I pray to God this never ever happens. 🙏🙏
Developing countries need dedicated paved walking routes and sidewalks as much as we need tarmacked vehicle roads. Nobody seems to realize that as obvious as it is. As far as the stands/booths/stalls, I understand this is how the tradespeople make a living to feed their kids. I also realize the government can not organize and advise the vendors on how to properly conduct illegal activities without literary kicking them out. That's a tough one.
Wow people living and selling their products so close to the railroad can’t be safe or healthy with all the dust the train churns out. And it isn’t a good look for people on the train either. But what do I know.!!
Most people along the tracks do their business there. Watch out for the video I'm uploading now shows exactly happens when there's no train going through.

You are so fearful
What a stupid post. Of course you couldnt manage a paragraph without bringing god into it like most Ugandans.
They have similar in Bangladesh, Thailand and Vietnam.
If only the government would improve on the rail network in Uganda. It would help decongest the roads.
Webare munonga!

A wheel barrow on rails. What a laugh 😃
😂😂😂😂
About bicycle speed..
No dear, it can can really fast that speed is when it's stopping or just starting to accelerate
@@HerbertMulowooza Oh, ok then :)
All these ramshackled stalls need to be removed from the railway reserve
When Ms Jennifer Musisi was still KCCA ED those things had been removed.
@@HerbertMulowooza but they slowly returned after she left otherwise with operation smart city many will be removed once again
Thank you very much bro, but the problem with us is politicizing everything, when they remove them you hear noise if all sorts of kind🤦🏾♂️
Hello. Why is everyone so close to the tracks? Interesting video, thanks for showing it. 👍🙏
