George, I had the devine pleasure of meeting you about 9 years ago when I was on a layover in Atlanta and you invited me to your shop. I had recently acquired two, 1974 914's from a dear friend who gave me these two project cars. You were extremely kind and nurturing, walking me through the steps I needed to take in this new endeavor of mine. Now, while intensely watching the myriad of tutorial videos you have produced, you never cease to amaze me with your genius. As a dedicated shade-tree mechanic of over 50 years, and a dedicated follower of yours, I'm sure I speak for a huge group of your fan base who greatly appreciates your dedication to your craft and your fellow man. It is a joy to know you and watch your tutorials. You deserve to Live Long and Prosper! Warmest Regards, Captain Larry Woronoff, Memphis, Tennessee.

2:55 I repaired my door handle with one of your genius pushers 15 years ago and haven't thought of it again until now.

can you do a video on the ignition cylinder? I need to remove and re-key, but I've heard it clips in one-way, and you need to drill a small hole in the housing to access and release the clip to get the cylinder out...

Just doing this myself. If filing down a "high hat" to lower it in a pinch is OK, why isn't leaving one that us too low alone, or eliminating it completely so the ones that fit properly do the work? Missing one or two wafers should still permit the cylinder to work as intended.
