Przepiękny mazurek! Tylu mało znanych kompozytorów straciło swoje dzieła w zakątkach zapomnienia...

Do you know the whereabouts of his works for piano and orchestra?

I know about three pieces he wrote for piano and orchestra: two concertos and Variations. Unfortunately any of the scores weren't published during his lifetime, or later :/ And manuscripts aren't available in digital form either.

Oh my God! I was looking for this song. Thank you. I thought it was Chopin, but I think it was Chopin. Then, is this song an arrangement? Is Chopin the original?

This is an original composition by Józef Władysław Krogulski, not an arrangement of Chopin's piece. I think that Krogulski is not imitating Chopin's style here. Many other Polish composers also wrote mazurkas in the first half of 19th century, but their pieces are less known nowadays. I suppose that the nickname "à la Chopin" was added much later, maybe even in 20th century, and that may be a little confusing.

@@honoratamusica Thanks for the explanation. 😊 I was looking for this song unfortunately without knowing its title. I thought it would be Chopin. ^^ English is poor, but please understand. Good luck!

@@honoratamusica IMHO I also would have never thought to Chopin if anyone had asked me about it and hadn't I known real composer.
There's absolutely no split beat conjuring up Chopin, as far as I feel
Moreover Mazurka, likewise Polonaise or Krakowiak have very peculiar rhythms, features and characters. Same as for Tarantella or Waltz or Tango or Ländler or ..... whatever dance
When you listen to a Mazurka you know it's Mazurka at first beat.
But because Chopin is the most famous composer of Mazurkas all people tend to associate any Mazurka to Chopin even if it's Glinka's or whomever else completely different from Chopin.
      Sorry for long message
İt was just to completely agree with your stance that I hear no Chopin influence and that Krogulski is indeed a very good composer unfortunately not very much known outside Poland or neighborhood countries.
