Update (March 6, 2024): I will change the coolant fluid soon at an Audi dealership. They will put G12 EVO fluid and it will cost me about €/$ 300. The coolant system seems to contain about 8 to 10 liters.
@@Hainrich12Hej! Jag lämnade in den på VAG i min region. De bytte vätskan men det är oklart hur mycket av den de faktiskt bytte. Fick ingen klarhet i det tyvärr. Men det får duga som det är nu. 🤷♂️
What’s the point of doing that as the main purpose of silikat bag is to extend the life of the coolant. I removed ours within 2 mins and didn’t have to flush the system.
on the other hand, the stuff released by the bag that is already in the system should not magically be consumed once the bag is gone. But yes, a change of fluid is necessary anyway since the car is close to 10 years old and has 136.000 km. @@aIbercik
@@Unexpectedperspectivesnow i have a Tiguan and Golf from 2017 and i checked both silica bags and they are looking good at the moment. Golf 7 with over 162tkm. Your bag looks very brown, but i will take it also out of the coolant.

Hei. Flushet dem systemet og fylte på G12Evo? Hvor ofte bør du skifte kjølevæske da? Kostet det deg ca. 3000kr i Sverige?

@@Hainrich12Jag betalade 2800 cirka om jag minns rätt.
As soon as possible You should flush system and change colant fluid on
Glysantin G65 or G12 Evo
Because without this silicat bag, with only G13 fluid, coolant system is very receptive for corrosion.@@Unexpectedperspectivesnow

@@lijimbu6338Silikat bag is for prevent corrosion. G13 fluid without silikat has no corrosion protection properties.
Gonna get it changed soon at a local Audi dealership.

Audi A1/S1 from 2014 and how many km? No Diesel?
136.000 km at the moment. No the S1 was only available with a 230 hp gasoline engine.

The 'ball' = coolant header tank.
Thanks! 😃
What if we take this silicate bag out of the vehicle and never put it back in the vehicle?
Yes it's not going back in there. It can crack and cause havoc in the coolant system.
