Yes! So much of what you said resonated with me. We are going back to TGATB. Trying to put together my own LA made me not enjoy homeschooling. It was just SO much and it burned me out.

@sarahmitchell9719 yes exactly. When it's too much, it's definitely not enjoyable. I'm so excited to go back to TGTB.

Thank you to all of you that are going through the challenges of creating wholesome curriculum outside of what governmental "education" has become. To the parents that are taking it upon themselves to take the reins of their children's development. Seriously. Society has gotten so far away from the fundamentals of what it truly takes to raise the next generation. It fills my heart with joy and hope to see such an upward trend toward real truth. Let's keep pushing strong!

I’m so glad you feel settled and at peace about this change. That’s something I’m so thankful for; when God gives the nudge to make a change, and then the peace that comes when you listen.

We did BJU our first year of homeschool and it was So. MUCH. And after that is when I had my very first curriculum rabbit hole experience. 😅 But we are so much happier with our other choices. I'm glad you are doing what you feel is right for your family and making the switch.

Me again! I bought 2 TGATB language arts levels for this fall for 2 of my kiddos because I was intimidated by printing and spiraling them myself. The ones I bought aren’t spiral bound and after seeing yours, now I wish I’d just printed them so they would open flat! What printer did you use?? What paper?? What spiral binder do you have?? I need to know all of this! 😂😂😂

@alyssalehmann7419 I love printing and binding! I have another video that links the stuff I use. It's in my homeschool must haves video! In that description box I have everything linked 😊

Great video! Would you say that their language arts levels are pretty equivalent to each other?

      Between tgtb and bju?

      @@raisingthreewildlings oh yes sorry 😊

@Analysemarie pretty equivalent. I do think that the good and the beautiful is much richer in literature and vocabulary. My kids are loving the good and the beautiful readers. Overall I would say tgtb is equivalent in levels with bju, but tgtb has more challenging vocabulary which builds strong readers. If that makes sense lol.
