Hi LMays, that champagne glass had a life of its own 😂 I totally agree, the upgrade is a great way to start your journey off 🙌 I don’t know about you, but I’d fly every day if I could afford business class 😂 Thank you for watching 😊👍
Superb review. BA all the way now they changed the Club World suite from that old tat to this new suite. Ive had the pleasure of first several times long haul and barring that superfantastic concorde lounge theres not a lot of different between 1st and club world. That Concorde lounge however is somewhere I could die happy!

As someone who travels quite a lot using low cost carriers or the occasional economy on a long haul flight.....my first thougths when I read the video title was "I bet it was"
I use the B gates lounge all the time even though I’m usually travelling on European routes. It’s so much better than the two galleries lounges in the main terminal. It does mean a 10 minute walk back to the gates but that a small inconvenience.
I’ve not flown CW with BA, only premium to Vegas however plan to travel to Chicago in CW. Flown with Virgin to JFK Upper Class recently and I think it’ll take a hell of a lot of beating their service! Fab review though really enjoyed this 😊
Hi Greg, your Chicago trip sounds amazing 🙌 Have a quick check before you book that the plane you’re travelling on has the new club suite installed as the old one isn’t great 👍 I’m putting you down as team Virgin then 😂👍 Thank you for watching 😊
There are two business class cabins, I recommend the smaller one rows 5,6 & 7. Only 13 seats in total and feels much more exclusive than the larger cabin with around 30 seats.
B Gate Lounge the best one compared to other which can be super busy… you also get better food, chill vibes and better plane spotting… you can always walk back to main bit just leave enough time if you are doing connections away from B Gates
Thanks for the review! I think the overall virgin experience is much better than BA, but BA has many more destinations. Also, even on virgin, you can still get their outdated seats on the 787's as with BA. Am flying in the BA club suites this summer to vancouver.
great video. I really love BA and I'm loathed to try other airlines when all i have ever had from BA is fantastic service, both on the ground and in the Air. We have some european business class & hotel booked later in the year and amazingly it has come in cheaper than the same trip with both Jet2 and TUI! Keep up the interesting content! thanks!
Thank you for the positive feedback, I agree with you I’m team BA too 🙌🙌 They just do things better than Tui and Jet 2 and have that extra prestige. Your trip to Europe sounds amazing 🔥 Have a great time 😁
@@tradingplaces787 I personally find BA a generally overpriced way of getting from A to B especially in the premium cabins as pointed out in the video. Crews in my opinion are nothing special (during Covid was probably the last time I could actually say I was very impressed with a crew member). I pretty much set foot on a BA plane with zero expectations and they rarely fail to deliver just that. Yes they do have some nice aspects such as the lounges, some seating and definitely the frequent flyer scheme, but there are too many failings overall with them that many overlook when a glass is topped up etc. Liked the hyperlapse LHR transit train ride :)
A great review, thanks. I like your reviews because you are honest but measured with it. I’ve always been partial to British Airways all of my life. The etiquette, training, food (love their chocolate mousse!), cleanliness, safety record etc are second to none. The business product is a cut above the rest - understated elegance, not so much of the glitz and glamour we see with other airlines. I’m Team BA. Virgin is a good competitor without doubt but there’s a certain je ne sais quoi about BA that is hard to convey. The airline exudes that quintessential British flavour that I don’t think one gets with Virgin!
Hi Richard, I agree with all of your points 🙌 I do like Virgin and have enjoyed all my flights with them but BA just have that extra bit of prestige or je ne sais quoi as you mentioned 😂 Thank you for comment and also for watching 😊👍
A late entry to your competition I know - but here goes! I am now a Virgin Atlantic fan despite being with British Airways for 20 years. My first BA First Class flight was from Riyadh to LHR in 1991. It was amazing. I flew that route regularly for five years. Even the cabin crew recognised me! There was never anyone up front. Then I stared to use Club Europe, which started out OK then ended up as being the same seat as economy, with just a curtain separating the two cabins. The Club Europe experience was exactly the same as economy class, the same seat, the same service and a sandwich! Except the Club Europe sandwich was served on a crockery dish... hence our nickname for BA - 'sandwich airlines'. In 2000 I tried the now Virgin Upper Class and this was exactly what BA Club was back in the day. The meet-and-greet, check in and lounge experiences were sublime, as was the hard and soft product. OK - the VA crew were a bit quirky and not so straight-laced as the BA crew, but I have felt very at home on every Virgin flight ever since, and doubt I'll go back to BA!
Hi Mark, what an amazing comment 😂🙌 I’m really sorry about this but I’ve already loaded my new review up onto the TH-cam system. I loaded it on this morning as I didn’t think that I would get any more entries 🤦♂️ In tonight’s review out at 7pm I have a new giveaway so il enter you into that one if that’s okay? @@tradingplaces787 Thank you so much Mark! I only stumbled on your channel by accident but thought my story might bring something to the party. In any case, thanks for entering me into your next competition! Regards Mark (also).
A really great trip report, looks like BA were on form onboard your particular flight. I'd have to say I'm team Virgin- I find their experience more consistent than BA and I prefer their Clubhouse lounge, onboard entertainment and catering (I didn't like the look of the light snack served on your flight) but I think the BA Club Suite is a great seat. Service wise there isn't much between BA and Virgin, but overall I'd opt for Virgin over BA on routes where they compete.
Hi Mr, I hope you’re well… I can’t believe you of all people are team Virgin? 🤦😬😂 (Only joking) I do like Virgin myself tbh so maybe this is a bad case of recency bias??? 🤷🏻 Thank you for watching and your comment 🙌😊
Only gone business class a couple of times, each time it was a free upgrade. Always on the way out which is ok but, as I am excited about the holiday, I tend not to think it’s worth the extra money as I hardly sleep and just enjoy the flight. However, on the way home… that’s when I would love a business class seat. Just to be able to have a good sleep on red eye flight back to the U.K. would be amazing.
Hi, free upgrades are my favourite 🤩 I agree with you about saving the best till last and going business on the way home, it’s good to always end on a high 😂 Thank you for watching 🙌😊
BA for me. I live in North West of UK and have EasyJet plus costing £400.. have decided to try for Silver status with BA next year flying from MAN to T5.. better value then EasyJet & will enjoy business class to gain status then fly economy with bells & whistles silver will provide.. hope plan works!!
Great video, a difficult choice but I am team Virgin as the service was overall very good when I went on it and when booking with them in person I always get a great service. BA is good too though. I am flying Business Class tomorrow with BA in fact! Thanks for your videos mate.
I frequently fly Air France but on BA business to Vancouver in a couple of weeks. Out on the A350 club suite and back on the older seats on a 777-200. Prefer the club suite which is similar to Air France, but still be good to check out the older BA seat. Really enjoyed the video and I thought it was put together really well. Glad you left the drink mishap in, we have all spilled a drink at some point in our lives 😂
Hi Graeme and thank you for the positive feedback 🙌 Ohhh, out on the A350 sounds great…I’ve not tried it yet but it’s on the list 😂 Have an amazing time in Vancouver and thank you for watching 😁
Hi Karl, thank your for the positive comment 🙌Q suite is unbelievable, but having just flown on Qatar’s A380 I think it might just beat it 👀😂😬 The review will be out Friday 🛫🛬 If you get chance to watch it, let me know what you think 🤔 Thank you for watching 😁
I used BA’s Business class for some years on my usual long haul to London. Service and food always very good and I could put up with their less than ideal layout (now replaced) because the price was very good. Unfortunately that’s no longer the case so I’ve switched to A.F. This means a layover in Paris but that’s no big deal, only a couple of hours and so far very hassle free. Considering the substantial price difference I’m staying with AF.
Hi Paul, that sounds interesting and I’m glad you’re enjoying AF. The difference in price is always better in your pocket if you’re still able to enjoy the journey with someone else. I’ve never flown AF and need to try it soon 🙌 Thank you for watching 😊👍
@@tradingplaces787 cheers I’m gonna book today will prob opt for Qatar business on the way out and BA premium economy direct to Gatwick return, I always think business class is best enjoyed on your way to holiday rather than way back
I subscribed- I hope you get a lot of subscribers, likes and views so you can show us more without costing yourself a ton of money. Thanks for the “epic fail” it is nice to see reality and not manufactured perfection lol.
Thanks for such a great review. Flying business with BA for the first time ever in a couple of weeks so super excited about this after seeing your review.
Team BA for me. They have been consistently reliable for me for as long as I've been crossing the pond. Of the 5 times I've flown Virgin, I've had 2 cancelled flights and 3 equipment changes. I also slightly favor BA's food & drinks menu over Virgin.
Hi Jordon, I don’t mind Virgin, but I’m team BA myself 👍😊 I completely agree with you about the food and drinks, it was similar to what I experienced. Thank you for watching 😊👍
Really useful review. Flying to NYC soon and torn between Club and Virgin Upper. This may have swung it hearing from a good northern lad like miself. Team BA for me!
Hi Sandip, try and make sure your plane has Club Suite installed and you will be very happy 🙌 (I check via google flights and look for individual suite on the flight Info as they are all Club Suite flights) Have a great trip and thank for watching 😊
@@tradingplaces787 nope, BA are shite. In Business, the staff are lazy, they just want to give you the minimum service possible. And the food is like garden compost.
BA have definitely turned the corner - at least in Business class - with the Club Suites. The quicker they refit the old Club World seats with Club Suites, the better. Agree, T5 B gate lounge is a good option - I prefer it to the N/S galleries. Is it worth an extra £1K...depends on how people value a comfortable, stress-free (hopefully) flight with a little bit of pampering. For me it is.
Hi, that’s a great question and one that I honestly can’t answer as I’ve never seen or experienced anyone asking to do that but I imagine it would be absolutely fine 😂
Whilst a vast improvement over the truly terrible Club World product, it’s all still rather uninspiring really isn’t it? Would be interested to know why you prefer this over Virgin Atlantic’s new BC offering. Very much looking forward to your upcoming review of Qatar’s A380 business product which I can’t wait to fly to Sydney later this year. Really enjoying your channel - keep up the good work.
Team BA for me! To be fair I’ve only flown Virgin a couple of times compared to over 100 flights with BA. The choice of destinations is much greater with BA and it’s hard to beat the deals that BA holidays offer! Like most travellers, I tend to stick to one alliance to collect AVIOS which is a clever way to keep passengers loyal! Will be trying QR for the first time in a few months.
BA customer service has fallen off a cliff. I recently swapped to Virgin Atlantic for my work travel, which i don't pay. so my opinion is personal preference. I don't deny BA do some things better, but flying BA would mean dealing with their woefully poor customer service which has 10K ratings on Trustpilot and a score of 1/5. Virgin Atlantic Airways have 16K reviews and a score of 4/5. Virgin Atlantic planes are full of BA Silver and Gold members who've basically given up.
Hi, thank for your comment, you make some great points and provide good information that i wasn’t aware of 👍 I’m flying on Virgin again soon and can’t wait to be back on board Thank you for watching and have a great week 😁
Hi, they were very efficient 👍 I didn’t really get into a conversation with any of them like I did with the BA crew the day before but that’s fine as I think they had a lot to do and were busy from take off to landing Thank you for watching 😁
Hmmm. Team Virgin or Team BA?! Well my first ever flight was Heathrow to New York on a brand new A340 and at 16, was upgraded twice and flew Upper Class. But....my brother does fly the A380 for British Airways, so I should go with them. 🙂
Hi Michelle, The Virgin A340 was gorgeous 🙌 Always fancied a trip to JFK on the A340 but sadly never got the chance 🤦♂️ Don’t blame you for picking BA, got to keep the family happy 😂 Thank you for watching 😁
Hi! Thinking of flying BA business for the first time , but seen so many negative reviews, is it worth the upgrade from Economy? I'm flying to Athens with my bf next year and want to book ahead, any advice would be ace xxx
Hi Sara, Currently, BA operates their short-haul aircraft to Athens, so in business class, you wouldn’t get a lie-flat bed as mentioned in my review above. The business class seat on short-haul flights is essentially an economy seat, but with the middle seat in the row of three converted into a table. I have a review coming out on Friday at 7 PM that covers the seat and airfare you'll be booking. Hopefully, it will help you make a decision. Personally, I’d save your money if it’s on an A320 without a lie-flat bed, as it just doesn’t feel like you’re in proper business class. Thank you for watching and have a great trip to Athens 😁
Hi Kam, A good crew on a long flight make a huge difference in overall customer satisfaction. The crew I had were fabulous and I couldn’t fault them but I’ve had a few comments saying they haven’t been impressed like yourself of the on board service I wish you a more positive experience on your next journey 🛫🛬 Thank you for watching 😀
From my home city, Denver, BA doesn’t offer first, only business in nonstop service. So, at LHR I am relegated to BA business-class lounges which are often far too crowded. I usually head to the gate instead. You have to admit, the people-watching at LHR is always surprising. Sadly, the only other nonstop to London from Denver is United. United is utter garbage but their lounge in T2 is decent. Admittedly, it’s not as funky as Virgin’s Clubhouse or the BA Concord Room…
Hi Charles, it’s a shame the Denver flight from LHR normally boards at the A gates else I’d recommend having a look at the B gate lounge. It’s way less crowded and I think you’d enjoy it 🙌 I always find the main BA lounges have a bit of a cattle market vibe so try and avoid them at busy periods 😂 Thank you for watching and hopefully see you in the Concord Lounge one day soon 👍😊
For the BA vs Virgin question, I'm forced to say team BA as I've never flown on Virgin, but as I always seem to get exorbitant seat-selecting fees, bus gates and/or a tired plane with BA, I suspect that if Virgin offered a flight from my bedroom to my car, I suspect that I'd pick team Virgin!
Hi David, you should give Virgin a try to compare, I recently travelled on their new A330 Neo and just to experience something different was nice. I’m still Team BA but just enjoyed a change in style and overall experience Let me know if you give them a try 👍 Thank you for watching 😊👍
I love travelling business class, however it's a bit wasted on me as I can never eat all that food. All goes to waste, so I'll probably be better off in premium economy?
to answer your question, i have to say ba for multiple reasons. 1. it flies to a lot more places than virgin. 2. when it comes to ba v virgin when flying to americas i would pick neither just because of how costly they are but when going somewhere like doha i would pick ba just cause of past experiences
I’ve always preferred BA over Virgin. I think BA do offer a better product and on the whole they are classier than Virgin. I think the food and drink offering is better on BA, I also think the staff are generally fantastic on BA too whereas Virgin aren’t as good in my opinion. So I’m definitely team BA.
Hi James, i agree with you on all of points 🙌 I’d still love to get on Virgin’s stunning A350 in upper at some point but I’m team BA like you 😂 Thank you for watching 😊👍
If only BA supplied what you experienced on every route and reliably... Sadly this isn't the case, hence the growing reputation for being amongst the worst, globally. That's before the absence of support when things go wrong (as they do for all carriers) and worst of all the active lies and delays when it comes to outbound payments.
I've flown Briitish Airways on and off in the 80s and 90s I've done flights from Seattle nonstop to Heathrow Airport when it use to terminal 4 I've also done Houston in December 2006 next year I will be going on British Airways in July 2025 for week in Chicago for holiday seeing major league baseball ⚾️ going sightseeing maybe see a show I do want good service on British Airways
Hi, I felt the same until I got on their new A330 Neo which was a really nice way to fly. The pink lights did give off school disco vibes but the seat and Hd screen were both excellent 👌 I’m still team BA 🙌 but did enjoy trying out something different for a change. Thank you for watching 😊
I tried the new virgin upper class on the A330 neo it’s a great product ,plus I love the clubhouse at LHR and the chauffeur door to door it’s a no brainier for my needs . Team virgin .
I've had the pleasure of the new CW Suite a few times now and it's another world compared to that shitty old CW cabin - facing total strangers and then having to spread-eagle yourself over their legs like a perv to go for a wee! If you're height-challenged you risk arrest once the plane lands after massaging some randoms legs with ya plums.! I must say that the new suites are a bit pokey once in lie-flat mode but hey ce la vie. I'm off to San Francisco next week on the BA A380 in First which is my fav' plane and fav' cabin in the BA fleet. PS I am Team BA - just because if I can swing a seat in First ( which is most of the time these days because I am a totally spoilt little sod! ) I get to slob out in the Concorde Lounge which has to be one of the best lounges going. You've still got that real radiant glow from Madrid too! or is that you raiding ya wife's make up back for some Terracota glow up lol....................Oh and is the extra cost worth it - hell yes, modern day economy is horrific, and if the think £400 for a trip to Scotland on a train, or £1,500 to get to Doha in comfort????? Bargain!
Hi Maxthelab 😊 Luckily I’ve never tried the older cabin 😂😂 Although reading your comment has made me think I should give it go and compare them both! 👀 First with BA on the A380 sounds amazing 🙌 Have you tried the new First and Concorde lounge champagne yet🍾🥂? I wasn’t a fan of the one BA served in Business, it was drinkable (just about) but one glass was more than enough 😂
@@tradingplaces787 Not tried the latest Champagne BA have adopted in First. Will do next week. BA used to serve up the LP Grand Siecle which was also available in the Concorde Lounge and that was really nice, but at the cost per bottle, it should be!!. The last time I was in The Concorde Lounge was this time last year. In CE & CW they used to serve up that crap Castelnau? as I recall which was well bitter. And yeah do try the old CW cabin - you will see what I mean. But Remember to wear a pair of well-supporting undies, you don't want to get arrested. ( ps the butter fingers act with the champagne had us in stitches Mark, we had to re-run it several times..............hope ya trousers weren't too damp afterwards - not a good look in public.)
@@maxthelab8457 🤦😂 Let me know how your trip goes and keep me updated on the champagne situation 🍾 I tried the LPGS, it was top tier stuff and I could have easily got carried away 😂 Enjoy San Fran and safe travels 🙌😊
Business Class = Premium Economy Plus British Airways - Singapore to Heathrow - Business class on an A380-800 is a Premium Economy Plus experience. From the economy class sized toilets to the badly designed coffin shaped Business class pods - the experience is a substandard business class experience. Business class pod’s storage is a small drawer at the FOOT of the pod. The ‘privacy’ screens are opaque plastic sheets - so you are kept awake by your neighbour as their screen lights up your pod. When the seat is made into its coffin shaped bed - the cold hard plastic seat moulds are an unpleasant surprise for those that turn in their sleep. You have a choice of having your neighbour step over your calf-height footrest - hopefully not brushing your feet with theirs - or having to step over your neighbour's feet/footrest. With the footrest down - heaven-forbid you try to lever yourself into a more comfortable position as the slightest pressure causes the footrest to collapse into its floor level position. If you are in the aisle seat - which is open to the aisle - kiss goodbye to any privacy as not only will you be on view to all passengers - the crew will lean you to both serve your neighbour their food and talk to your neighbour OVER YOUR PRIVACY SCREEN. Singapore Airlines Business class on an A350-900 is far superior and well worth spending the extra NZ$1500 for a true and wonderful Business Class experience.
Hi, and thank you for comment. I love the Q suites but had tried them before so thought I’d give the Club Suite a try. Although Q Suites are still the best, i think BA have closed the gap (a little bit) 👀😂
British Airways is a third world airline. The cabin crew are the ONLY good point of flying BA. The seats are narrow and uncomfortable in both Economy and Business with the foot area being especially awkward. The food at best is mediocre and having had severe food poisoning that left several dozen of us hospitalised, i now avoid it at all costs! Obviously the food will have improved since then but once bitten twice shy. The airline has twice lost my luggage and i found out British Airways and Heathrow Airport hold auctions of lost luggage and lost property either weekly or monthly. (I never got any of mine back). Most of their aircraft are old and in need of replacement but well maintained in general. Saying that i have had to sit in a seat not boltsd to the floor properly on a flight to Singapore. I avoid British Airways at all costs as do my family and many of my friends having endured British Airways own brand of appalling standards of service, eg. last minute cancelled flights, lost luggage, etc
I travelled with BA three times over three weeks late August/early September 2024 and it was the WORST TRAVELLING EXPERIENCE I’ve ever had. Checked in luggage did not appear on any of the flights so ended up with arguments with BA staff. All three flights were late (one out of Venice to that bloody shithole London Heathrow terminal 5 sat on the tarmac in Venice for 50+ minutes AFTER EVERYONE boarded). Expensive, rude staff, rubbish service and appalling crowded, under staffed terminal 5. Never, never, never using BA again AND ALL OF YOU SHOUD BE DOING THE SAME. SHIT AIRLINE!!!!!!!!! Grüße aus Australien. Tschüss.

I do like Virgin and have enjoyed all my flights with them but BA just have that extra bit of prestige or je ne sais quoi as you mentioned 😂
Thank you for comment and also for watching 😊👍
Hi Mark, what an amazing comment 😂🙌
I’m really sorry about this but I’ve already loaded my new review up onto the TH-cam system. I loaded it on this morning as I didn’t think that I would get any more entries 🤦♂️
In tonight’s review out at 7pm I have a new giveaway so il enter you into that one if that’s okay?
Thank you for watching 😁
🤦😬😂 (Only joking)
I do like Virgin myself tbh so maybe this is a bad case of recency bias??? 🤷🏻
Thank you for watching and your comment 🙌😊
Only gone business class a couple of times, each time it was a free upgrade. Always on the way out which is ok but, as I am excited about the holiday, I tend not to think it’s worth the extra money as I hardly sleep and just enjoy the flight. However, on the way home… that’s when I would love a business class seat. Just to be able to have a good sleep on red eye flight back to the U.K. would be amazing.
Hi, free upgrades are my favourite 🤩
I agree with you about saving the best till last and going business on the way home, it’s good to always end on a high 😂
Thank you for watching 🙌😊
BA for me. I live in North West of UK and have EasyJet plus costing £400.. have decided to try for Silver status with BA next year flying from MAN to T5.. better value then EasyJet & will enjoy business class to gain status then fly economy with bells & whistles silver will provide.. hope plan works!!
Hi James, sounds like a great plan to me 🙌
Thank you for your comment and for watching 😊👍
ผมชอบรายการของคุณมาก เป็นธรรมชาติ ทำได้ดี
Great video, a difficult choice but I am team Virgin as the service was overall very good when I went on it and when booking with them in person I always get a great service. BA is good too though. I am flying Business Class tomorrow with BA in fact! Thanks for your videos mate.
Hi and thank you for your comment 👍
Have a great trip with BA tomorrow and safe travels 😁 🛫🍾🥂🛬
@@tradingplaces787 Thank you buddy! I'll watch your new videos from my hotel room!! 🤗👍✈
Hi Graeme and thank you for the positive feedback 🙌
Ohhh, out on the A350 sounds great…I’ve not tried it yet but it’s on the list 😂
Have an amazing time in Vancouver and thank you for watching 😁
Great video! I love BA, but Qatar Qsuite is hard to beat when travelling to Doha. Look forward to your next one! 👍
Hi Karl, thank your for the positive comment 🙌Q suite is unbelievable, but having just flown on Qatar’s A380 I think it might just beat it 👀😂😬
The review will be out Friday 🛫🛬
If you get chance to watch it, let me know what you think 🤔

@@tradingplaces787 The bar on the A380 is fabulous but a bit dangerous. The flight, literally, flies by 😂
Such a well made video! You earned a new sub and I hope reach more in the upcoming days!
Hi and thank you so much for the positive feedback 🤩
Thank you for the sub and for watching 👍😁
I used BA’s Business class for some years on my usual long haul to London. Service and food always very good and I could put up with their less than ideal layout (now replaced) because the price was very good. Unfortunately that’s no longer the case so I’ve switched to A.F. This means a layover in Paris but that’s no big deal, only a couple of hours and so far very hassle free. Considering the substantial price difference I’m staying with AF.
Hi Paul, that sounds interesting and I’m glad you’re enjoying AF.
The difference in price is always better in your pocket if you’re still able to enjoy the journey with someone else.
I’ve never flown AF and need to try it soon 🙌
Thank you for watching 😊👍
They never change the food choice in the lounge. It's been practically the same on all my visits this year
Do you know if it’s the same plane layout flying from Gatwick to Bangkok business class on the 777?
Hi, it will be the older seat from Gatwick 👍
I’m not a fan of it but it’s still a very comfortable way to get from A-B 😁👍
@@tradingplaces787 cheers I’m gonna book today will prob opt for Qatar business on the way out and BA premium economy direct to Gatwick return, I always think business class is best enjoyed on your way to holiday rather than way back
I subscribed- I hope you get a lot of subscribers, likes and views so you can show us more without costing yourself a ton of money. Thanks for the “epic fail” it is nice to see reality and not manufactured perfection lol.
Thanks for such a great review. Flying business with BA for the first time ever in a couple of weeks so super excited about this after seeing your review.
Hi Craig, I hope you have a great time and enjoy Club World, let me know how it goes 🙌🍾🥂🛫🛬
Thank you for watching 😊
Team BA for me. They have been consistently reliable for me for as long as I've been crossing the pond. Of the 5 times I've flown Virgin, I've had 2 cancelled flights and 3 equipment changes. I also slightly favor BA's food & drinks menu over Virgin.
Hi Jordon, I don’t mind Virgin, but I’m team BA myself 👍😊 I
completely agree with you about the food and drinks, it was similar to what I experienced.
Thank you for watching 😊👍
Really useful review. Flying to NYC soon and torn between Club and Virgin Upper. This may have swung it hearing from a good northern lad like miself. Team BA for me!
Hi Sandip, try and make sure your plane has Club Suite installed and you will be very happy
🙌 (I check via google flights and look for individual suite on the flight Info as they are all Club Suite flights)
Have a great trip and thank for watching 😊
Flying club suite to São Paulo in december. Buzzing 🍻
Have a great flight 🔥👍
You’ll love the club suite, it’s a fantastic place to spend 11 hours 😎
It’s shite. I did it 13 times with BA. Total waste of money. Go choose TAM.
@@tradingplaces787 nope, BA are shite. In Business, the staff are lazy, they just want to give you the minimum service possible. And the food is like garden compost.
On BA12 next April and have upgraded to this seat. Always fly BA and if I think the service is poor, I tell them to their faces!
Nothing wrong with offering your honest opinion 😂
would have been good to mention if you payed cash or points for the flight
Is the food and drinks included in the ticket price? Thanks
It certainly is 👍😁
BA have definitely turned the corner - at least in Business class - with the Club Suites.
Hi Dave, I agree the club suite is great 🙌
Thank you for sharing your experience 😁
If I don’t want the business class food can I get the economy food instead ?
Hi, that’s a great question and one that I honestly can’t answer as I’ve never seen or experienced anyone asking to do that but I imagine it would be absolutely fine 😂
Team BA. I got to fly in the upper deck of a BA 747 as a 12 year old from Anchorage to London. Still the highlight of all the flights I’ve flown.
Hi, the upper deck of the 747 is a dream flight 🔥
What an amazing experience that must have been 🙌
❤british Airways great vlog❤❤
Thank for the positive feedback 🙌😊
Hi Pete, totally agree 🙌
The 🌍 network is hard to beat and the Avios honey pot keeps everyone (me included 😂) coming back.
Thank you for watching 😊👍
BA customer service has fallen off a cliff. I recently swapped to Virgin Atlantic for my work travel, which i don't pay. so my opinion is personal preference. I don't deny BA do some things better, but flying BA would mean dealing with their woefully poor customer service which has 10K ratings on Trustpilot and a score of 1/5. Virgin Atlantic Airways have 16K reviews and a score of 4/5. Virgin Atlantic planes are full of BA Silver and Gold members who've basically given up.
Hi, thank for your comment, you make some great points and provide good information that i wasn’t aware of 👍
I’m flying on Virgin again soon and can’t wait to be back on board
Thank you for watching and have a great week 😁
Somewhere out there ,there's a virgin pax complaining about their customer service and switching to BA😂....passengers are like plastic...recyclables
I'm going to give these Club suites a try sometime and film it for my channel. Might even pay a lot less for it :)
Hi, go for it 🙌 just don’t spill champagne all over your trousers like me 😂👍
Did u pay extra for window seat before check in? (24 hours)
Hi, no I just took the risk Ann was given a window seat by chance 👍😄
Only flown BA between London and Barcelona. No complaints
What a great journey 🙌

BA to LHR-BCN 🛫🛬🙌😍😂

Good stuff pal!
Hi David, Team Virgin or Ba? 🤷🏻😂
How would you rate the service from the cabin crew overall?
Hi, they were very efficient 👍
I didn’t really get into a conversation with any of them like I did with the BA crew the day before but that’s fine as I think they had a lot to do and were busy from take off to landing
Thank you for watching 😁
Hmmm. Team Virgin or Team BA?! Well my first ever flight was Heathrow to New York on a brand new A340 and at 16, was upgraded twice and flew Upper Class. But....my brother does fly the A380 for British Airways, so I should go with them. 🙂
Hi Michelle, The Virgin A340 was gorgeous 🙌
Always fancied a trip to JFK on the A340 but sadly never got the chance 🤦♂️
Don’t blame you for picking BA, got to keep the family happy 😂

Hi! Thinking of flying BA business for the first time , but seen so many negative reviews, is it worth the upgrade from Economy? I'm flying to Athens with my bf next year and want to book ahead, any advice would be ace xxx
Hi Sara,
Currently, BA operates their short-haul aircraft to Athens, so in business class, you wouldn’t get a lie-flat bed as mentioned in my review above.
@@tradingplaces787 Wow thank you for all the really integral advice, I shall take you up on that and just go for Economy. Love the videos. Thank you 😀
I recently flew BA from JFK-LHR, the ground service was very good. I found the service onboard very poor not worth the money I paid
Hi Kam, A good crew on a long flight make a huge difference in overall customer satisfaction.
The crew I had were fabulous and I couldn’t fault them but I’ve had a few comments saying they haven’t been impressed like yourself of the on board service
I wish you a more positive experience on your next journey 🛫🛬
Thank you for watching 😀
I'm 6ft 2 - I'm wondering if the bed would work for my height?
Hi, yeah you’ll be fine, I think any taller and you’d be struggling but your height should just about fit 😂
It’s way less crowded and I think you’d enjoy it 🙌
I always find the main BA lounges have a bit of a cattle market vibe so try and avoid them at busy periods 😂
Thank you for watching and hopefully see you in the Concord Lounge one day soon 👍😊
I’m still Team BA but just enjoyed a change in style and overall experience
Let me know if you give them a try 👍
Thank you for watching 😊👍
I wanna try the business class but I always traver with family and cant leave them alone 😁
Hi, I’d pick always pick to sit with my family over business class, if it was first class… it would be a different decision 😂
I love travelling business class, however it's a bit wasted on me as I can never eat all that food. All goes to waste, so I'll probably be better off in premium economy?
Possibly, but then you miss out on the bed so it’s a tough one 😂
to answer your question, i have to say ba for multiple reasons. 1. it flies to a lot more places than virgin. 2. when it comes to ba v virgin when flying to americas i would pick neither just because of how costly they are but when going somewhere like doha i would pick ba just cause of past experiences
Hi, it’s definitely a great point about the superior route network.
The amount of places that BA fly to is incredible
Thank you for watching 👍😊
If flying to Doha you'd be silly to fly BA over Qatar in any class.
@@JohnGuidetti751 oh absolutely especially with q-suites a business class being the competition against high end first class seats
Excellent
Thank you for the positive comment and thank you for watching 👍
I’ve always preferred BA over Virgin. I think BA do offer a better product and on the whole they are classier than Virgin. I think the food and drink offering is better on BA, I also think the staff are generally fantastic on BA too whereas Virgin aren’t as good in my opinion. So I’m definitely team BA.
Hi James, i agree with you on all of points 🙌
I’d still love to get on Virgin’s stunning A350 in upper at some point but I’m team BA like you 😂
Thank you for watching 😊👍
Team BA, the staff have always been great.
Hi Wolf, on this flight they were excellent
Thank you for watching 😊👍

Not sure who’d ever prefer psychedelic Virgin upper class and stare pink light all flight 🤷♂️
Hi, I felt the same until I got on their new A330 Neo which was a really nice way to fly. The pink lights did give off school disco vibes but the seat and Hd screen were both excellent 👌
I’m still team BA 🙌 but did enjoy trying out something different for a change.
Thank you for watching 😊
I tried the new virgin upper class on the A330 neo it’s a great product ,plus I love the clubhouse at LHR and the chauffeur door to door it’s a no brainier for my needs . Team virgin .
Does either BA or Virgin provide a TV screen in economy if I'm in the front row?
@@tonnescHi, they both do 👍😊
@@tonnesc yes .
Most people get lost looking for this BA lounge
It’s a tricky one to locate for sure 😂
Bargain!
Hi Maxthelab 😊
Luckily I’ve never tried the older cabin 😂😂
Although reading your comment has made me think I should give it go and compare them both! 👀
First with BA on the A380 sounds amazing 🙌
Have you tried the new First and Concorde lounge champagne yet🍾🥂?

Business Class = Premium Economy Plus
British Airways - Singapore to Heathrow - Business class on an A380-800 is a Premium Economy Plus experience.
Hi Brian, you make some great points and thank you for sharing such a detailed comment

Although Q Suites are still the best, i think BA have closed the gap (a little bit) 👀😂
To Doha
I’m team Virgin. The founder of Virgin overcame many challenges and risks towards his success.
Hi David, thank you for watching 👍
It’s The White Company…. not White & Company 🤣
What a sad waste of Champagne 😪
Talk. Slower.

what garbage selections of wine.. BA
Tschüss.
