The champagne moment was classy :-) Great video, thanks for sharing. Flying BA 777 to Maldives next week, first time in the new business suite. Looks much nicer than the old version. Have flown Virgin, Qatar, Sri Lankan but i keep going back to BA.

I flew qatar for the first time from Heathrow to bkk but not in business , i was talking to one of the ladies at the back of the plane and I said I want to fly the 380 next time for my birthday , she said you need to upstairs on the 380 , it's amazing

I’ve done premium economy a couple of times now in British Airways and both times disappointed. They fail to tell you that was a big massive chunk of metal in between the seats and also failed to tell you that some seats have the entertainment PC where the foot space is so you actually lose space. The underseat footrest is good for short people but for those 6 foot and above it makes you sit at a funny angle to make sure you get your feet on the foot rest and in your seat

I'm planning a trip with Emirates A380. Do you think seat 53K would be good in terms of its view? I really wanna see 2 jet engines from the window.

I always thought british airways is a great airline. I took one going to Europe and man cryingair is much better 😂.

The seat is wide and private but IMO, too hard and difficult to be comfortable for sleeping. Tip: Get extra pillows at the back of the cabin in the overhead bins, where they are stored. Tried it now 3 times long-haul (not the short LHR_HEL flight) and simply not great even with extra cushions.. There is no way it is near first class. The food is not great, no dine on demand, and even BA is better. It's not for me... Note: No other airline is going for this odd seat!

What’s happened to BA cabin Crewe. The guy ignored and the lady that was in the way didn’t engage.

I stopped flying BA because of staff, they have this superior vibe about them, like they are skiing you a favour. Virgin premium 10x better tbh

Just got back from Mauritius (via Dubai to Brussels) with Emirates/economy, great experience !

I like the music and text, mate. It's straight to the point and very simplistic. The music is relaxing and felt like I was immersed in the journey with you. I'm a little disappointed about the breakfast, too. Hope you relayed this back to BA. Overall, thanks for sharing!

the A380 has made it possible to revive the lux Clipper days when the uber wealthy purchased travel options only serious money can afford

Fantastic video, really enjoy your channel. The best thing about EMIRATES FIRST CLASS has to be the Dom Perignon as well as the unbelievable food as well as service. Absolutely want to try this route out, it will make a change from Easyjet and Ryanair!

Don’t, I got food poisoning from the snack they gave me at the end of my 8 hour flight, it was a chicken wrap and in my car on the way home home from the airport, I threw up outside the window of my car, DONT EAT CHICKEN ON AIRIPLANES

Wax Earplugs? I travelled through Asia for 3 months... and this sleeper is total luxury compared to that.

I have been flyging bkk-doh in the Qatar A380 business class, and it's absolutely fantastic. The food is excellent, like dining in a fine restaurant. The service and the friendliness from the staff is really great.

Thank you to showing me this EMIRATES FIRST CLASS experience at a reasonable cost. Flown business class once before and this was far superior to economy. Would be nice to go a step higher still!

Thank you, as always, for a great review and sharing that 'hidden route'. That particular First offering is starting to feel its age IMHO with several competitors going beyond the 'bling' but it's still fantastic to experience. While other airlines subjectively top Emirates in certain areas, the overall offering is still my favourite, especially when the First Lounge in Dubai is part of it. That and serving $1000 bottles of cognac! Keep up the great work.

THE EMIRATES FIRST CLASS especially on the A380 is like being in a heavenly dream in the skies from the luxurious service to the highest pinnacle of quality and comfort at 35,000 feet. Each of the handcrafted gastronomical delicacies and suite style cushioned mattress flatbed gets you to sleep like a pampered baby in the air. It’s indeed an experience of a lifetime.

That is unquestionably a great first class offering but it also really shows up the shortcomings of that old business class cabin on Emirates. I wonder how much better Emirate's first class is to Qatar's Q-Suite business class seat. Definitely much cheaper to fly Qatar's Q-Suite and therefore more realistically attainable.

Outstanding onboard service. But it's a 777-300ER. As others have noted the A380 would provide the full first class experience ...hence BKK-HKG !

Birmingham airport is a nightmare at the moment. i usually go through once or twice a month with work, and the whole fiasco with them renovating the upstairs security room is beyond a joke. It’s not uncommon to have to wait an hour and a half atleast at the moment to get through security. I feel bad for the security/airport staff who recieve constant abuse from people who are waiting in the lines and who blame them for the wait. Whoever is in charge of the renovation needs to get things moving big time.

Mark I'm JEALOUS!! What a sweet deal getting to fly Emirates first class on a short hop. I think if I was to ever get a chance on First Class with Emirates it would hopefully be on one of their A380's as they have the showers. The first class experience is also so much better on an A380, subtly the type of aircraft (not just the seat) does influence the experience in all class levels.

If they changed CE seating the prices would rocket up. The flexibility is what allows people to travel cheaper. It’s also broadly standard in Europe. It’s not “BA business” it’s just European business.
