- Wynne and her two best friends cover an arrangement of the Scottish traditional song "The Parting Glass" in Cornell University's Sage Chapel. Wynne (right) sings soprano 1, Riley (center) sings the soprano 2 melody while JoJo (left) sings the alto part :)

I agree. I consider this to be the best of the countless versions that I have heard over the "many moons" that I have known this song. The interplay of voices is simply exquisite. Also, the pacing and (slight) pauses add a special nuance not heard elsewhere, including in the Jennys' own performing. Wonderful.

annklonowski...they gave scotland credit because it's a scots sang sang. one of many adopted in the late 50s early 60s when "irish" music was just staring out.

I’ve heard a dozen singers and musicians perform this song. These three do it best. It’s SUPPOSED to be simple and mournful. It’s NOT supposed to be a vocal and instrumental extravaganza.
