Another kid who thinks supras "CoOOoMe In 100000Hpzzz". Relax yeah, supras are nice cars, the engine is fully allumium forged, which of course it has heaps of potential of upgrades due to the durability of the engine. But other than that, there's a lot of vehicles with the same criteria

@Lloyde Turner in your guys opinion. Some people like to chill and drive, but always have the power ready when you push it. No need to shift just let the car pull to its maximum capability. Or use the paddle shifters for a more thrilling experience. Both automatic and manuals are great, but especially if you daily this there’s no need really. If you’re more of a mechanical guy then manual is the move, but if you like to just sit back and have fun then automatic is the way to go. This guy is chill so he probably wants to chill and when he wants to drive hard he can with the paddle shifters instantly. Don’t think because you guys have an opinion that it must be the way. Peace

Never seen a Supra to hook up so well without loosing traction.

DCT works well there. Usually when shifting it adds more wheel spins/less traction

@@HarryG98 tbf the rx7's that have been swapped are hardcore. These autos aren't slush boxes. the ones I have seem have been designed with peak performance in mind, its hardly different from putting a semi auto sequential box. I'm a die hard rx7 fan boy and they don't offend me at all, unlike an LS swap lol

Is it just me, or does the engine actually sound closer to a BMW straight-six? It’s the one thing the 2JZ lacks, and it seems to have been magically cured in this car.

As I said once a loooooong time ago for an R33 build with a sequential. Every JDM that's tuned this much needs to have a sequential... Even if this technically isn't
When it comes to gearboxes, sequentials are top of the food chain. Stronger, faster and lighter than any other gearboxes

PLEASE FIND THE ULTIMATE MK5 Rabbit 2.5 NA tuned. But 2008 Model that was originally stock @ 170hp/170tq. Because the engine is bullet proof when properly maintained. In my opinion the engine that was in mk5 rabbits that were NA 2.5 I5 engine, Now is only offered in Audi's. I have 2007 mk5 rabbit 2.5 with only 88000km, and a 2008 mk5 Rabbit 2.5 that has been hit by a drunk driver when stationary, Insurance wrote it off, I bought it back, and put $3000 CAD to rebuild and pass inspection. Later Was stolen from my condo secured parking lot. And they burned the clutch, but still have an 4.5cm of peddle left. Since all this. I have it lowered, on coilovers to be almost flush on 19". ECU, Unitronic Tuned Sleeper. and this summer installed an 9" android deck to always run TORQUE app on startup. And this week I should be at 210000km on Original Clutch. IE is the plan if they decide to still have intakes manifolds, with Air Intakes, and Stage 2 ECU. Covid is the only reason I haven't gone that route. FIND ME SOMETHING that proves NA is still present!

Actually a reasonably priced gearbox conversion for what you get. Puts the power down very well and seems to suit the engine character.
