This thing looks so planted on boost! I personally went for a manual conversion myself, but I can see why this will become popular - it's a really great way to keep up with modern cars 👍🏽

I remember when LLF raced his 700hp M4 against a 844hp Supra and the M4 walked it purely down to gear changes, ZF8 conversions will become popular for this reason - to help keep up with the new cars. Would love a ZF8 in my 370Z.

I am an old school lad, manual box only........until I got my 330d with a ZF8 (mapped 0-60 in 4.7 on my Racebox !! ), it was the first auto I actually loved, the first Auto that just made sense and that I felt in control of all the time, we also have an F25 3 litre with the ZF8 for the wife, I also now have an Alfa Quadrifoglio also fitted with the glorious ZF8, where it also works brilliantly. I am now looking at buying my next race car with the ZF instead of a manual !

My ram 1500 has the zf 8hp75 and it is the nicest transmission I have ever driven everyone is always amazed of the power it puts down and the smooth shifting and rapid shifting

Greting from PL. He've got 350z which was 3rd car ever equiped with tcu and thrue all the years was working well (y) we decided to swap for 2.0 TCU due to first in eu - probobaly 350z awd which is also based on ZF8hp from jag. This TCU and gearbox rocks.

@@antreaskonstantinou8585 it’s in so many models basically so there’s is a lot of them about in scrapyards because people crash there cars, I’ve seen them go for even cheaper £200 with converter and tcu😂 (bmws, some audis, jaguars, range rovers) I think they sold 3 million units in one year at a point.

@@stubie7465 new model is the gen 2 so it would be 8HP50 or 8HP75 eBay it yourself mate. Nobody runs the second gen anyway as it’s a waste of money really the only difference is a bit more strength, turbo lamik recommends first gen as it’s cheaper and more available.
@@piovo5222 I did, there are none, of any model, for £500. I know, because I'm in contact with a company offering a 4WD conversion for my R33 GTR so it could fit, so I've been looking. It's not mega money, like a Getrag, but it's not £200, £300, or £500.
Love the ZF in my GR Supra. It’s lightning fast. Crazy how close the B58 with just an exhaust sounds to a 2JZ with a matching gearbox.

hi guys, can you please make a video on how to replace from the old to the new gearbox I am considering this it’s been transmission on my supra, but I’m afraid to take this step. What do I have to do to change my gearbox? Do I have to change the ECU for your box. Or everything is original and only the gearbox is changed do I have to replace anything else or maybe program anything? I hope you can make a video about that. Or at least guide me through it. Thank you. My car is complete the stock. I also want to know if it is worth it change the gearbox.
