Eddie Hall: Is a skilled swimmer who as a teen was on the path to the olympics in the same generation as Michael Phelps. Also Eddie Hall: Is always dehydrated.
Thank you for talking about swimmers coming in all shapes and sizes! I have the skeleton of Yoda, cannot walk, and have a bit of blubber, but I can still out swim everyone I know. Inevitably, whenever I stop swimming for a moment and look up, there are people staring with shocked looks on their faces. Some days it makes me feel good, but on other days makes me feel freakish. This was really fun to watch, as well as your podcast conversation with Eddie. As a middle aged woman who has been steadily working on becoming more fit for the last 3 years, this is inspiring. Thanks guys!
I'm 190 cm snd 115 kg ex weight lifter, BJJ competitor and I thought I'm a wrong physique for swimming. Great stuff! I absolutely love open water swimming.
Excellent video. Eddie Hall is an absolute legend, great to see both of you team up and eat and train and . . . . . .eat . . . Your attitude and outlook is infectious too Ross, uplifting and positive vibes abound. Brilliant.
I love seeing you two do things. I was having the best afternoon watching you guys do iceswimming and obstacles on Eddie's channel. Big love from Denmark!

I grew up swimming competitively in Texas and we had a high school football champion linebacker on our team. He was well over six feet tall and I have no idea how much he weighed but it was a lot of pure big muscle like Eddie. He dominated in the pool! By the time he did his underwater pull he was halfway to the other end and his flip turns were perfect. He was always the anchor for relay because of DUH he could catch everyone! He went off to college on a full-ride football scholarship but he probably could have gotten one for swimming just as easily.
I am sure Eddie was a good level swimmer when he was younger, and swimming was his sport. From what I recall he was winning galas and medals and stuff.
