@@wyldeyouth Maturity is not a catch-all, there's a lot facets to maturity. One may excel in personal reflection, a crucial aspect of maturity, but struggle with emotional regulation. In many respects Eddie exhibits a lot of maturity, and in other situations he's quite juvenile, class-clown energy often common from hyper-active social types (myself included). I think people who regard themselves as very mature are often taking themselves too seriously, and humor is a very distinct category from much of what represents maturity.

Rob, you should refer Eddie to Teal Swan. 🙏🏽 Eddie, much Love brother. ❤ Anxiety and depression can come from unmet emotional needs as children. Abandonment trauma, attachment styles developed based on our caregivers. We all have unhealed emotional truama that manifests as different levels of emotional issues. This can be healed. You have to mve the energy of the emotions. Thats why people become addicted to the fix. Its becomes a replacement for actually alchemizing the emotional energy. These are defense mechanisms we learn to cope with our wounding. You can heal brother. It takes a new level of self awareness. And facing our own shadow.

What was more concerning was how he brought his son up in the press conference and was swearing in front of his son. Not ur finest moment eddie. Come on Eddie don't bring up the arm excuse y u lost the fight. If u were that concerned about the arm u shouldn't of fought or at least delay it till ur arm was fully healed

    • @bulletproof1581
      @bulletproof1581 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I'll explain why he did this because it's fairly obvious if you know the timeline. So first of all Eddie and Thor weren't going to fight each other in a month or 2, they just weren't considering 1 they had never boxed before, and 2 how much they hated each other and didn't want to lose, because of this everyone and their aunty were bitching and complaining horrendously about how the fight wasn't happening soon enough. This is why when Eddie tore his bicep tendon off, he felt like he could only delay the fight for so much longer. Blame toxic pressure on the internet, not Eddie for coming into the fight broken. If you know about gaming, it's the same bullshit that happened with Cyberpunk, people toxicly bitched and complained horrendously about how Cyberpunk should be out already, then when it got rushed because of peoples complaining, people then complained about how buggy it was.

Disrespectful towards Thor ever since him and Bryce cheated Thor out of WSM 2017 gold! Disrespect is Eddies middle name. Nice that he got humbled in the ring. But I doubt Eddie will ever hand over that 2017 title to its rightful owner.
Massive kudos to Thor for letting go of that, and putting it all behind him. Thor has advanced massively in maturity as a bloke these last 5 years. Eddie is the same today as he was at 17.

@@510midget8 1. Thor didn't cry. Using hyperbole is childish, same way that Eddie making slander videos about Thor not accepting his loss, then subsequently being PROVEN that Eddie cheated with Bryce, is childish.
      2. Thor was the better strongman. If Eddie and Bryce hadn't cheated, Thor would have won WSM17. Therefore, Thor DID win 2017. He also lifted more weight in the DL to take the record away from Hall, AND Thors looked easy. Eddie almost died and was hospitalized.
      3. Even with being robbed of his rightful 2017 trophy, Thor has won FAR MORE world class international contests than Eddie, and also kicked the shit out of him in the ring.
Judging by the above FACTS, I'd say you were WRONG.

I can "put a pin on it".
Complex PTSD and Childhood Emotional Neglect are trapping unfelt negative emotions stemming from unexamined childhood trauma.
These trapped unfelt emotions magnify when left unrecognised and cause depression.
He feels anxiety because his fight or flight response is perninantly on. It was activated young when his parents failed to emotionaly connect with him which is felt in a child as abandonment. Abandonment to a child means death. Thus the body calls it an emergency and the fight flight mechanisum is switched on.
However the parents undoubtidly being to emotionaly immatute themselves continue there unintentional neglect the fight or flight response becomes perminantly switched on. It no longer returns to a state of relaxation. Anxiety, hyper vigulence, hyper activity, excess adrenaline/fear/panic/shutting down of frontal lobe, impulsive, recklessness are just some of the results.
    Question:-
How can we assume a "Chemical Imbalance in the Brain" if we don't know what the brains chemistry is to start with?
    ANSWER:-
We can do this because it's a diagnosis that facilitates drug sales and it's the drug companies that pay for the research and fund the universities.

I work as a DevOps engineer ( in IT) at quite high technical level I used to work for UK gov building infrastructure for MoJ... So strong as hell, trained box for almost a decade with two masters in IT ( in Poland and in UK) successful guy right... I always laugh at people who said they are depressed... till like two years ago... It hit me soooo hard I could not move myself... Covid had lots to do with it as six of my friends and people I knew died in a very short period including a guy I used to compete in the gym all the time(my friend)... But depression is real you just do not see that coming. You just do not know when it will hit you as it is never one massive hit it is always small things that pile up and hit the point when you think wtf is going on... I did not do anything for a week ot a month... I could not motivate myself... It was so difficult for me that first time in my life I was let go from a job as I was underperforming... Im still fighting with this one but I moved myself a bit out of the house ( I work from home) do some gym trying to learn new things and retake my life. So Tate, as much I respect the guy, has no efing clue what he is talking about in this subject. Men suffer, but men suffer in silence as most of the time no one gives a sh!t about them.
