I know for a fact there’s no chance I could do what he did, but I know his brain is no different to mine. He is just one of those special people who can tap into his willpower and mental strength and completely control it. It’s amazing. Just think for a second feeling freezing cold, tired, exhausted, sore and say you’d only swam 10 days and had another 140 to go. Remarkable.
