I know for a fact there’s no chance I could do what he did, but I know his brain is no different to mine. He is just one of those special people who can tap into his willpower and mental strength and completely control it. It’s amazing. Yeah he looks and sounds cuddly, but dont let it fool yu. This guy is a monster. In sport science long distance swimming is generally acceoted as the most physically difficult for the human body due to the energy demands, the bacterial infections, the thermoregulation. Humans simply arent meant to spend that much time in the water. To say hes the aquatic goggins does him a disservice. He is leagues beyond goggins. If yu dont believe me, ask why goggins didnt start long distance swimming after he lost his running knees.

1 knot is roughly 1.2 miles per hour. 10 knots is roughly 12 miles per hour. That part was bothering me as a sailor 😂

I was in the Royal Navy for 4 years and I did't even know how fast a knot was. I'd hear "We're doing 25 knots" To me that could have been 20MPH or 60MPH. Literally had no idea and didn't care lol
