In some driving it might be more efficient to not regen. The car will coast without using kWh, basically saving the range. For example driving on the highway.
You don't say anything about the costs...what happens when the batteries worn out? In a diesel if the turbo goes out then you replace the turbo, in a reg engine a pipe bursts you replace the pipe which is not too much trouble but when the batteries for this E tron worn out then what? What would be the cost? How long these batteries run for before they go bust? 2 years? 3 years?
Hi, good review in general! I would also prefer the car to just decouple the engine and role instead of regen, it is just more efficient. I have an e-Golf and it has both options, so either you drive with no regen (except when you brake) or with strong regen, but I do prefer no regen... I have also tested E-tron 55, but with normal driving, I do not think you can get to 350-400 km if you let us say also use motorway 130 km/h speeds etc ( it is on longer trips, the range matters the most, in short trips from home, you can charge it anyway...)... you are more looking at 300-330 and in winter probably less then 300. But otherwise it is like you said a more comfortable and more quiet car then I-pace...
no regen is a massive problem here, no surprises as audi never made EV before and they have no clue what they doing. Consumption very bad, the car too heavy too slow and doesnt handle well. probably one of worse EV in the market at that price

I read that more. Even though I am not a fan. It is more efficiënt.
Is this the Typhoon Grey color?
Can you just full on coast like all the time and them brake with the paddle . Like on my hyundai ioniq?
From what I remember yes. Exactly that

Most EV manufacturers give a 5 to 8 yr warranty with the car, but the prediction is that most EV batteries will be good for between 10 and 20 years.

gimbal doet het goed!

Regen is practically good even on downhill.
Etron best EV ✌️
Not everyone wants one pedal driving. ICE cars don't do one pedal driving.
