It really helps to make the videos YOU like to watch.
GREAT hotel review, Daz!! That last room was a SUPER bargain!!!! WOW! The square feet room alone and large fridge makes it a great bargain for that price! And the fact that it has a lift/elevator is a BONUS for someone like me who has mobility issues. Thx again my friend!
Totally agree
I've stayed at the D'Express several times. Good value, clean and your are correct in saying the staff are really nice.
Daz, I really enjoy these hotel reviews, they are very helpful in understanding what’s available and how much. For me what would be helpful would be - for instance - when you tuck your head out the balcony door/window, to say something like _”now we’re looking west towards the beach”_ or _”this is the view looking south.”_ This helps orient us as to what direction we are looking and how far things may be in relation to where we are. Thanks for all your homework, much appreciated.
Ok will do, like this video when I said Soi Buakhao is that way
@@everythingPattaya …Yes!
This was a super fair and balanced blog. It wasn’t at all a “downside” presentation, per de, but a cautionary or do your research video. Fantastic! Thank you.
Hotel Amber in my view is a great Choice for a long stay off Soi Buakhow.Could we please have a review there daz?
I've been staying at Livin Mansion this month and I highly recommend it. The location is great, the price is right, and Lee is so sweet and helpful. Thanks for the video, Daz. 😊
Can you help me with current rate and availability please 🙏
Rate is the same, 12,000 baht for a month, don't know availability. @@Dingdinggkdv
Thanks for this video!!I’m nearing the end of my stay here at the LiV’in Mansion. I highly recommend. Rooms are nice, the bed is soft, and the staff are great. Secure entrance with key card for 24 hour access. 7-11 at each end of the Soi. It’s a quiet Soi with everything you need. Several restaurants, barbers, laundry service, and a couple bars. But it’s not noisy. Soi Buakhao is just a 2 minute walk. Big C close enough to walk to also. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I’m staying at livin mansion at the moment. Very good room at a very good price. Very clean and Mrs Lee and her family are very welcoming. Highly recommended.
Very helpful review, particularly the breakdown in daily rates, into different currencies. Cheers mate
I like the idea to start the video with a map. First hotel , I like the upstairs swimming pool with place in the shadow to read or relax. Thanks for another fantastic video.
Thank you sir so much! Your hard work is appreciated by a soon to be expat.
Great show and excellent review! Very helpful especially with the map! Please use the the map more often this is a very good idea!!! Thank you very much!!!
Loved the map at the beginning. I follow along with these reviews on Google Maps, and the map in video made it much easier to initially establish bearings.
Glad it was helpful!
Awesome review, using google maps to show hotels location is a great idea. Very useful for those who aren’t familiar with the city. Thanks 👍
My go to hotel is Sunbeam, it is off soi 8. One of the best and close to all the action around.. Not too expensive and it got a small swimming pool.
If I'm not mistaken, Thep have a jacuzzi for customers to use on the roof instead of a pool. I always stay at D apartments. Great quiet Soi to stay but short walking distance to everything
Great review as always. Fantastic job brother !
Thanks for your continued and straightforward reviews of Pattaya. I’ve been following your channel for a while and take note of everything you post. They are all informative and helpful.
Always look forward to your videos Daz, thank you for your informative videos
Thanks again for your update of hotels there, and rooms having safes. Good video.
Good review...already planning my winter trip!
Thank you for your videos I’ve just arrived back in Thailand after five months in the Philippines. I can’t wait to get the hell out of here. I’ve never met such a bunch of money hungry grabbing women in my life and mostly don’t have English. Trust you guys get to the Philippines, you get cheaper bear the girls have English educated at Western standard.
The girls are out you put love before money and travel with you. You just pick up the costs. It’s much more fun in the Philippines
Thailand is good for a holiday that’s about it. 80% of Soi 6 over wait
I love Thailand I love the food I love the locations just keep away from the girls and you have a good time here. That’s the working girls
Right interesting .
D-Xpress is brilliant, you are spot on about the staff they're always lovely!
Hi Thanks Always good vlog
Thanks again Daz
Congrats Daz on 80k!! 👍🎉
Thank you very much
Cheers for your info
Brilliant mate... I always stayed at the Sawatdee court hotel on So 0 second road but that's gone now. 250 baht a night but that was the late 90's
I liked the first one which also had a nice pool
Hi Daz great vid have you ever looked at the hermann hotel soi 12, we have provisionally booked for next year
Last one best yes for sure 😊
The location of that New Plaza gaff is dynamite. 💥💥💥💥
WOW I finally found a great vlogging channel for Thailand much appreciated!!! What camera are you vlogging on I didn’t see it in your description I feel like I’m their with you
GoPro
Hi Daz, thanks for the vlog. Sometime down the track when it becomes clearer, perhaps you cover the new Thai tax implications for foreigners wanting to reside in Thailand.
Of course this won’t affect tourists or foreigners staying less than 180 days in any given year.
Any upcoming review on jomtein hotels?
Another intersting chat whilst walking would be the comfiest beds people have stayed in whilst in Pattaya that is the main thing we need to no if staying long term good sleep equals great day ahead maybe do a poll of 4 hotels at a time best bed
Amethyst hotel in Soi Buakhao 15 has the best beds I’ve had in Pattaya.
Returning there for a couple of weeks in April. 😮
@@markdumbrell2618 thanks for the info mark very much appreciated will try that one on the 21st of this month have a great week ahead
Condo with kitchen is a must for me .. shoul be a little cooking possible..
İ would like to stay january and february 2024, condo closer to central festival mall, 2 months to stay.. thank for the good videos..havent seven any kitchener..the price monthly 12.000 ---18.000 thb is OK...NP was look ok but was there a kitchen or not !?
Excellent vid Daz! Are the Safety Boxes bolted down? Cheers!
Always
I have now watched several of your videos. Very informative and interesting. If you don't mind me asking, do you live in THailand or just vacation here?
I've lived here for 13 years
Can recommend NP RESIDENCE stayed there on my last 2 holidays great central location.
i thought the second place did not include water/electric. i wonder how much that would be.
Which hotel has the fastest WiFi speed? I have to attend a ZOOM meeting online while I’m in Pattaya. All suggestions appreciated.
Yeah but be careful with those higher electricity rate hotels, you might get stung if staying a long time like min. 5k + electric bills, a friend got stung with a 9k electric bill for 1 month which is the same as my apartment rent alone. There's usually another cost buried somewhere if it looks too cheap🤣🤣🤣
Better to book daily includes everything including Aircon 24/7 if you desire.
the Tep, it seems if you want the backside, it is a little extra. Hope the old guy becomes a regular appearance.
I no a hotel incl water and electric but you can get a condo for about 15.000 thb a month water elec about 1000 thb a month
Hey @Daz , when is next podcast coming up?
Just organising it
Great video mate
Daz how much is this hotel in August ?
Hi Daz The first one have a pool on rooftop what about the 3 other one ?
What about a awnser Daz
Hi there thanks for your great videos but on the last hotel for the bargain price of 12000baht per month what is the address for it cheers.
You have all the contact details
You have the GPS location
You have seen it on a map
How are monthly prices calculated? If you check in on the 4th of March is check out the 4th of April?
Yes, normally any 30 day period
Wonder how many will lower their prices next month if visitors are low ?
Thanks for sharing 🙏
Wishful thinking.
😊
Need to be aware of electricity costs now prices have gone up..even at Government rate you need to budget 2k a month minimum...if they push the rate up you could be looking at 5k with only moderate aircon usage.
Also please always check about wifi its essential for most people.
NP charge extra for water and lecky.
I take location over hotels as I do not drive.
I think not many coming to Thailand cause of mosquito presence as a very known vlogger in Pattaya got dengue and got sick for 4 days and is still weak now what do you use to repel mosquitos and do you get bitten a lot I think this topic needs covering as no one ever mentions it
Spray when going out , it’s not a major worry unless you let it be so ..
@@jonhobson3592 thanks for reply what spray would you recommend please jonho?
Jim, don't bother with mozzie repellant from outside Thailand, buy from 7-11 in Thailand - the small pink bottle. All locals use it. Spray before you go out at night. Also, worth taking vitamin B2, a month before you come. It's good to take all the time... But the mozzies hate it!! We can't detect it, but the mozzies pick it up from the Poor's in your skin and won't go near you. Take it from me - years ago I used to get up to 12 bites during a two week period, now, I'm unfortunate if I get one!
I have stayed at D Express......It was pretty good. Not a great location for a non scooter visitor, Thep looked good for the price. Livinn Mansion is a good price, decent walking location.................................March Hotel has theaBest Beds in Pattaya I have stayed in. Not great location though.
Hi Daz. Can you give me a taxi company I can use to get from Bangkok airport to Pattaya please 🙏
Bolt App
An FYI:There is also a big bus for cheap, that leaves the BKK Airport every 2? hours. (Not sure when the last bus is though).
The ticket kiosk is on the BKK Airport ground floor, left side when looking out the outside window. The Bus has a couple stops in Pattaya, then finishes at a north Jomtien bus stop (where you can catch a baht bus north to Pattaya also for cheap.
@@sterling557 thank you so much 😊 it’s people like daz and yourself that makes things that little easier for people. Top man 👍☝️
Can you do video on villas to rent please?
Villas can only be rented Legally by the Month
@@CheekyMonkey007 Thanks but I’m looking for around a week. Group of 4-5 people and we’ll be travelling to other places too so can’t staying same place for a month
I watched a video yesterday and the at the bar was asking for 5k baht. It was after midnight and wasn't crowded. This was a normal bar on soi pothole.
Of course they will try it on especially if the guy is a newbie and drunk, that's the whole point of these videos, to educate you guys, so you know when to laugh in their faces and say "are you joking" then offer a sensible fee.
Can you bring a girl overnight? Extra charge?
No charge
The first place is kind of expensive ☹️but the second place looks really good 😊and Third place has the better price 😁🧐🤔
Rooftop pool 😊
Just google condo rent pattaya ( or jomtien ). Can find cheaper room but not so central. How much is motorcycle rent for 1 month now? Probably cheaper to rent bike + not central. Anyway, I have my own bike waiting for me :D
Most people won't risk their lives on a bike in Pattaya
What is a good luxury hotel in pattaya with a living room and separate bedroom, good shower and preferably with swimming pool and bar in the hotel with friendly girl policy. Costs not very important, i am looking for a luxury hotel, clean and no bullshit. Plan to stay for 2-3 weeks. Can you advise ?
The Hilton above Central Festival, most guys don't know that it's girl friendly !!!
air conditioning?
Always
