Congratulations this is the 1st review I have seen of this hotel looks good . Decent price as well £60 a night will have to look at that for my next trip after the one I start on Saturday .
Just come back last night. I stayed at the amethyst and the at the Debua both really nice but amethyst is the one for me plus it has more facilities like room, service or restaurant and a gym and the shop across the road called blow. If you know you know 😉
Yes there's a bathtub in the Blackwood Hotel I've stayed there before also I think rooms are much bigger and my plan is to stay at this hotel in June !
I winder if the 'circle indicators' are connecting to their pc's via software enabling them to be more proactive. Great customer service feature none-the-less. Thanks for sharing, just booked for Nov. and new sub!
Actually walked passed this hotel several times when i stayed at Holiday Inn never noticed it but damn it looks nice gonna try and see if i can stay here for atleast 1 night . Its hella expensive tho for average Thai hotel prices around 50+ euro's a night .
I booked the Amethyst hotel for this December, and I canceled my previous room at the Holiday Inn like you did lol. I got a better vibe from the Amethyst. After watching your cool video walk and review, I'm glad I did 😎 Good job making this video!!
Stayed twice, great location and that bed is A1 best ever. The breakfast if staying in the hotel is 130THB. For a bath upgrade to the Premier King Room.
The Areca is hit or miss depending which building you get (based on the few times I've stayed here). I quite like the Amethyst but it can be more $ than the Areca for sure. The Blackwoods looks like a nice alternative to Areca in a similar $ range IMO.
nice review buddy...........im staying here for 3 weeks........dec 6 until dec 27........got the room for 50 euros a night....B=B.....but i had to pay up front for that price...otherwise it was 110 a night for payment at hotel,,,,
@JohnnyStumbles totally worth it. Best hotel I have stayed in pattaya. Booked a suite + breakfast for like 87 € / night. Downside is I had to wait 5 hours to check-in because arrived to pattaya around 7:30 . Should have booked the previous night lol. Edit: they were doing a massive road work in front, so little bit messy to leave and enter the hotel. They are finishing in the next few weeks though
Hi Johnny, thanks very much for showing us all the hotels/Airbnbs you stayed at during your trips around Asia, I have enjoyed them all & you certainly picked them well! This hotel is fab - really liked the lobby it looks stunning. The room does look small but the decor makes it look cosy & inviting. Great to see all the amenities -this hotel sure does look after its guests 😊 Have got to say this one & the Siam Design Hotel I think are the best ones out of all the places you stayed at 😊👍 many thanks!
Hi Johnny How Are You Great Video Good Job Keep Up The Great Work!
Thx Johnny for this super hotel review and walk. I enjoyed it very very much.

No Iron or Ironing board? Thanks for the view
Nice video. Great room. Beautiful views.

You're welcome and I think you'll enjoy it. It's def the better of the two!
Going too in December.

Nice one , just looking at this hotel for next week. Looks decent. I usually stay in the Areca but fancy a change

Great vid🙌🏾
Was that an empty hot jacuzzi next to pool? I wonder will it be up and running eventually
?
I think so.. hopefully they sort it out.
How far from the tree town??
kool video! is it guest friendly?
i have done some research and apparently it is.
😮😮
Good location
Any noise at night?

The breakfast buffet was fairly extensive and good value. Pay daily. It was 150bht when I was there in Feb. Booking sites charge a lot more.
Thanks for the vid. But.... walking on Soi Bucky is like taking a death march, every time.
Brand new one 50 metres from yours very similar hotel near soi boomerang near highway bar
Booked this for August/September. Let's see how it goes
How was it?

@@alexandervogtsanchez7522 That's awesome, glad you enjoyed it!!!
Are you allowed to bring "guests" to the hotel?
@@jimmy-iq8lh 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Is it guest friendly ?
Yes 👍
I saw that it was online. Going to this hotel in December. Can't wait.
@jhonny can you please do the review for new hotel name Pooh Beach Resort and Spa
Nice video. Shouldve showed more of the gym

I saw your great vid and immediately booked the last standard room for the first two weeks of July).sorry, folks
It's not an ocean, it is the Gulf of Thailand
How was the noise level at night, i.e., any warnings/suggestions for light sleepers?
I stayed in a room at the front and had no problem with noise. After 2 am the whole area is like a ghost town anyway.
@@TheRobertino2001 thank you for the helpful feedback
It's pronounced am-eh-thyst FYI. Nice review
Bathrooms have basins, kitchens have sinks.
Better Anethyst or Arbour Hotel and Residence? I want pick up girl from street to hotel for night 😎
lol I can't comment on that second part but Amethyst has the better location.
Debua very old just reopened. Amethyst not put rest to shame in area. You need to dig a little deeper, not a four star, not even close.
Totally perplexes me that 95 percent of hotels in Thailand don't have reasonable shade around their pools - for me always a deal breaker!!
The pool is for sun tanning, dummy.
It is not very nice to book a room at multiple hotels and then cancel. Thank you for the review.
Sorry.... ridiculous prices.
Compared to what you pay in the west for this standard of hotel it's an absolute steal. Hell in Bangkok this would cost nearly double.
amethyst pronounced ăm′ə-thĭst. Amethyst is the February birthstone. Otherwise enjoyed the tour
is it guest friendly?
