Stay as long as it's interesting. Don't set too high expectations, they only destroy the interest. And I genuinely recommend talking to your doc about medication if you aren't. They changed my life and I'm in year two of a bachelors degree in programming. It would be impossible without proper medication for my ADHD for me.

Those of you in the know will probably tell me that term is never EVER used and is something some marketing guy came up with.
I've been hired to do security audits before for massive enterprise-level corporations and I've worked with ethical hackers that are referred to as white hats by themselves and the people that hired me. "White hat" is absolutely a term that exists and is used in cybersecurity parlance.

For those of you not in the know, what he is describing is called White Hat Hacking, because it's supposed to be a good guy finding your vulnerabilities and making you aware.
Those of you in the know will probably tell me that term is never EVER used and is something some marketing guy came up with.
I've been hired to do security audits before for massive enterprise-level corporations and I've worked with ethical hackers that are referred to as white hats by themselves and the people that hired me.
"White hat" is absolutely a term that exists and is used in cybersecurity parlance.
Eh, business use it sometimes but it is slightly a novelty term. The term "hacker" itself feels novelty. It's security v.s. criminal as far as anyone is really concerned.
