I suspected Cushings, my new Endo says no. She said probably just PCOS but I have regular periods. Also had a healthy pregnancy and son in 2015 after losing 40lbs. Original weight 145 5’8” gained 50lbs in 9 months. Testosterone was 620ng/dl at age 22. Now 33 (female) IGF-1 just came back at 47 and Z score -2.2

I know it’s been a few years but get tested for low growth hormone. That’s what your numbers suggest and it’s same symptoms as cushings.

I suspected Cushings but Endo says No and won’t test. IGF-1 came back at 47, -2.2 z score. She doesn’t seem concerned?!!

Is it possible for someone with untreated cushings to go into a period of remission with proper diet , exercise, & low stress lifestyle? Where at that time physical symptoms aren’t as prominent compared to a year or two ago, but slowly start to present themselves again with changes in stressors, and lifestyle?
