Feels off not having Deviljho in a game for the first time since Tri. I hope he returns at some point.

Edit: Does anyone else think they made Zinogre FAR too thick in this game?

I think they don't want to focus on brute wyverns as a whole, but with the number of monsters they are adding per update who knows, would love to see Amatsu for sure!

Not sure if you noticed but there a lot of leviathan in this game like Mizutsune, Samnacanth and Almuduron. Ibushi and Narwa look similar to leviathans (long wyvern) too

@@fukunaga-kane I know. I’m very hopeful, but the animation skeleton being here doesn’t necessarily guarantee anything. The Gore Magala/Valstrax model was in World from the very start and neither of them made it into that or Iceborne.

Why do a nice 70% of the renders look this off?
It's not a model thing they're fine in game, but Royal Ludroth for example: it looks like something went horrendously wrong but I can't quite put my finger on it.

It’s the positioning, shading, and/or effects.
Ludroth doesn’t look wet, so he’s out of his element. His tail also looks like a clip-on due to the position he’s in.
Tobi-Kadachi is focusing too much on his wing membranes, instead of his sleekness.
Diablos’s horns aren’t in full display.
Rathian isn’t facing the camera in any way.
Basarios’s lighting is too harsh.
Rakna-Kadaki is positioned in a way that doesn’t look anything like her in-game.
Tigrex is often shown from a higher camera position, never from the side or below.
Zinogre’s foot is so far in front it looks too big, and the position doesn’t show off his arrogant/proud nature.
And more
On the opposite end of the spectrum, Goss Harag, Magnamalo, Rathalos, Khezu, Nargacuga, and Bishaten are goddamn perfect.
