Not enough media let's a big monster just belt it out in my opinion. These games show that the roar is as important to a monster's design as anything else.
As a fan of MH, my fave has got to be Tigrex. I love his design, it’s simplistic but fitting. Also his roar, it pitched in the beginning (which I never caught until now) 5:08
@@Stories-ji7lz i wonder why they made Daiymo master rank then, they might of just forgot that he existed untill sunbreak released. I wouldnt of minded if he got added before sunbreak released as a pre sunbreak title update
Volvidon probably gets 4 stars because he shows up relatively late in the Village quest line. His paralysis spit, his tough outer shell, his stink blast that stops you from using edible items and his incredible mobility via rolling put him several pegs above the other two bear-based Fanged Beasts.
Volvidon is like the strongest if the trio. They get super big, their attacks are trickier and hit harder. They're super fast (Arzuros and Lagombi are too but maybe not as much).

I friggin love Seething Bazegeuse's scream. It's so hard to find that sound anywhere
It's more of a bellow than a scream, but yes, I agree, bezel is my fav new monster in MHW
It gets kinda weird when you realize its the same stock sound used for Springtrap.

Ranks mean nothing on their threat level, daiymo has always been a low tier monster

I think some of the threat levels are bs. How is volvidon a 4 star threat? And Zinogre deserves to be 7 stars, I always thought he was until recently.
These threat levels are mostly for gameplay and monster rank. Plus they change very often, like Zinogre in Iceborne
