Those are the stories that get me excited about collecting comic books. The history of them are cool, but the stories of collectors that find memorable issues of their childhood are even better. Thanks for sharing. I think I will go hunting for Comics today. Later.
So cool you found that birthday date stamp! My bday is a few days after yours btw. Finding that Legends set was a stroke of luck too. Thanks for sharing my friend.👊
Nice score on those bronze age horror comics! Congrats on the Tales of Suspense! One of my favorite Kirby covers and you bday date stamp how cool is that!
Cool pick ups 👍. I collect vintage fantastic four. Iron man. Thor. The flash. Hulk. Superman. Wish i could find such cool deals. I need som of Satan one. New subscriber. 😁
Hello - I found your channel yesterday and thought "Hmmm... his local HPB sounds a LOT like mine." Then, when going back to your earlier videos, the mention of the closing of Tom's Vintage Toys verified that we visit the very same stores. Ollie's has caused my bookshelves to sag. And I know who "Mailman" Randy is, but I won't compete too much: you guys are younger than I am, and I collect primarily HC collections of Golden Age DCs and old newspaper strips -- having zero interest in modern stuff like Venom & Carnage. Hope to meet you at some point. By the way, the reason the Wood comic "Heroes Inc. Presents Cannon" became inexpensive was due to a big warehouse find in recent years, flooding the market with copies. Happy hunting, looking forward to going down "Memory Lane."
Howdy. Well, this was a fun way to wake up. You made me smile with the “Memory Lane” line. My first comic/baseball card shop. Hope to run into you at one of the local haunts.
Great stuff! I'll always roll out of bed to hunt comics!
Me too. It’s a blessing and a curse.
