Condor Trivittata Puukko-Best Design Yet from Condor!

  • The Trivittata Puukko designed by Goran Mihajlovic has to be the best design from Condor thus far! 1/8” 1095 steel, full-tang, micarta handle, and a nice leather sheath.
The design and edge profile is exceptional and receives an A+ for working wood and bushcraft tasks. This knife reminds me a lot of Rod Garcías Skookum Bush Tool, or the MK1 and MK2 Tributes from Rob Evans. Those knives are hard to come by and will set you back a good couple hundred or more. I guess you could consider this Trivittata Puukko the Poor Man’s Bush Tool. 😂
Yes, the fit ad finish isn’t as refined as a much more expensive offering from Bark River or LT Wright, but I actually like the “rustic” feel you get with Condor. And for the price, this puukko and sheath is a great package deal! 👍
If you’re looking for an exceptional bushcraft knife that won’t break that bank, this knife is one of the best you can get!

Truth! It’s an exceptional knife and the best Condor to date IMO. And thank you for the comment.

You would like the Mountaineer Trail knife by Condor. A little different blade profile. 4 1/4 blade of well done 440C so corrosion isnt much of a issue as with 1095 and its sharp as heck and easy to keep that way. . It also has a nice leather dangle sheath .

Another knife? Don’t mind if I do! 😄 Thanks for the comment! I will definitely check that out!

Correction, Mountaineer Trail Hunter. They evidently have a Trail and a Trail Hunter.

I see we share the same taste in knives . That forest knife made by BRK is awesome , I wanted the LT Lagoom for so long that I've fallen out of love with it, LOL 😂
That korpi is cool. I just wish they used their 80CrV2 instead. I built a handle on their Forester 100 and love that 80CrV2 its excellent steel.
I really like the Trivitatta its tied with my Enzo Elver both are amazing wood tools. I was gonna buy another Enzo Elver kit from DLT but told people about it and its now gone forever , sold out. 😒
I think my Trivitatta Puukko vid caused a shortage on that knife . I'm just a tiny hobby channel and got 11,000k views already . People are hungry for good Puukko designs in this current market. That Trivitatta has been out for a long time but nobody really shared it on YT.
The large survival knife is making a comeback...been there done that and I aint buying the hype.

Hey, thanks for dropping a comment! I also just subbed to your channel. Yeah, 80CrV2 is good stuff!! That would be dope to see NKD release the Korpi in that steel!
I wish I would have picked up an Elver or two years ago. Back then, I had the EnZo Trapper and always felt some buyer’s remorse for choosing it over the Elver. 😂
So, I have you to potentially blame for the Trivittata shortage, eh? 😂 I remember when it came out in Blade Show 2023. Then, I snoozed too long and seriously nobody had them in stock, or only had them available as part of a never-ending pre-order. Lamnia still has plenty of’em, as well as Country Knives has a few, but purchase options across the board are slim pickings.
I still love me a good large knife, but mostly just for cool factor and for adding to the collection. Outside of maybe a couple, my larger knives seldom see the light of day. 😂 My smaller knives mostly see all the use, as I just don’t favor large knives for most of the stuff I enjoy doing. Just give me a nicely designed puukko and I’m good! 👍😀

      @@blackhawkbushcraft Amen ,puukkos are awesome.
I think Condor lost a lot of the American market cause of the 1075hc hate and quality control problems.
1075 is fine on most grinds but for scandi blades it's a bit to soft without slight convex on them.
I've went full circle and have lost that desire for expensive super steel blades. I do want an LT Genesis, its still on my list of must have knives.
If you see the Flissa Bushcraft Knife I reviewed, Amazon has the G10 black handle for only $22 last I checked.
It's worth a $20 bill and change ...It has me puzzled , the D2 is hard stuff and the spine cut my thumb. The grind is so dialed , it truly feels like a $100 knife and has a good tall scandi edge geometry....But the sheath is weird , it works though that's what matters most.
I plan on doing a rehandle and new sheath for it when I get the time.
Thanks for the sub brother 🙏.

I’ll have to check out your review on that Flissa. 👍
Speaking to your Genesis comment, I have the standard 4” Genesis in A2, and then the 6” version in O1. Both came with Scandi zero grinds, but the 4” in A2 now has an ever so slightly convex relief edge, which really helped against micro chips. Both great knives and they bite and handle wood exceptionally well.

@blackhawkbushcraft Much appreciated man, unfortunately my bank card was hacked last week.
I was already struggling like most people ...I have no idea how they got my card nor does the credit system. Hopefully I'll get it back but it makes ya feel violated big time .
Our bank cards are so easy for these people to get online or through skimming readers . Fortunately they didn't get to much it could have been way way worse worse. I'd probably have to sell some knives to buy a premium right now so ain't gonna happen . BUT I am considering that Buck GCK , it's a killer rig.
What really ticks me off more than the constant 99cent purchases was that they had an ELECTRIC CAR and charged it with my card !!! Probably some electric driving prius owner with blue hair got my card info 🤨
      Grrrrrrr.

It’s almost a copy of Skookum Bush Tool designed by deceased Mors Kochanski made by Rod Garcia.
